I reckon I would weld the hole that was made by the stud puller. The one where you can see the filler coming through. You will only have grief in the future if you don’t. You’re doing a great job 🙂.
The filler you see in those holes were do years ago by someone this is where the side trim went. This is not the original door they do need to be welded in though
ah yes the ol pipe n rubber baby bumper trick with thumb dolly bonus footage. well done, that sucker is gonna be straight with a little mud n sand paper.
Thanks! I've learned a lot from watching your videos, all of them. Probably the most important lesson I've learned is that slow and stead wins the race. I have a 74 C10 and have tried some minor dent repair that turned out pretty good, but would have been better if I hadn't gotten carried away and beat the hell out of it first. I've never seen it posted, but are you a body man by trade or is this something you picked up on your own?

I’m in construction work by trade never done body work before until I started working on these old trucks still a lot to learn

Steve do you own a palm nailer. You could make different inserts for the driver but might be too deep for inside the door
No, do not own a palm hammer afraid I would do damage with that

No I would not recommend that too much of a crease and dent
Do what are you doing making a driver beater or full blow finished truck let us know.
I’m Not going all out with this truck just a driver hopefully get this engine running soon
