I think a really fun Controlled Burn build would be Charon+Lucid Gain+Giga Cleaver if you can swing it and just nuking everyone with stacked-on super-Specials that instantly give you back all your magic. Couldn't think of a trivia for this one, so if anyone wants to ask a question about the mythos or game lore, I'll use that as my inspiration for what to do my trademark yapping about.
@@thesenate8268 The idea that Heph built automatons regularly actually comes from Homer himself. In the Iliad, Homer actually mentions that Heph built automatons to help him walk, including mechanical golden stools and robotic handmaidens to help him around the forge. Later, in The Odyssey, he mentions that Hephaestus showed his favour to the king Alkinoos by supplying it with robotic dogs and lions to guard its walls. The Hades devs simply conflated these ideas and had it so that if he could build guard robots and had robots helping him in the Forge on Olympus, logically he would have guard robots built for Olympus itself. I think the weird little ring-shaped enemies are a nod to his mechanical stools in particular, given they have a very similar shape and size. Apollonius Rhodius in his story of Jason and the Argonauts, Argonautica, recounts that Heph gave Medea's dad, the King of Colchis, a set of fire-breathing bulls with bronze hooves and mouths, which in some traditions were entirely made out of metal and automated. Nonnus in his epic poem Dionysiaca about the travels of Dionysus recounts that these bulls were made entirely of bronze, and that Heph had also built a pair of fire-breathing horses made out of bronze for two of his demigod sons. Glad we don't have to fight any of those, eh? Finally, Talos himself, largest and most infamous of the Greek automatons, was said to have been constructed by Hephaestus in one tradition recorded by Pseudo-Apollodorus in his Bibliotheca, a gathering of Greek myths compiled during the Roman occupation era. This is the most commonly accepted take on his origin in the modern era (in ancient times it was more popular to say he was descended from an early race of humans who were made out of bronze), and the game confirms that Heph built him in this continuity. In all versions Talos is a giant man made out of bronze who guarded the island of Crete until Medea destroyed him with a curse targeting his vulnerable ankle, and in Hades he has been taken from Crete and rebuilt by Heph after his destruction so he can guard Olympus from intruders.
My only issue with dark side is that the base attack is just so weak, boring to use, and unsatisfying to land. I don't like attacks that just lock you in place when movement is the most fun part of Hades. You're immune anyway, why not let you move while attacking at the same time or something idk
Well people will instintly still dogde even when they're immune so i guess its locks you down to know that hex is still on. i hold attack and mash space and when it runs out i auto dash to know that it ended and also avoid getting hit not since its such a screen Noise move.
The reason why the Olympus Mid shop came so late is because you took side rooms in the city this video. You are likely just used to using the timer so much that you really don’t have time to take those side rooms. Thus it messes up your room count.
Another title W from Boated, also nice run Edit: I also just realized that it probably is intentional that Posidon and Selene have such good synergy; the moon pushes and pulls the ocean after all
Goated Boated🙌🙌🙌 really fun video. Thanks for the laughs. Qq: Would you have any suggestions for Poseidon improvements? I always thought it was a skill issue on my end but to see a good player also hate his boons was reliving. I think in general Hades 2 feels like certain gods don’t really synergize as well. I think every god should have a duo akin to hestia/aphro and change the item and omega locked duos to infusion and tier 2 boon respectively.
Give him better support boons, better duos, make the waves either not knock the enemy back or actually stun them because currently they are only stunned when hit by your weapon not the waves so you get hit quite a bit due to that, so taking away the knock back or giving them stun would make the waves much safer
@@Boat3d yesss!! they need to add you to the production team lol. and Thanks for replying man, means a lot and your vids are a highlight to a lot of peoples days🙌
@wildstorm3486 I really mean solar ring, like the damage happens when the cast ends and geyser spout ends the cast early. So theoretically you could spam the cast?
That title is pure poetry
Lets go!

Maybe I’ll give that a try! Never feel pressured to always do trivia, I appreciate you commenting and watching the videos either way!
How do automatons fit into the lore do you think?

i was getting bothered by the lack of poms on the attack until suddenly air quality comes along and instantly makes the poms irrelevant lmao
The game had my back

Does geyser spout work with solar ring?
With Solar Ring? Yes
You are most likely thinking of Prominence Flare. Which cannot be combined with Geyser spout.

@@apenasumbotp7788yes I do believe that’s how the interaction between Geyser Spout and Solar Ring Works.
Yeah that works
