People say "Why can't woe is me sounds like this now?" But in all honesty I'm just so happy this album was at least made. I listen to this album all the time and I'm so grateful this album was at least able to be made by all the original members before they left. This album inspired me so much to follow my dreams in music, and no matter what it'll be here for inspiring musicians everywhere. This is by far the most inspirational album I own, because of the lyrics in every one of the songs.
I hope you followed that dream. Wherever you are in life now. I turn 30 tomorrow. I never followed mine.. And I regret the hell out of it. I have a really great voice. Just don't have the time now.
Man their singer can sing his ASS off!! Jonny Craig sings good too but their singer just goes hard. He's like the most talented singer I've ever heard in a hardcore band.
This song is part of the reason I was able to get through my hard times over the few years. I still sing it when I think of my grandmother and it takes the pain away. Guess why I'm here.
MrZooberryJr everyone has the right to say what they wanna say who the fuck are you to tell someone they don't have a right to an opinion and by the way i was sarcastic it was clearly a joke i love this band since they first released this album in 2010 this band is one of my favorites and wiil be one of my favorite bands ever i pefered this band over issues. Issues ain't even a bad band anyway don't know why people hate on it.woe is me is a band to remember for sure.
John Paul lmao you couldn't step to me in real life, which is besides the point. you got shut the fuck down which is why you're resorting to crying in youtube comments. The point is, dude that you comment replied to enjoyed the song and a line from the song and you reply to his comment with your ignorance and stupidity trying to kill everyones vibe. Make your own comment or shut the fuck up, in general. Don't try to bring other people down just because you're a miserable loser that can't stand other people having better taste than you lmao.
+brock graham YEAH BECAUSE TYLER CARTER IS BETTER HUEHUEHUE le epic trolled. no but honestly they do sound similar here but normally they don't. tyler's range is like much higher and poppy.
Buy the album in high quality and it's quite noticeable. There are multiple times where each other is leading and the other is being support. It's pretty much during every chorus. 2:25 - 2:28 That medium high can only be Jonny.
IM GOING TO MISS TYLER SO MUCH OMG :C legit cried when i found out he was leaving, but im proud of him that hes decided to follow his dreams. BUT STILL OMG :C will woe is me ever be the same? :CCCCC
Just kidding. Apparently Jonny IS on this song. I never really noticed it but listen @0:54 and on throughout that singing section, he does a lot of the backup vocals there.
Their voices are similar but really if you listen you can tell the difference. Carter's voice is a bit higher pitched and it really doesn't sound the same except during the vibrato when it sounds extremely similar
This is one of my favorite songs off Number[s], along with "If Not, For Ourselves" & "Desolate [The Conductor]" (& "Vengeance" if you count the Re-issue); SUCH a good album (my personal favorite actually); every song is a metaphoric masterpiece.
once upon a time....in a genre where almost every band sounds the same...came a band by the name of woe is me... i dont care what people say. these guys have there own sound. and tyler carter is an amazing singer...you dont see that much nowadays.
Its hard to really notice all of jonny's parts bc their voices are similar , but basically jonny sings all the way through the song. Just listen for the higher parts :D like when they say : who am i? , who the hell knows? ... jonny is the one saying who am i?
@AsianTylerr "And I'm slowly finding out, Life is full of bitter things I won't shed a tear even if it stings, " he also does harmonies and long notes during that verse.
There are only two original members left, and as I have heard, they're going to be leaving soon. It'll be an entire new Woe, Is Me. They'll never be the same.
@islesandglaciers1995 He's in two of their songs actually. And Craig Owens is the one who is Isles and Glaciers. Or at least that was orignally his side project. I don't know if Jonny Craig took over or not.
well that's okay with me i think i'll be fine, i don't need a shitty home to be on top of the line, this interstate is making me the prime example of what it means to follow your dreams.
Its ironic that Tyler Carter and Jonny Craig are both singing in this because Tyler Carter is going to be the next Jonny Craig ya know. Just listen to his voice compared to most other post-hardcore singers. Best one I've ever heard besides Jonny.
Woaaahh, people. lets not downgrade one of the best voices of our time, Tylers voice is good. But Jonny Craigs is the best, hands down. End of discussion. Flame me all you want for the comment. Nothing changes my opinion.
And just to tell anyone else who thinks Tyler is using auto tune, What your mistaking for auto tune is reverb effect and added backing vocals. So it's not anything different then a few people harmonizing together except its one persons voice. And those are techniques used in oh, I dont know.Almost any studio recorded song you can ever think of?Yes,I think so.
