Oh right if you press C while doing an elemental discharge you can grab on to the monster, and then either tenderize or go all out

Theres a thing you can do with the axe form in where if you are doing the wild swing move. After three swings if you press the top conroller button (triangle on PS5), you can do a powerful slam attack that buffs the axe portion of your weapon.
At this point, I don't have Iceborne yet, since I want to at least complete the base game story without the Iceborne upgrade
