I like that Spiralite is utilizing the spiral wrap method. I first heard about this process from an interview with Gary Loomis who also talked about using the spiral wrap method on rods. Awesome job!!
Jake Zed The one you have may not work for casting, pitching and skipping. Spiralite makes a series of bass fishing rods designed specifically for casting, pitching and skipping. We have some vids up on Instagram of using them for just that. Cheers!
Fish Recon okay, I was just curious. Mine is an ice fishing rod, and it works for jigging and is really good for fighting fish with. I just don’t see how you can make far casts while the line loses energy while spiraling around the blank, and how it would effect accuracy.
Jake Zed The line actually loses less energy due to having fewer eyelets. We have tested it out pretty extensively and it is a noticeable difference. Farther casts, accuracy the same and less stress on arms and wrists.
I have a 7' 2'' MH Spiralite rod and love it. Have caught some big fish on it. Have a TH-cam channel and talked about this rod there. Spiralite hit me up could use a few more rods. FLC..
Sorry, but this concept isn’t new or cutting edge. This spiral guide wrap came out way back in ‘95. As a matter of fact, Texas Boat World had a few of these rods for sale during that time period. And the idea was the exact same. I cant wait for another “cutting edge” concept for the guide-less rod to hit the market...again
@@GaryKeyFishing Great to know a new thing for baitcasting , thanks for posting.Id like to ask , does spiral wrap guides make any difference regarding casting distance?
That was good stuff. I’m always looking for vids to show people the benefit of spiral wrapping and the demonstration at the end is perfect.

thats why you need to find the spline of the blanks prior to building the rod.
I have a heavy ice fishing rod with spiral guides, and I like it, but I don’t see how it would work for casting, pitching, skipping, etc

Do they make a spiral wrap for fisherman? 12’ or more?
Andrew Powers They do not currently have one that long. What application would you be using it for? Thanks!

Fischize Thanks. We never said it was new. Acid wrap has been around for years in salt water. Started out west.

Not a noticable difference imo but people say it does increase distance
Did you watch the video? He said it wasn't new technology.
