I can't help but notice, a few years later...admittedly, if you pay close attention the way the vocals and the guitar work @01:43....the harmonies were already their man....its a good one though, cant lie. It just happens to be the end of a bridge from another band. Woe is me is still great, I don't think they stole it. I'm just pointing it out...don't kill the messenger.
A lot of people also forget that the lead guitarist on Number[S] tim sherrill was a big part of their old sound. It is a shame he left after their first tour:/
The first time I heard this song it scared the shit out of me. And I listen to Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, whitechapel, it's not because it's heavy. It's just the way the song is, I still get chills.
This is the song I love. When I saw them the first time I was all the way up front and one of the only people to know them. Mike saw me singing along at the start of the show. This was their last song and when the breakdown came in he walked over to me, leaned over onto the fence right in my face and me and him screamed the last breakdown together. I talked with him and Ben for about an hour after the show. Amazing guys.
@xxmrcoolmanxx I admit there's not talent in chugging, nor originality in chugging. But the melodies of the lead guitar and the singing vocals in this are bewildering.
Why's everyone all bummed about Tyler leaving. He just didn't wanna do it anymore. Be happy that he at least contributed to a successful band and don't be selfish of it by asking "I wonder if they'll be good." or "Why Tyler?!" Read his statement.
All I can think about is how this song wont work without Tyler. How can such a talented band who came in and completely DOMINATED the hardcore scene suffer a loss that makes them so unique? This honestly saddens me. But. I just hope the rest of the band can keep their act together and continue to dominate..
@ReprogrammedToHate I do love Of Machines, but I truly believe Woe, Is Me were on another level with this album. I think that if As If Everything Was Held In Place was produced differently, it'd be pretty close to this...
7 person band or not, whatever their doing is sure as fuck keeping them unreal! Fucking love these guys, they are going to be the next big metal band, already on punk goes pop with all the other big bands like AA! (Y)
@xxmrcoolmanxx That's abit ironic, seeing as I put them over AA... And don't bother going: OH BUT THEY'RE POST-HARDCORE, Woe, Is Me are close enough to PHC.
i'm the one who haunts her dream[s]. woe is me needs to comeback to michigan. last week they played at warped tour. and they were amazing. before their set i hung out with Michael and Cory at their merch tent. such cool guys.
@TheCameronito What sad news. This band was so unique and on their way to becoming huge names in the hardcore scene (as if they weren't already) and now this. I hope the band stays together and keeps making music but how can they continue without Carter? He was such a key part of this amazing band...
Genesis is by another band, if you think about it, all the ones that have played in Number[s] are gone, except of 1 or 2. Woe, Is me is just the name, not the substance
This is a great song man It's really dope. Like the singer has a really nice voice NO Homo though. I lik them a lot kinda reminds me of That's Outrageous a little bit
I definitely prefer the old Woe, Is Me. over the new W,IM. I still like them and all, it is just I think they were MUCH better with Tyler Carter. & I fucking loovvvee this song.(: you, Tyler Carter, are fucking amazing with an angelic voice. W,IM. will never be as good as it was with you!! (:
@araxrokkxjonas The singer, no? Sucks because he was what got me into the music. If not for him, I prolly wouldn't have realized how well the rest of the music comes together.
one of the most underrated albums of this generation in my opinion
dude... you are 100% right. fuck the clout this was straight talent
im here from the future to say ur right and this has aged so well
god, I love the harmonies at around the 1 minute mark. More metalcore needs that shit. It's so good.
I can't help but notice, a few years later...admittedly, if you pay close attention the way the vocals and the guitar work @01:43....the harmonies were already their man....its a good one though, cant lie.
It just happens to be the end of a bridge from another band.

