I think this needs 2 more years to bake. It's pretty rough, but I do see potential.
Unless they do a sequel. If sales go right and have a lot of incomes, then a sequel might have even a huge development.

The graphics look super outdated but I heard this was a small company so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because everything else looks interesting
at least isn't manipulative like NBA2K24
and we all know that better graphics mean releasing the game half completed and the rest being developed as season passes for years and years

Square Enix should make the true final fantasy versus xiii/xv Nomura's version, tho I do respect how reynatis and verum rex are clear inspirations from versus xiii and are better then nothing I suppose.
Nomura needs to leave SE and just make Versus on his own. I'll help

This game looks like a modern Dreamcast game. Something about the art style and the animations. Like Sonic Adventure or something, it's really hard to explain what I'm seeing. 😂

I find it a little ironic that everybody's dunking on this comparing it to a PS2 game while conveniently forgetting that the PS2 arguably has the greatest library in all of PlayStation.

This looks like a PS2 game that hastily got an HD Remake for the PS3.
There is a update: Nomura is going to help them with the Game probably. The Devs had a interview with him. Maybe he is going to save that game. Because it has really potential to become something really big.

I wouldn’t mind if this game is a tribute to PS2 Square titles, but considering the characters don’t blend too well with the background, it looks unfinished.
This looks really, really bad. I know a lot of people throw out "this looks like a PS2 game." This is one of the few games that I honestly agree with that observation.
