I find your tutorials to be crazy awesome. You are like the Bob Ross of quilting...make a little boo boo? Just stitch around that boo boo and make it a happy little part of the design. I love it!

I hadn’t looked at it like that but being a bob ross lover too, you’re 100% right. That’s why I love Angela’s tutorials, she never makes a mistake, just a potential echo. *wink*

Thanks for the part on common errors. My knots tend to slant. Now I know to practice keeping the point on each end of the knot straight.

I love your quilting videos including of course The Midnight Quilt Show. One video I'd love to see is Graffiti Quilting- you know where you throw a whole bunch of different designs together just blending them in- you include it in your free motion meandering book but would love to see you actually quilting it. I've tried it but seem to get stuck on what to do next. Love you girl you do such a great job. Wendy Quilts

Something about this makes me think of the song (based on the Winston Churchill quite) that goes “if you’re going through hell, keep on going, don’t slow down, if you’re scared don’t show it, you might get out before the devil even knows you’re there.” 😂 But it makes sense. I need to force myself to keep going when I make mistakes, fill in the best I can and focus on the big picture.

I have some questions. So I’ve been quilting now for about 5 years and I’ve either done stitch in the ditch or I’ve tied off my quilts. I’m really wanting to learn free motion but I’m really “scared” about doing it. My questions are
1: where in a quilt do you start quilting? Like do you start in the middle of a block or do you start on a corner of the quilt? Or maybe you start off the quilt?
2: what do you do when your bobbin runs out? How do you pick up where your left off?
3: how do you know to space your lines in the quilting?
4: if you’re quilting a pattern, for example you are “echoing” how do you go to quilt an area that you’ve past, but not quilted, to continue quilting without having to stop and start?
5: how do you know when you’ve quilted enough?
See, now you know why I’m scared to free motion quilt.
