      Remember when during the retreat a taliban suicide bomber killed a bunch of American troops, then in retaliation we bombed a car full of innocent women and children and said it was ISIS? Then when the news came out that it was women and children in the car Millie apologized and no one ever avenged the dead Americans. Made us look like a bunch of 🐈

      ​​@@ss454nova4he did but he made it pretty clear if they didn't keep up their end of the deal which included not randomly executing citizens, reprisals against our allies, stopping woman's rights to education and basic human rights etc. then the deal was off and the troops weren't going anywhere as soon as Biden was in power the Taliban knew there'd be no repercussions for their abhorrent actions he also was adamant about US instruments of war were not to be just abandoned and basically gifted to the Taliban....
      I'm not the biggest fan of him but the withdrawal would have been nothing like the absolute tragedy that unfolded

    Question to all the vets out there.....
    How do things like this affect you? Are you still proud of the U.S. military? Are you able to compartmentalize gaffes like this & detach yourself from them? Do you ever question your own deployments & the leaders who put you there?
    I know we're all pawns in the game but hearing stories like this or Benghazi make my blood boil! I can't imagine the mental toll it must have on those who live it & for the life of me I can't see how anyone can take pride in organization that treats their own & allies this way. Help me understand 🙏

      Saw 50 executed. If you understand nothing about war understand that watching innocents die as a soldier is worse than a combatant dying. I'm no soldier but I've heard stories from many many service members. At least a soldier/combatant signed up for it. Truly no one loses in war more than civilians.

    I heard another military member tell a story of parents throwing their infant over the fence so they could have a better life, but what they did not know behind that fence/wall was barbed wire in the infants were getting pretty much decapitated once they got thrown over the wall by their parents
