Everyone talks about Tyler Carter and shit, but Ben's little synth lines during the breakdowns are what made me love this album, just like at 3:03. Also his lows are sick also!
People only recognize tyler, which is why them love WIM. I'm not arguing with you, he's an incredible singer. His voice sends chills down my spine. But, the rest of the band is amazing too. The drummer can play with great speed, control, and keep the beat, and the guitarists/bassists sound beautiful. Mike's screams are dead-on, and the keyboards add a great effect to already amazing music. So recognize and love the whole band, not just Tyler.

i still think woe is me is good with the new lineup, but they will never compare to this woe is me. numbers was completely original, great musicianship, and tylers voice was amazing
@ohhaijohn Screamo (or skramz as it's commonly referred to by fans) is an offshoot of hardcore-punk with bands like Saetia, Orchid, pg.99, etc. Most Post-Hardcore and Metalcore bands are mistakenly called screamo just because it has screaming in it. This band is Metalcore.
@KikoMon808 i clearly do, they all have the same tempo and the same breakdown in all the songs minus hell or high water/I/ if not for ourselfs. take another listen to delinquents, same breakdown (VERY similar) 5 times in one song.

The first half of the album is not as intricate and unique as the second half, except for maybe Mannequin Religion. Not saying the first half isn't unique at all, I just think songs like For The Like Of You or I or If Not, For Ourselves are under appreciated as compared to songs like [&] Delinquents or Keep Your Enemies Close

The whole album is a masterpiece and is the best album ever made in the history of mankind BUT there are just certain songs, certain moments within this album as it goes along, that REALLY stand out as emotional & deep. The epic, PASSION in the music & in particular, Tyler's voice when he sings those specific high moments, really makes you feel something more than the rest. Delinquents was great. The first song I ever heard from them but is more standard fare in comparison to the opening of mannequin, the opening and climax of for the likes of you, the entirety of if not, for ourselves, the climax of hell or high water.
check out the drummers first project. of machines. he wanted to go this direction with that band but it caused issues so he left. then the band broke up. if the drummer and dylan anderson from of machines hadnt had issues with each other he probably couldve gotten him to replace tyler. or bennet to replace bohn and the band woulda still worked had he not been a dick.

@Hypnotix87 I listen to what they say in the songs, if i dont understand them, i go look at the lyrics. Every song by BMTH, PTV,WIM, TDWP etc, etc, have stories with deep meaning behind them. Thats what makes these bands amazing, is the fact that they have true meaning to them and they are pure from the heart...... Haters can hate, but until they really understand these Artists they have no room to judge
