Remember when during the retreat a taliban suicide bomber killed a bunch of American troops, then in retaliation we bombed a car full of innocent women and children and said it was ISIS? Then when the news came out that it was women and children in the car Millie apologized and no one ever avenged the dead Americans. Made us look like a bunch of 🐈

@@ss454nova4he did but he made it pretty clear if they didn't keep up their end of the deal which included not randomly executing citizens, reprisals against our allies, stopping woman's rights to education and basic human rights etc. then the deal was off and the troops weren't going anywhere as soon as Biden was in power the Taliban knew there'd be no repercussions for their abhorrent actions he also was adamant about US instruments of war were not to be just abandoned and basically gifted to the Taliban....
I'm not the biggest fan of him but the withdrawal would have been nothing like the absolute tragedy that unfolded

Been an SRS viewer for years. Very eye opening to see the common disdain that all these hero’s have for the chain of command. Coming from a military aged male who wants to fight for good; I appreciate these real, raw and thought invoking stories.

I think people need to realize that those in power don't have the average persons best interest in mind. We have lost complete control of government, it's a new world now. They make the rules, they set who the rules apply to, they set who benefits, the rest of us have to suffer and pay the price.

Unfortunately it was Trump who signed the agreement to withdraw out of Afghanistan back in February 2020.

Saw 50 executed. If you understand nothing about war understand that watching innocents die as a soldier is worse than a combatant dying. I'm no soldier but I've heard stories from many many service members. At least a soldier/combatant signed up for it. Truly no one loses in war more than civilians.

How do you "secure" an entrance to an airport mobbed by civilians with a suicide bomber in it's midst? Biden did surge 4,000 troops into Afghanistan to help with the evacuation. Trump had only left 2,500 in Afghanistan.

I heard another military member tell a story of parents throwing their infant over the fence so they could have a better life, but what they did not know behind that fence/wall was barbed wire in the infants were getting pretty much decapitated once they got thrown over the wall by their parents
