Deck gun ???? Why pull three hand lines when you have a water supply and can just fill it with the deck gun??? The slowest fire department ever to pull hand lines on structure fires but they’ll pull the hell out of them on a dumpster!!!
Agreed with some of the other comments…secure a good water supply and deck gun this fire and call it good. Some say, “well then the company can’t pick up the dumpster afterwards.” Not our problem. They will figure it out. The dumpster is more than likely scrap metal now anyway. Also, besides the obvious of a structure fire, vehicle and dumpster fires have some of the most nasty and “unknowns” type of smoke. Mask up.
Cutting into the rubbish containers seemed to me to be completely unnecessary and destructive. The containers are someone’s property, after all. Surely, filling them with water and drowning the fuel source would have been more thorough and cleaner? Presumably, a lot of this rubbish would have been dragged out of the containers, where eventually it would travel all over an already filthy city?
Put an open butt 2-1/2” in each debrie box at a low pressure and fill them up to the top……..that method has worked for years
Nice stuff, love the new helmets!
Great catch.

You're a idiot
I like the idea of the deck Gun but I’m wondering if you could get it elevated enough so u could hit the seat of the fire with a straight tip.
@@juliemodun4149 No need to hit the seat of the fire in a dumpster. Just flood the dumpster full of water
it would be a good idea if there wasn't so much smoke
Awesome video
Great video
Too bad they can't defend themselves without getting fired. They have the tools on the Engine and Truck.
not sure why they're cutting it... you could just pump the dumpster full of water

Good up close video. With the reported shortage of transport ambulances, was M10 and A810 quickly released?
They were released because they were no longer needed

does there scba not work cause they must know everything about what in that dumpster to not be on air.
That's a good point I'm not sure why they don't mask up unless they're going interior on a structure fire
Let’s do this the the hardest, least effective, and most dangerous way possible.
Ummm what?
@@crewleaderprods You know exactly what JBart3112 is referring to.

Open the hose bail on the transient next time he gets aggressive. Their kryptonite is soap and water.
😂
Nice on scene footage and coverage! And Great Catches!
Why two ambulances to a garbage fire?
Because they activated a task force response and that is what responds
When did LAFD start wearing traditional helmets and not Phenix helmets?
Why does LA still run Engine and Pumper?
No pumpers in Sight. Only Engines, Trucks, Battalions, Ambulances and NOTHING Else.
Nice!
Your one word response is really lazy and pointless.
Cool!
Lazy and pointless response.
Typical lovely California. Dosnt matter if he got arrested or not, he'll be out in no time, probably burn a house down next time. Nice footage buff!
Thanks for watching!
