I work in a treatment facility in New York and I see the pain and sorrow every day. I have dedicated my life to helping and understanding what has led these tormented souls to this point. The key word is tormented, 93% of my patients have severe trauma that has pushed them to this point. The kindness and support you give to this community is probably the only kindness they have had in a very long time. God bless you and what you have accomplished in your life and the ability to help those in need. Much respect to you.

I get what you are saying but they aren't all tormented souls.
A lot of them simply made a bad choice to take that first patch or pill or shot when they really should have known better.
I suppose that after that yes, they eventually be one tormented souls ...

Dietro ad ogni male interiore, dietro ad ogni pazzia , dietro ad ogni drogato , c'è sempre un un dolore morale,un trauma, un dolore fisico.Ti auguro di stare in salute e sereno.Saluti dall'Italia.

@@AudreyArequipa I lived in the US for 10 yrs where elderly, children, mentally sick & disabled people sleep in tents & cardboard boxes in alleyways. The main difference between the US & other countries is there is no free health/hospital/ mental health care. Unemployment payments are based on how long you were employed at your last job & they run out within months. Then you are on your own. In NZ we have unemployment/sickness/ ACC & single mothers benefits & state housing. People in NZ receive Gvnt payments weekly & indefinitely regardless if they have ever had a job. Addicts & the poor have options in NZ that are non-existent in the US.

    • @den264

USA politician's are far too busy seeking power and money to give a dam about people on the streets. They much prefer to take the monthly handouts from wealthy Jews to ensure Israel gets its 3.4 billion dollars annually. A foreign country in the middle east takes president over American citizens.

Your personality shows through and that is very interesting and poignant to the storyline. You should do more of these short films; you have your own unique talent and to many people you talking to the camera really adds immense interest and humanity and compassion to this film.

The hardest thing I’ve ever done was being an opioid addict. 16 years ago, when prescription opioids were still cheaper, I would hustle all day, even while employed to support my habit. Worked hard to avoid the withdrawal, which was worse than the worst flu times a million. Quitting was 2nd hardest thing at that time, but has since become easier, being sober for 16 years. People say, “ why would anyone want to live like that” , for they have no clue, as people don’t choose this at this point, choice is made by ur addiction. These people are worth no less than a doctor, teacher, lawyer, parent, son, sister etc. way we deal with illness like this needs to change, instead of ignoring them like you don’t see the pain.

In Poland, when someone sees a man in such a state, he calls the ambulance or the police and she calls the doctor. With us, everyone has the right to medical care, hospital stay, surgery, rehabilitation. Every! And with you? I know that you are not for free. You can see that man cannot cope with reality. Nobody will take care of it with you. He will never come out of it. And you know it.

It’s ravaging Los Angeles streets as well. I’m in my 12th year of recovery. I felt his pain. I was smoking an upper and once up for 6 days. I finally took a shower and looked down and couldn’t understand why the water was black. I was filthy and I had an apartment and managed to keep my steady job. Thanks Frank. My best friend died on 11/25/21. He slammed speed and was homeless. He was only 44. I left him around 2012 due to myself getting sober. As you know, your simple intervention of caring and understanding goes a long way. Most people don’t understand if they haven’t been there and are scared or just feel they can’t do anything. Finally, again you and I know a quick intervention could be lifesaving. You just never know. I completely understand your efforts and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Unfortunately what we had to go through makes us perfect to do outreach. We’ve been there. Done that. And we realize that one small minute of time may spark hope when we approach to intercede in some way, shape or form. Peace and Blessings always to you.🙏

USA gives Israel, a foreign country 3.4 billion dollars of American tax payer money every year. And in addition some billions more annually of state of the art military weapons to enable Israel to subjugate and murder thousands of innocent Palestinians. Just think if we were to channel that money in to our healthcare, mental care, drug addiction. Sounds proper but greedy blackmailed Congressmen don't do propper when they're making fortunes and staying high on the political spectrum.

I can not believe this here in the UNITED STATES. B4 he got locked up he would show me and I thought this was in another country. I AM in recovery worked with many alcoholic addicts yet I have not experienced or seen any body like this in real life till this last summer a few and there were on the streets. I even got scared cause I thought some thing was wrong with them or they would fall and hurt themselves. I Pray for the people. We have no right to judge any body or talk them down you never know when this type situation can hit home or some one you love. My g-son said maybe when he gets out that he could possibly work with the young ones doing some thing like Frank does he says to me. I pray for him to change he has a good heart and I believe god has a plan for him and what you do I’m sure you are in the minds of other like my g-son to help other’s and for other’s to see the reality and try to understand and comprehend the reality of this type of life. I worked in the center of Boston and had never seen a person who had taken these drugs. A woman walked passed me, dropped her purse, and kept walking. She then bent over with her arms dangling and didn’t move. I had absolutely no idea what was wrong with her. I called 911 and said that someone just fell unconscious. The ambulance came. The EMTs saw what the issue was and laughed. I asked them “What’s so funny?” And told them to help her. They just didn’t care and said that they see it all the time and that if I’m working there I should get used to it. Say what?!?! They didn’t even check her out. They got back in the ambulance and drove off. I picked up her purse and guided her to a soft spot in the grass. I sat with her a couple of hours until she could get up and be steady in her feet.
This video breaks my heart. I’m here because a friend’s son is missing and she thinks he’s in Kensington. About a year ago my nephew went missing and he was found in Kensington.
I have no answers. But I know that we can do better. The fact is that every person in that community just walks by this tortured soul as if it’s normal. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! There is so much very wrong with this.
Thank you for your kindness and the creation of this video. I hope it will inspire someone to make some needed changes.

