Hello, very good content, greetings from Panama
Hey I used to be a very big Mac user about 10 years ago and I absolutely loved using photoshop I became so accustom to it and it was like an extension of me since it is what I used everyday for various things (web design, icons, forum signatures) fast forward 10 years I am using Win 10 with GIMP, and man I got to tell you it is so hard! It reminds me of when I first started out with graphic design, boy you are really good at using this app and I am sure I will learn a thing or 2 from your videos!! Masterful work!
Congratulations! Very clean and professional job. The best knowledge of GIMP on web.
Great tutorial and the result is stylish
Thank you!
The result looks great! Thank you for this tutorial :)
Thank you! 😊
Oh man, that is just too cool. Another fantastic tutorial Mike!
Great tutorial to follow along to - thanks for sharing your knowledge
really nice tutorial Mike... thank you
Thanks!
Thanks a lot Dave for the pro tip.
Thank you so much I love how you teach.👍
Nice 😉
Thanks Bro 👍
Nice work. As a user of gimp for various projects over the years, watching your video made me realize there is still so much to learn. And since I don't have an eye yet for shadows yet, I'm going to try to create something in Canva and import it into Gimp.
thank you for your describing
Such classy and minimalist effect. Hey Mike, could you make a tutorial on cartoonizing somebody's photo?
Yes, that would be very interesting.
Great information.
QUESTION: Is it possible to MODIFY a filter once you apply it? I can't seem to find a way to do that. did I miss something? Deleting the layer and starting over seems like a lot of extra work.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but GIMP does not have non-destructive editing as of the time of this comment. This has been a major point of contention over the last 5+ years. Just saw a comment today from a developer that they’re hoping to finalize a testable implementation of this in the next month, but who knows when it’ll be widely available in a stable release version.
Hi from Thailand, can this be used on a graphic image?
Amazing!! Easy it
Can you do a tutorial where you discuss what you think are the best G'mic filters?
I would like to eventually. Requires a lot of research.
sir many people said that gimp is now over in 2023 it is outdated is it real or we can really rely on gimp
Everything went ok, just untill you went really fast on the script fu application. I can find add bevel, but it does nothing. I don't really understand script fu.
when inverting the colors in my example doesn't change like yours ... what I did wrong? .-.
new to this frustrating program but I can't even pass the point to actually see dropdown shadow 😭
GREAt vid
Thanks!
I dont understand working with layer...
Man great video. But I wish you could explain it a little more simpler!
This is too difficult. What a messy program.
lost me at the end paet
Looks whack.
