god, I love the harmonies at around the 1 minute mark. More metalcore needs that shit. It's so good.
I can't help but notice, a few years later...admittedly, if you pay close attention the way the vocals and the guitar work @01:43....the harmonies were already their man....its a good one though, cant lie.
It just happens to be the end of a bridge from another band.

A lot of people also forget that the lead guitarist on Number[S] tim sherrill was a big part of their old sound. It is a shame he left after their first tour:/
People forget those melodic guitar leads meshed with Tyler’s vocals was the icing on the cake

The first time I heard this song it scared the shit out of me. And I listen to Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, whitechapel, it's not because it's heavy. It's just the way the song is, I still get chills.
I swear that breakdown at 2:14 just gets me.
This is the song I love. When I saw them the first time I was all the way up front and one of the only people to know them. Mike saw me singing along at the start of the show. This was their last song and when the breakdown came in he walked over to me, leaned over onto the fence right in my face and me and him screamed the last breakdown together. I talked with him and Ben for about an hour after the show.

Why's everyone all bummed about Tyler leaving. He just didn't wanna do it anymore. Be happy that he at least contributed to a successful band and don't be selfish of it by asking "I wonder if they'll be good." or "Why Tyler?!" Read his statement.

All I can think about is how this song wont work without Tyler. How can such a talented band who came in and completely DOMINATED the hardcore scene suffer a loss that makes them so unique? This honestly saddens me. But. I just hope the rest of the band can keep their act together and continue to dominate..

@ReprogrammedToHate I do love Of Machines, but I truly believe Woe, Is Me were on another level with this album. I think that if As If Everything Was Held In Place was produced differently, it'd be pretty close to this...

I'd love it if issues sort took some of the songs from this album and rerecorded them. Since Tyler and Michael wrote them. That's just me tho lol
the guitar and drummer are way more advanced than the ones on issues you can tell but a rerecording is possible.

@TheCameronito What sad news. This band was so unique and on their way to becoming huge names in the hardcore scene (as if they weren't already) and now this. I hope the band stays together and keeps making music but how can they continue without Carter? He was such a key part of this amazing band...