I'm just pointing it out...don't kill the messenger.
Agreed.
A lot of people also forget that the lead guitarist on Number[S] tim sherrill was a big part of their old sound. It is a shame he left after their first tour:/
People forget those melodic guitar leads meshed with Tyler’s vocals was the icing on the cake
@@OfArtesianOfficial completely agree, beautiful combination. It’s a shame they never made another album with this lineup

The first time I heard this song it scared the shit out of me. And I listen to Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, whitechapel, it's not because it's heavy. It's just the way the song is, I still get chills.
I swear that breakdown at 2:14 just gets me.

I MISS WOE IS ME SO MUCH

I get chills at 0:50 every time I listen to this song.
AWESOME
the difference between Asking Alexandria and Woe Is Me. Woe Is Me is good.
@terriblynice they need to do another album already!!!! and make the songs longer, but they are epic either way!
I love this songg
Mannequin Religion is a masterpiece
I'd love it if issues sort took some of the songs from this album and rerecorded them. Since Tyler and Michael wrote them. That's just me tho lol
the guitar and drummer are way more advanced than the ones on issues you can tell but a rerecording is possible.
What have we become? Mere shadows....standing alone.
Inside and out.....
2017, adolescencia , esses caras marcaram
most creative song title everrrr
That akward moment where you cant figure out what your favorite song is off Number[s]
@ReprogrammedToHate I do love Of Machines, but I truly believe Woe, Is Me were on another level with this album. I think that if As If Everything Was Held In Place was produced differently, it'd be pretty close to this...

The Chariot owns this.
10 points for creativity
woah they're awesome :)
@TheSamztar Of Machines > Woe, Everyone is leaving. End of discussion.
@xxmrcoolmanxx That's abit ironic, seeing as I put them over AA... And don't bother going: OH BUT THEY'RE POST-HARDCORE, Woe, Is Me are close enough to PHC.
that's what i said when i first heard them (couple days ago) but there pretty new.
@moonwalker361 ...yeah! It's number 7, on the album!

Im tryin to download this song and it wont come up is their another name for it
I miss this woe is me, nothing's the same and issues just isn't good
Headspace was good but Numbers just won't be topped.

Wrong and dumb on so many levels
i'm the one who haunts her dream[s]. woe is me needs to comeback to michigan. last week they played at warped tour. and they were amazing. before their set i hung out with Michael and Cory at their merch tent. such cool guys.

ilovetheintro
They used to be, now they've fallen apart.
Is it necessary to have 7 people in a band? I love the music though!
L. I love it.
you sound like a great person
Ending was the best part
how is it that i never heard this song before..
Is this also anyone else's favourite song off the album ?
@HTSvids yea, kevins still there
Aw, how cute... you're still a kid.
That explains everything... I remember my first beer.
@harshserf2 I think they will. He's one member. Not the entire band, ya get me?
@Toadoe7 They do? o:
Omg I can't find it D:
@MrSuperjerk64 you really live up to your username
Its good to find a comment like that nowawdays.
Genesis is by another band, if you think about it, all the ones that have played in Number[s] are gone, except of 1 or 2.
Woe, Is me is just the name, not the substance
No, Tyler Small is in a band called "In The Name Of"
This is a great song man It's really dope. Like the singer has a really nice voice NO Homo though. I lik them a lot kinda reminds me of That's Outrageous a little bit
Mother, Father Where have you been? Mother: just up the shop love, dont scream about it
Where can I buy this physical Cd
I remember hearing the Demo for this a Year ago.....
0:24 OF MICE & MEN!!!!!
@thedreadfultoybox i thought it was called "I."?
Does anyone else notice that it says "Woe, Is Me- 7." in the description?
favorite song by them. i miss tyler alot! but hance is good .
the trick is to search for "i" with quotation marks, otherwise yeah, it's pretty much impossible
Who's here 2019
They are all masterpieces. All equally as good... Except genesis
@ruinskatesforever1 Actually keyboardist is the second screamer.
@araxrokkxjonas The singer, no? Sucks because he was what got me into the music. If not for him, I prolly wouldn't have realized how well the rest of the music comes together.
