Saw this video a while ago and just recently decided to do a DEX build and can't keep my hands off of unsheathe. Going from Maining a zweihander to a katana... I have been unsheathed! The Ascension into light roll samurai shodown over the top style kills is nothing short of amaze balls. video good.
Unsheathe is very versatile since you can use any infusion on the weapon it's on which makes it useful on almost any build. If you want to maximise weapon and weapon art damage you can get 80 dexterity and use a keen Nagakiba. In the video I mostly use a flame art infused uchigatana with a good amount of faith and in the end I even make use of sorceries with the moonveil and high intelligence. I personally like going into faith with 60 vigor, 20-25 mind, enough endurance to wear whichever armour you like and 20-40 dexterity since dex also improves casting speed and is maxed out at 40+30 from the radagon icon. Having faith gives you access to golden vow, flame grant me strength, various defensive buffs and some weapon buffs too if you don't want to infuse your weapon with an element (I personally like black flame blade with the old lord's talisman for ng+). The godslayer's seal has the highest potency from 27-68 faith and boosts black flame incantations so it's what I usually use. As for talismans Alexander's Shard is really good other than that you can go with whatever you like. I like running the Dragoncrest Shield Talisman, Old Lord's talisman and Dagger talisman since it's easy to stance-break with unsheathe but the Carian Filigree Crest, (great-jar) arsenal charm, Erdtree's favour, ritual sword/shield talisman, millicent's prosthesis, radagon icon and even any scorpion charm are also great choices depending on how you like to play. You can even pair unsheathe with a greatshield with the 'no skill' Ash of War if you want heavy armour/ more endurance and I had a lot of fun experimenting with all kinds of build ideas around Unsheathe, so first and foremost I recommend trying out whatever seems fun to you!
I m on my first playthrough and I just cant like any other when my default katana has such such op skill. Have defeated tree sentinal, margit and godrick which my katana unsheathe stagger
@@KrisCranks The stats I used for most of the video are briefly shown at 7:15 and not meant to be taken very seriously. I had 40 dex and 69 faith/ int and generally a pretty even stat spread because I was experimenting with a lot of different build ideas and didn't want to respec every time. You can just use the infusion that works best for your build on unsheathe since it doesn't restrict you in that way and the damage of the weapon art is based on AR so I would go for 80 faith for a flame art/ sacred infusion. The reason I had 40 dex was because it allowed me to reach maximum casting speed with the radagon icon when I paired it with sacred seals/ glintstone staffs. The purpose of this video is to show off some interesting tech I found with unsheathe so if you got the impression that I was presenting optimal build ideas that is not the case

that last hit before the phase transition is the coolest fucking thing I have seen
I staggered Godskin Noble out of his roll with one of those
1:28 is cold 🥶
Wait why is this so good
0:32 that bleed right as she's about to start waterfowl is crazy timing
"Your strength.... extraordinary" - Chad Samurai: Ma'am this is a DEX build.
Loved every second of it. Pure class.
i am now about to nerd my way through a playthrough with the Moonveil again. I miss this thing
Same here, man. Love that weapon.
Bro this is so underrated wtf?!
Now that the Deflecting Hardtear is in the game, canceling unsheath into a perfect guard into guard counter sounds like a fun time
You bet it is!
nah man this is insane wtf. This blew my mind. You made my day
Your seal, extraordinary...
Pretty wild Unsheathe got a buff in the DLC with Rellana's Cameo Talisman. Would recommend giving it a try sometime. Also pretty great video!
you have inspired me to emulate this build. simple, effective, so fun and rewarding.
Drawing the wakizashi and going Niten Ichiryuu mode as she goes into phase two is like "Yeah, I have a stage 2 as well!"
More Tutorials plz.
Well.... more useful and fun video then oroboro's and other "pvp-guru".... good job!
0:53 damn
You really like samurais. Good video!!
This was great! How would you build this on a ~150RL for PVE?

@@benevolentduck9598 thank you kindly for such great video and explanation. Wishing you the best, mate, cheers!
I just switched from blood affinity to flame art only to find out how much more damage flame art does with unsheathe…
I set up a badass unsheathe heavy attack that staggered Godskin Noble out of his fatty roll
I have been using unsheathe incorrectly.
I m on my first playthrough and I just cant like any other when my default katana has such such op skill. Have defeated tree sentinal, margit and godrick which my katana unsheathe stagger
Awesome video, can u give me the name of virgil body armor?
I used the Blue Silver Mail Armor and the Preceptor's Trousers
@@benevolentduck9598 Thx 💙
Bro can you make a video talking about Vergil build? Please
Can u show up the build 😩
5:34 You are one funny dude.
and I don't laugh that much.
what the hell was this video, anyways thanks youtube for the good recommendation. Also, watching this made me miss having a katana parry like in DS3.
Blocking to instantly cancel sheathing huh? Wait, that's illegal!
Kenshin would be proud.

15 faith whats even going on
Look up ng+ 7 lvl 150 some Chinese guy will show you how it’s done, even he has like 14 int don’t worry
