Hit the Tow Button/Turn Off the Overdrive Button When Towing

By depressing the tow button or the button that turns off the overdrive in SUVs and pickup trucks you will have a better driving experience when towing a trailer or heavy load. It's better for your transmission and provides more torque. Many people ignore this feature or don't understand it. Try it and I think you will be surprised at the results. I did. I was guilty of never using the feature for years.

Really the Trucks with Automatics have an advantage over Straight Gear trucks because of the mechanical advantage in the Torque Converter, One of our duallies has an over-under drive along with the automatic.... The best pulling one is the 2023 F350

The power of the new trucks is crazy. Unfortunately I am too poor for one of those. I have an older F350 dually with a 7.3. The button makes a difference for me.

the last new truck bought was when my Son was Drag Racing and needed a Truck to Pull the 40ft enclosed car trailer..... the year that Ford skipped a model Year 1997 to 1999, ... It is still here with a bunch of 1996s