Ya I miss this a lot. I'm kind of shocked Issues is not like this, but I really like Issues and the new Woe Is Me. It just sucks both of them threw away this sound.
is Jonny Craig from Emarosa? the name sounds familiar and i think i heard something about him in that band. idk. w/e i cant tell where he comes in. Tyler's voice must sound alot like his haha
@MehsterChief uhhhh the fact that sky eats airplane's song "numbers" and this song "our numbers" sound similar i find ironic, because they share the same sound and title (practically). ironic- coincidental, unexpected.
I thought i was fucking hallucinating ... i just wanted to say that the singer is ripping of Jonny Craig big time , but turns out that it's Jonny himself ... i just adore his voice ... one of 3 fav. singers of all time ! BEEEEEEEEEEAST !!! I'm going to check this band just for this reason !!! =P
People say "Why can't woe is me sounds like this now?" But in all honesty I'm just so happy this album was at least made. Jonny has a pretty distinct voice I don't know how you can miss him
Right? I get they have the same style but the difference in their voice is night an day. Yall need to clean your ears out.
Exactly at 1:05 is when Jonny comes in.
and he says And I'm slowly finding out, Life is full of bitter things I won't shed a tear even if it stings
SOOOOOOOOOAP
RISING CHAIR THERE’S A MAN WHO HOLDS HIS GOAT
You can also hear Jonny at 1:08 as well.
2010 brought so much good music
UNTITLED _____ 2009*
The future in 2020 agrees with this comment
"tie my words around your neck, never forget" that part gave me chills
this song sucks
+John Paul music is subjective. don't go around imposing your opinion on others lmfaoo loser.
John Paul lmfao you just contradicted yourself in your own comment. shut the fuck up loser.
John Paul lmao you couldn't step to me in real life, which is besides the point. you got shut the fuck down which is why you're resorting to crying in youtube comments. These lyrics are just indescribable.
Jonny Craig and Tyler Carter... Together? Holy eargasm.
So, who misses this version of Woe, Is Me? Because Issues is not this, however I like them I still miss this
jonny craig and tyler carter have a very similar voice this confuses me so much
+Vittoria Skye i like tyler carter as a singe.r. but no way does he compare/sound similar to johnny.
+brock graham YEAH BECAUSE TYLER CARTER IS BETTER HUEHUEHUE le epic trolled. no but honestly they do sound similar here but normally they don't. tyler's range is like much higher and poppy.
I honestly can't see how they sound alike here.
Then again, I'm confident on my hearing when it comes to music
Buy the album in high quality and it's quite noticeable. There are multiple times where each other is leading and the other is being support. It's pretty much during every chorus.
2:25 - 2:28 That medium high can only be Jonny.
this is the exact reason i clicked on this song actually its funny that i read this comment lol
One hell of a good combination of the two singers.
End blew me away.
How come Woe, Is Me always gives Jonny only background vocals? He deserves way more than that with that voice.
Johnny Craig and Woe, Is Me, now thats what I call an eargasm.
Jonny Craig's voice makes me melt every time
IM GOING TO MISS TYLER SO MUCH OMG :C legit cried when i found out he was leaving, but im proud of him that hes decided to follow his dreams.
BUT STILL OMG :C
will woe is me ever be the same? :CCCCC
I would kill to have Tyler or even Johnny's voice.. they are both so amazing!
Still bumping in 2017
I will never get tired of listening to these guys.
Am I the only person that likes them now and then? I love Issues, and I love Woe, Is Me. Is that a problem?
apparently i’m reliving my teen years cause i am LOVIng this (again)
like literally 10 years later oof
Just kidding. Apparently Jonny IS on this song. I never really noticed it but listen @0:54 and on throughout that singing section, he does a lot of the backup vocals there.
and at 1:08 "life is full of bitter things"
i meant "and i'm slowly finding out"
1:06*** oh fuck.
2:09 - 2:33
That's nearly all Jonny
Matt W that sounds like tyler Dx
Carter and Craig are incomparable.
Omg Jonny ♥
awesome voice combinations
Numbers is one of the most common song names amongst bands of this genre, and Woe, Is Me just blew all of them out of the water
@Shellsonimperial
You are right. I feel that the word alive does it the best.
i love woe is me one of my favorite bands
remember jamming this on my mp3 going to school. #nostalgic
normally whenever Jonny Craig is featured in a song he usually puts the other singer to shame, but Tyler gives Jonny a run for his money.
0:00 SOOOAAAPP!!
amazing example of how great this style of music can be. there going to be at warped tour in august in carson.
2:09 eargasmic
They kick ass live.
Their voices are similar but really if you listen you can tell the difference. Carter's voice is a bit higher pitched and it really doesn't sound the same except during the vibrato when it sounds extremely similar
thi[s] i[s] number 8 in the album
damn this part is so good 2:09
You know you're a Jonny Craig fan if you can tell the vocal distinctions between him and Tyler Carter
This is one of my favorite songs off Number[s], along with "If Not, For Ourselves" & "Desolate [The Conductor]" (& "Vengeance" if you count the Re-issue); SUCH a good album (my personal favorite actually); every song is a metaphoric masterpiece.
