that was pretty funny when the spool can loose everyone has had that happen to them a time or two it was really fun to have be someone else not me this time! good video too.
Used this video to set up my 211 and spent a few weeks trying to figure out why all my welds were very porous.. well.. it's because my hose wasn't seated all the way so gas never made it to the end of the hose. If you watch him push the hose in and lock it down.. it's only half way in and you can see the second rubber gasket and holes. They should not be visible when the hose is seated completely.
Me too I just can't have it shipped to the house it would be too tough to smuggle it in the house without wifey finding out. Especially something with a comma in the price tag
I just bought the millermatic 211 because of your review. But I noticed when you slip the end of the gun connection in the machine you didn't push it all the way threw. I believe you need to make sure the nut at the end of the line is visible. Maybe you can let me know if this is right.??
8:41 Make you set the tension correctly on that nut according to the manual. The spring is there for a reason...and that's to set the correct tension. If you just set half ass it "as long as it does not free spool" like he did in this video you are going to have feeding issues and your wire is going to stub and go pop-pop-pop-pop when you weld. You might get away with it with the dinky spool. If you use a 10 pound spool you won't get away with it like that.
I know this is an old post. I ended up not using the spring, no matter how I set the nut w/spring it just wouldn’t run smooth. I have a 215 I just picked up and couldn’t figure out why, hence I found this post. It didn’t work with spring on the small roll either.
Was looking at this welder but after reading on some of the welding blogs, I heard the circuit board is not coated which leads to failure if you do a lot of grinding near the machine.
Certainly the Lincoln 140 MIG PAK from Canadian tire up here north of the border as well as the Hobart 140 at Princess Auto. But caution- both producers make a Lincoln just for Canadian Tire and the internals are cheaper and if you need any repairs you will have to go through them and cannot get parts at your local Lincoln dealer, as for the Hobart 140 .. cheaper internals version and the real made in USA version... MasterCraft makes a 110V welder too lol... if you needed a paperweight
thank is very helpful yet l have many thing to kno about welding am intreting in this model l dont know any thing so l will be watching your videos is for home farm proyec
Quick question, I'm finding mixed opinions. The stock regulator is ok to use with straight co2 like you did in the video? Booklet says otherwise is my only reason I question it. I know a 75/25 regulator and freeze when using straight co2 but if I'm not welding long continuous welds I should be fine? Thank you for any input.
Excellent tutorial! This guy is one of the easiest to follow and most thorough without all the nonsense. Thank you
Its nice to see a non shaky video with clear instructions and features, you don't see that everyday, Thanks
love the way he doesn't edit out the little flubs, because it does make authentic. thank you
New to welding and just bought this unit ... my first welder. Your video is most informative, very helpful. Thanks!
You convinced me to buy the millermatic 211. i love the redesigned machine, works wonderful and i love that i can move it around the shop with ease.
A very nicely done video for anyone setting this machine up from scratch. Well done.
Great Job Sir You Remind Me Of My Good Friend Russ. He Was Awesome And So Are You !

Probably should’ve used the manual huh?
VERY good video! Clear and easy to follow. PS thanks for not editing out the unspooling of the wire 🙂
Excellent review of the millermatic 211! Thank you!
That was hilarious when the wire went all over the place 🤣 especially your reaction I watched it a few times it makes you human great video
Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing!
Thank you for taking time and making the video. It was very helpful. I'm glad u left nothing out
This was so helpful. I’m new to welding so this helped me a lot 🤙🏼
This is great!!! I’m buying one!!and yes I’ve done the same spool unwinding thing too many times 😜
Such a great and clear video! Thank you so much! 🙏🏾
Great video! Thanks. I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on one of these.
Me too I just can't have it shipped to the house it would be too tough to smuggle it in the house without wifey finding out. Especially something with a comma in the price tag
A thorough review thanks a ton!
I really like this guy; I wonder where he went?

U are right. The liner all most touches the drive roll. I just bought one and set it up so I noticed the error.
Must of been in a Rush! . . .I noticed, then I went looking for comments! Ha!
But Great Video!
I love those "cat-like refexes"! Just like mine.
Educate me on gasses. I’m new to this and getting this machine (current one) what are my choices and pros and cons for different types.
Best review ever...Thanks

What is the price of that machine ?
And great job on keeping your cool when that damn wire popped off the spool
Great video! Thanks for sharing love you left the blooper.

Will you Review the MILLERMATIC 215 MULTI PROCESS ....Thanks
I really want one of these.
I love this guy.
Great Host!
Super good video thanks a bunch
Great video, thank you
Look forward to the next video. Nice stuff man.
Pidge.
Do I need this welder if I'm only going to weld 3 or 4 times a year? Are there any other alternatives for a hobbyist?

Hello 👋🏻. I would like to know what kind of gas do I need for that welding machine? Thx in advance
Thank you
Can you do a review, setup and tests of Miller Dynasty 210 DX especially tig welding on thin metal sheets and aluminum? Thanks.
good set up instructions thanks
Thank you Sir

Thank you Sir!
Well done!
No thread tape required on the gas connection?
Great video. Loved the part where the spool went crazy. Great visual to keep me paying attention when I set mine up. :)

Thanks for the video
Can I plug that into an engine drive welding machine and weld with it? For example a Miller big blue 300
Yes
Good job on video !!!
Was part 2 ever made?...🤔
great job...
I think I got 20 years older just watching this video
man i HATE slip-on nozzles. they just don't give you enough control of your gas coverage
Losing the little bit of wire was the best.
I’m need the plug male of 220 Volts, & 120 Volts, female boss you have for sale ?
I wonder how he got that table in place.
HAHA! That's a nice table, right? We have one just like it at work. It takes 8 guys or the forklift to move it.
CO2 provides better penetration given identical heat settings but produces more spatter. C-25 provides good penetration but LESS spatter
TP always goes over the top ... just like a roll of MIG wire....
ALWAYS OVER THE TOP DAMMIT!
LOL
lol yes, over the top.
Where is Mr. Tig????
Will it weld
Whoa whoa, toilet paper only goes over the top.
Dry
Goofy instructor.
