I just want to say that I was never interested in basketball until I saw Curry play.
But when I started watching Warriors game highlights, I realized the whole team is SOLID.
I still favor Curry more than others because he's not just about great 3 pointers. He's a play maker.

You see.. You can't blame the GS for having too many Superstars.. No one ever know whether steph, Klay and Green will be an NBA Allstar that time.. They've developed each one of them as time goes by.
draymond green wad a senoir 2nd round pick..no one saw him becoming a pass first dpoy all nba multiple time all star talent ..he played for his first 3 seasons making under 1 million dollars each year which minus taxes is less than half a million...and living in California means he really only made less than a million combined for 3 years lol...which means he must have had college money saved up to survive..or he lived in an apartment or with someone cause no way he bought a house for that low amount ...dudes life pre 2016 must of sucked ass ...he deserved to get paid ..he worked hard in that 2013 2014 and 2015 playoff runs and he was being paid ass cheeks pennies on the dollar ...hes well educated and graduated though so even if his nba career didnt work out he would have a job

Durrant *wanted* to play for Golden State--same as Iguodala. What are they supposed to say? "No thanks, Kevin" ? Never. Look up the story, Curry, Iguodala, & Durrant had decided back in 2011 or so that they were all going to join Golden State and followed through on it.

Honestly , I by am no means a warriors fan .... but this is what a team is supposed to be ..... all their players are excellent shooters and they have a good defense

Asmosis Jones look at the playoff team stats they turn up the defensive effort when the money is on the table , #1 defensive team during the playoffs 3 of the last 4 seasons, they know when it's time to put in work
Watching them rise over the last 7 or 8 years was the most fun and exciting time I think I will ever experience in sports. Watching a team go from the worst team of the NBA for decades to slowly become one of, if not the best team ever to play the game has been so amazing

GSW plays TOGETHER that within itself is their dealbreaker!!! A lot of teams want one or two people to only receive the ball on GSW EVERYONE receives the ball!!! That is the key to their wins vs losses!!
That's right, you build a Team with Drafted Players who come into their own as they mature finding their way then getting Free Agents and the people finding and selecting them and Coaches to guide them as they have for a long time.. Not just one or two NBA Players but a Team of Smart and talented one's.
Stats and talking heads not withstanding to watch a team move, pass, cut , shoot and be coached with such interaction and harmony is to get the beauty of basketball and get so much excitement, pleasure and joy from a great group of guys and their fans.
Mark Jackson was a big part of this..honed these once young guys to what they are now..guy deserves credit too

Unfortunately, Hollywood is in the West. Creative Videos like this are easily done by Californian NBA franchises. The propaganda machines works better for the rich western conference franchises like GSW and La Lakers. It will take years for small market franchise like Philadelphia 76ers, to make it work so well, because besides basketball talents(which Philly does have), you need a creative and stable front office(which Philly don't have) supported by visionary owner to make this work permanently like an well oiled machine!
Curry should take 80% of the credit. He was not only the best player in the league, but also brought out the best in everybody on that team.

Pre-Durant Warriors is better IMO. No isolations, better ball movement, everybody is involved with splash brothers taking over the offense. Now they have a problem with contracts, they will choose Durant if he wants to re-sign which sucks since Thompson deserves to get paid and stay a Warrior. Not even a GS fan.

I've been a Warriors fan since 89 and when the team was sold I remember during a ceremony during one of the games the fans were booing them. Rick Barry stood up for them because I believe it was during the time Monta Ellis was traded for Bogut and the fans didn't like it. Look at today at where the franchise is. Still believe they'll win a title again this year but they need a deeper bench.

Just great drafting with the salary cap in the NBA & the bird rights and all that making an elite NBA team is by far the hardest general managing job in sports.. you must draft right year after year then sign a star while u are in the process of drafting right year after year to make the numbers right.. it's a beautiful game with deep strategy even in offseason moves

I agree he instilled a defense first mentality and changed the culture...however I think after he did that, he held the team back the way he handled relationships with assistant coaches and his lack of offensive creativity....I hated to see him go, but I knew it was going to happen.

I am stunned, shocked, or in other words in disbelief, never and I do mean never would I have believed it. the last time I looked at the team the playing was still a question of coaching or big talent that got better after going to another team.So I come back after battling cancer to WTF happened to the only bay area pro sports team left that can't seem to be a postseason type team. so I thank you for this little recap on what looks to be nothing short of stupendous

I'm a real fan. I'm 11 and have been watching the warriors since the 12-13 season. Remember jumping up when seeing those intense battles against Blake Griffin and the clippers. Thats when I really started getting into basketball.