All I want is Jonny to sing this song in their set at Warped Tour. That's what Warped Tour needs.
once upon a time....in a genre where almost every band sounds the same...came a band by the name of woe is me... i dont care what people say. these guys have there own sound. and tyler carter is an amazing singer...you dont see that much nowadays.
1:09 - 1:15 is Jonny idk where else, but that definately is
his voice tho
This song is everything xD
Its hard to really notice all of jonny's parts bc their voices are similar , but basically jonny sings all the way through the song. Just listen for the higher parts :D like when they say : who am i? , who the hell knows? ... jonny is the one saying who am i?
Jonny sings all the background parts, so all of the quieter background singing you can hear is Jonny
2019 anyone?
2020
@@TidesAndTidalWaves 2021
2:09-2:35 is oh my gosh-3
Thanks bro
Damn rockers were rocking that karen cut back then🤣🤣
cant wait to see them at Vans Warped Tour this summer. :3
why is jonny craig a great singer
Holy crap. 7 people
@AsianTylerr "And I'm slowly finding out,
Life is full of bitter things
I won't shed a tear even if it stings, " he also does harmonies and long notes during that verse.
@TheCameronito thanks for telling me, I feel honoured. Thank you for your kind words!
I like both albums but i love this one
There are only two original members left, and as I have heard, they're going to be leaving soon. It'll be an entire new Woe, Is Me. They'll never be the same.
@islesandglaciers1995 He's in two of their songs actually. And Craig Owens is the one who is Isles and Glaciers. Or at least that was orignally his side project. I don't know if Jonny Craig took over or not.
i love woe, is me with Jonny Craig
They sound so much alike, I couldn't tell when Jonny was singing.
well that's okay with me i think i'll be fine, i don't need a shitty home to be on top of the line, this interstate is making me the prime example of what it means to follow your dreams.
This Woe Is Me Is More Structured And Heavy
that's why they're both my favorite singers.
CAn anyone tell me when Jonny starts singing? They sound so alike I can barely tell
Its ironic that Tyler Carter and Jonny Craig are both singing in this because Tyler Carter is going to be the next Jonny Craig ya know. Just listen to his voice compared to most other post-hardcore singers. Best one I've ever heard besides Jonny.
Tyler and Jonny are the 2 best singers alive
#NUFSAID
Am i the only person who can actually tell the difference between Jonny's and Tyler's voices?
OMG , My baby's in this song
Is it just me or does this album sound really good synced as one song?
I love Jonny Craig's voice, solo or with a band. But it really goes well with metal core
Jonny 0:56 to 1:24
SUPA SICKK!
sick ass song...sick ass band
@br00talKidHxC what an amazing comeback
Woaaahh, people. lets not downgrade one of the best voices of our time, Tylers voice is good. But Jonny Craigs is the best, hands down. End of discussion. Flame me all you want for the comment. Nothing changes my opinion.
I almost shit myself when i saw that Jonny Craig is featured in a wim song!!!!!!!!
0:54 When both vocals scream to the skies.
He sings at 1:10.
Day 37, water supplies low, and moral is down, still no sign of blessedwithapizza's comment....
Ya I miss this a lot. I'm kind of shocked Issues is not like this, but I really like Issues and the new Woe Is Me. It just sucks both of them threw away this sound.
@MehsterChief Sky Eats Airplane doesn't have an album titled "numbers"
is Jonny Craig from Emarosa? the name sounds familiar and i think i heard something about him in that band. idk. w/e i cant tell where he comes in. Tyler's voice must sound alot like his haha
@islesandglaciers1995 I thought Jonny Craig was only guest vocals on this song?
@YourShitsWeak18 nah dude, they released on the DTBM2 facebook that a new song will be released next week from the album. which drops march 8
Jonny Craig must have a thing for Woe Is Me lmaoo
where is jonny craigs parts they sound so similar i cant tell a difference?
they were amazing, and they still are, with or without tyler
this song is
"DOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE"
I guess they labeled it wrong. Jonny Craig is on Desolate [The Conductor] not this song.
He is. He trades lines with Tyler in the first half of the song.
He's on both. This one is harder to hear him in.
you should listen to Naenia. If you like woe is me and jonny craig, you'll love naenia. search them on purevolume. For realllll!
yes
2:42 breakdown breakdown breakdown HOLY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT NOISE!? breakdown breakdown breakdown
Hell yea
@ThaRipper58 i know right it took me a couple times to hear him
@drkn974 did you come up with that? ive never heard that before...
