Man Alive that's a crappie paradise right there,, I Fish the Swamp Over here in Mississippi ,the Pascagoula River Basin pretty much , there's Places some like that in the oxbows on the Pascagoula River WMA , there's no locks or dam so the River controls everything in the swamp, Great looking Crappie, Shallow Up to about 3 ft Stay above the crappie, Try the Cajun Cricket Color In there, It Works for me in the swamp, Yellow and Monkey milk too ,the water looks Alot the same

That’s the plan! Just wanted to give a baseline video for fishing in my swamp, next few videos should just be fish if I could manage to get all of them on camera.
I love BnM jig poles. All the models have their purpose, and you can get replacement tips for them. The Tree Thumper is perfect for dipping baits in heavy cover. Another jig pole I like is the Berkley C-Series 10'. They are only $40 at walmart. 10 footers aren't the best for poppin a cork. 8-8.5' rods seem to work better. BnM's Russ Bailey 8 footer is made to do the same as the Kfred. As for storage, I cut down bass rod socks to where they fit my jig poles. It works waaaay better than a rubber band and really protects the tip section. Great video. Your duck lake look familiar.

I do occasionally, but we run through so much low, hanging branches and hyacinth. It knocks things over and puts a lot of debris in the boat
