Digging the 1500 steps. I think the color is fine as is. Maybe up close it looks different in person, especially if there's a difference in texture. I think it looks good though.
Just checked now on line and the 2500 HD Duramax boards are the same price as the 1500s damn it! Oh well. I have to keep the DEF tank so I'm looking into a relocation kit for it that puts the new flat tank over on the fuel tank side. Either way you did show me what I want to see - steps that fit flush while also getting out of the way of the front tire! Perfect! (Now - to find the best DEF aftermarket re-location kit. If you know of one or someone that's used it - please give me a reply! THANKS MAN for the Perfect Vid!)
I have a question. I just put on the 1500 steps. And did the obd2 option instead of taking the doors apart. Got everything hooked up. Nothing works. Steps tightened up in the down position. Step Lights don't come on with door open.. Hooked up to the passenger side battery like the directions said. Do I need to hook it to drivers side battery?
I kinda want this dirtymax and I’m not a big Chevy guy and I have a obs ford and the don’t make theses for my truck but they say 99-06 serria steps will work for my truck cause I like going on back roads and I don’t want them sticking out and getting wrecked which on would be best 1500 or 2500 ?
So you can run 1500 amps on 2500hd concrete queens? What about a bone stock 2500hd that actually sees work, dirt, bigger bumps than backing out of the drive way?

Would the boards from the diesel steps bolt onto the motors of the 1500/2500? Then you keep the full length.

Do your driveshaft the same color as the suspension you are putting on.
So would you u recommend the amp XL for a 9 inch lift or does the regular amp power step work just as good with bigger lifts

When I called amp, they said only 14+ trucks have OBD II Plug and play capability

Why not go with AMP power steps they improved on the others with dual motors are stuff. Personally think it's a better build quality.
