@@BakersGas Thank you for the info man
I used this machine today. Have owned it for over 10 years. It has been fantastic. I also have the 150 spool gun.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Bought the millermatic 211 about a year ago and I had issues with the gauges not working correctly, miller sent me a much nicer set under warranty, other than that it a wonderful welder
This was the best video. Short sweet to the point.
Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
People want to know if it's on Flex core mode and you swap the polarity cables can you use the gas even though you don't have to like dual Shield
Can you use the 211 with flux core as a dual shield with gas does the solenoid open and close with the trigger
Will this unit handle 1/4" aluminum?
On this welder you can use a fifteen foot gun for better reach. I have one on my welder works great.
Yes thanks for watching! Anyone looking for the 15 foot gun:

Is Miller still owned and operated in the US and are they made in the US
Yes, they assemble and engineer all of the equipment in Appleton, WI! We got a chance to go on a tour it was awesome!
@@BakersGas”Assemble and Engineer” does not mean Made in the USA. If I build a Camaro here in the US using Toyota parts, does that make it “Made in America”? Big Blue sold out, just like the rest of them, but still expect top dollar. I’ve switched to Everlast and couldn’t be happier. 4 board failures in 3 years. Miller made an enormous mistake selling out on it’s loyal customers.
is there a euro torch version of this machine ?
This my friend is why i love youtube. Thank you, know i now what i have and how to use it
Thank you for watching!
Will you do aluminum welding with it .?
Yes with the spoolgun! We do have a video going over the Spoomate it is on the 220 but same way with the 211..see below:

Do not give up Nardy
assembled in the usa but where are the parts from???
Chyyyyna.
Can this machine hook up to FCAW-G
Hello, Yes you can flux core MIG weld if you change your drive rolls
He said “Assembled in Wisconsin all American” 🤣. Far from all American, but they do pay Americans in apple Wisconsin to put the Chinese parts together like legos.
I had 4 board failures in 3 years from their Chyyyyna parts. Finally sold the machine and bought an Everlast. At least they’re honest about being Chinese made, have a 5 year warranty (“Big Blue” is only 3), and I got a fully loaded multiprocess machine for like $1000 less than this POS Miller box was brand new. Have had absolutely zero issues with it, and honestly, I think it welds slightly better than the Miller too, Mig vs Mig. Everytime my 211 broke, they’d need 2-3 months to fix the damn thing. NEVER AGAIN. 👎🏻
I would have appreciated a general comment like yes you can use this with flux core and even though you don't need gas you can run gas also
Not worth the money. Spend money on a better unit. I bought one almost 4 years ago, at the 2 year & 9 month mark of owning main board fried. After calls and emails miller warrantied. 9 month later and 3X 12lbs spools later unit won’t turn on again. Completely dead. This is stored in a dust free shop, clean and heated. Light hobby use. Small farm repairs. No commercial use in any way shape or form.
They are close to $3000 (cad) new now. The fella that fixed it last said if miller didn’t warranty that repair it would have cost me $2000. These inverter type welders are NOT worth it. No clue why no one talks about this.

Sorry to be a jerk I guess I must be jealous of people who got Christmas seems like a video on how to unpack a machine
The older 211 was a much better machine.
