It’s time for the federal government to do things to benefit the Americans who did work for Deere and the American farmers. It really doesn’t matter what color your tractor is more than likely the manufacturer tag on the tractor will be stamped made in some other country than the United States. Other countries have become so efficient at farming they are really become major suppliers of grain products on a global basis. Something the people reading this should know is that grain companies are not United States companies only they are huge global companies. Environmental laws come into play a lot differently in foreign countries than the United States. Corporate greed is only one reason for manufacturing moving out of our country. Manufacturing has been leaving our country for years this is nothing new. Globalization is another reason why American jobs are being destroyed. John Deere in the farming industry used to be a high quality built equipment now that won’t be the case anymore. In the end by moving totally out of the United States could very well cost them in market shares both in equipment sales and stock price. What people don't consider is looking at the local and state level of regulations, laws, taxes, fees and so on. The local and state gvts often place a bigger cost burden on companies than does the federal gvt. The more regulations, fees and taxes that are placed on a company, the product gets more and more expensive. I am not defending John Deere. I have seen this effect for several decades with many manufactures that are trying to keep a competitive price for their products. My biggest complaint on John Deere is the ability to work and fix equipment that you own. Despite a farmer owning the equipment, they are not allowed to do 99% of the maintenance. John Deere requires their own tech to do the work, and that tech has John Deere specific computer software to plug into the machine to diagnose, run software updates and so on. But the farmer is not allowed to have that software. This costs farmers and ranchers billions of dollars every year, and this drives the price of food up even more.....Also, the company has a fiduciary responsibility to stock owners to make a profit every year. And to do better each year over year.

@@bobmorgan1575 a new combine starts at 1 million, to me the definition of a millionaire is what they have in equity. How about the cost of land in today’s market. I think you made a mistake the corporate farmer are billionaires.
the CEO john may needs to be FIRED TRUMP SHOULD DO THAT
I agree john deere owns the software it belongs to them.however they need to make software available and affordable to rent, own you give hundreds of thousands dollars for equipment you need it running......to heck with john deere
Wont be long , it will be Fendt Deere !
JD is reprehensible as a farm machine company. Greedy, unfeeling, and overpriced. That's why they took so much money--like the tax collectors of Roman times--take whatever they can get away with. Deere is in for an awakening, and I don't mean WOKE!!
and this is why many people will be buying older equipment with out all the tech i just watch a guy get a dead john deere out of a field for 2k and he fixed it and farmed his corn field with it and now just say he has about 3000 into it for parts needed to fix if he sold that same machine at a auction i bet it go for 15 to 20 k being from the 70's
I bet that saving money will not lower prises
JD sure has a lot of history. My dad loved JD he's gone now.Its not all about farming.
John Deere technology helps farmers harvest and feeds nation around world 🌎
jd has screwed all the employees in profit sharing this year. made 10 billion and profits for employees share way down. Again to our retirement health care away.
Now it is the time to buy stock's when it soon fell down to the bottom and when they change their policy and coming back to the US the stock's wil be sky high!"
Why keep buying those tractors.. other good brands out there..
Deere is doing just fine. Their stock is at an all time high this past week.
For now…..
Any Jon dear that is less then 50 h.p. is actually a Yanmar tractor
I would not buy a new J D even if I had Elon, Bill Gates, and Warn Buffits money.
It is more about getting away from don. Break out the old tractors.
I found it funny Trump would be upset...............his MAGA hats aren't even made in the United States.........I think they are 49.00 a hat...............hummmmmmm something is not right