I see your kindness and you caring for the vulnerable Frank. I know your mother is so proud of you for who you have become. if this was my child my heart would crumble to the floor. My brother is known as the gentle giant that can stand up for himself as well. Frank you are now the second gentle Giant in my life. We need more gentle Giants in this world. The care that shows in your eyes for other people who are not able to take care of themselves is a wonderful thing. Jesus please help all of us who are vulnerable weak and in pain, whether it's physical or mental. I believe some people out here have chronic pain and their doctors didn't care enough about them so they're stuck doing whatever they can to numb their physical pain. Some made wrong choices because of emotional pain and now they have both emotional and physical pain. I hope this handsome man gets the help he needs. This world is a horrible place to be, especially if you're alone. God bless us all 🙏❤

Frank can I ask you when did this video take place? This is a good friend of mine over a decade. This is so heartbreaking. This brought tears to my eyes. I am so worried about him. This is not the only video of him like this. So it seems to me he has been stuck like this for days. I think he truly needs medical attention. The crazy thing is he was clean and just relapsed so I'm thinking that because of this is why he is getting the reaction he got. I do not want him to die down there. Can you please tell me when did this take place. I would like to see if I can find him so I can possibly get him out of there and to get some help. He needs the help I never seen him like this before. It literally looks like he is stuck in a trip amd has been in this trip for few days now. Please respond to me.

I have told lots of people mostly clinicians in methadone programs to watch this on TH-cam morals of the money, bad day in Kensington for learning purposes. I got phone calls back within hours of how much this can help other patience. To the man that is in this video ( Brother I love you an you are loved by many many people whether you know it or not.I wish you nothing but happiness, love an caring in your life.) I had used for about 11 years and it was ugly for the last 3.The very first time I was handed a bag of Fentanyl was the last day of using!!! Why some of you might ask? I knew in my heart that I would die because of that shit. That was 2015. I hope anyone who is on Heroin or Fentanyl that they find the will to stop using before they pass away from this awful shit. Take care all, Kevin

Frank I just want to say thank you to all that you do every day. For all that you make light of and not a way as to harm or be little those on the bottom. I also struggled with addiction for for multiple decades have my kids taken still wasn't enough it takes for people dying around you sometimes that isn't enough it was enough for me. I had had enough!!!! And I just want to say I hope God blesses you and everything you hold thee to you just for the things that you do everyday by helping people and making light of this other Pandemic we have called addiction!!! After watching this video it honestly makes me wanna go out and do the same thing you do I wish I had the means the means to help as much as you do. However walking down the road if I saw that man I'd probably asked him if I could have helped him the same way you did when I tried again the same way you did and I think by letting him know you understood his pain and that you've been there is what finally allowed in the allowed You to help him. I again just want to thank you for what you do everyday Do you have one great question now the state destiny was in is there not ambulances that would show up to pick people up that we're in this condition I mean just Hi I get it they don't bother buthey don't bother but in the condition that hes in I see it a lot in your videos honestly and it doesn't look like there's a whole lot of emergency intervention going on. Don't think people realize that this actually goes on in America where there is actually an open air market and that the cops do not give a fuck they can't be bothered. That's why I think it takes over so much it looks so bad. But he is in clear need of medical attention is medical attention before he hurts himself or gets hit by a car If there's any way you could kind of post an update if you end up getting one I know that's here today gone tomorrow you may never see this man ever again but but if you do end up trying to post an update greatly appreciated and again thank you king frank for everything you do everyday. Fentanyl is a highly addictive drug that is deadly in minute amounts. China supplies a LOT of Fentanyl to Mexico. Then, it is laced into Cocain, heroin, and even weed. Even scarier is the fake prescription drugs. Fentanyl powder is pressed into looking like oxycodone, morphine, & other opiates. They coat it with aspirin sometimes to make it look authentic. There is enough Fentanyl now on the U.S. side of the border to kill every American 5 times over. One Pill can kill. In 2022, almost 9 times as many people died of Fentanyl overdose than died of Covid. Most of them between the ages of 15-35, and it was just a young person, expiramenting with 1 pill they "thought" was something else. THIS epidemic should be a National emergency & on every news channel with a death toll ticker to raise awareness, but it is not. I hope this helps. 👍

@@stormy439 No, it really isn't. If that were true they would not have treated me in hospital with fentanyl and morphine and vicadin. Fentanyl is about equivalent with morphine, not stronger than that. As k people who have actually been prescribed the dug.

That's really sad. I live in south jersey and didn't realize it was that bad till your channel. Salem county is bad that's why we moved away but this is a whole new reality. Praying for all going through this 🙏🙏🙏. I wish there was more help out there. Sad I wish more people would want to get help. I hope people see this and see what can happen.

Man, this is an amazing image of the Gospel and God's desire to engage with and help us. Much of us refuse the same way as this young man. God bless you frank.

Thank you for not judging. My scholar athlete only daughter who had the best of everything died from a fentanyl overdose. Drugs do not discriminate. I want to do something more than tell my daughter's story.

I learn from your videos that these are people just like us and deserve to be treated with respect no matter what shape they’re in.

They didn’t start out by saying let me get to the point that they are now it’s just something the drug did to them
