Nicely done. Good explanation and demonstration. No useless banter, you don't try to be funny, you don't say "basically" every other word, and get right to business.
You need to show what it's really like. Dropping a couple washers into the vent and having to climb down to get replacements. Have your 3/8" socket roll away and have to crawl to get it. I also did a couple upgrades that make the installation look a bit more professional. I bought the black covers so I painted all the hardware black to match the covers. I used nylon lock nuts instead of the lock washers, those bad boys will never vibrate loose.
I am actually thinking I am going to install this outside my brick house's guest bathroom window which overlooks another house (it is a small window) so I can get some privacy while window is open. The vent side will face down course.
Neither of my vents are easily accessible from the side. Is it ok (generally) to put weight on the roof to get these installed? The RV place wants $65 to install them. I would think they have to be on the roof too..... help!!
I want to get one of these and not install a vent. I have a very small camper 4x8 I need just one spot so I can sit with my head up. If I sit on the floor I have head room but if It sit with a stool my head has to be bent over that will cause a pain in my neck. I priced a clear dome they are $60 That should work but If I can see out they can see in?
I'd feel way more comfortable if these included locking nuts or lock washers. Without it, it seems like your asking for the fasteners to loosen up on you.
Major PROBLEM!! If you do not lay some type of exterior foam under the vent, or caulk it to the roof, as the regular vent is sealed, you will find tiny debris in your screen that comes from under the vent cover. Don't like looking up and seeing leaf particles! ; )

Thanks for the video. I’m a lot more confident making this purchase knowing that I can easily install this myself. Thanks again 🇺🇸
Thanks for making this installation easy.
Moisture and condensation can get trapped in RVs. Vents like this help promote air circulation which helps reduce moisture and condensation.
Got it installed in no time. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions!
Thanks for the great video! A must have for RV'ers.

Do you put caulking around the finished edges of the air vent cover?
no
It's not that easy laying on that rubber roof..
