The most glaring omission being ‘Gave it some jandle...’ That race finish - and interview put Scotty on the map. Many would argue that it was his greatest TV moment.

I remember that 2017 lap like it was yesterday! Never have I seen a whole track stand up and cheer like that! I was at McPhillamy and simply couldn’t believe the number! I honestly believe that it is better than his 2019 lap!
Absolutely and it was the last year of the Falcon as well :( Remember them taking a lot of rear wing off the car to try match the Holden in a straight line as well
@@bunky8077 that was 2018, but other than the year you are exactly right! 2017 those DJR Penske Falcons were by far the fastest cars, hence Scott’s domination of the second half of the season, Triple 8 just managed to hold on with consistency whilst Scotty got used to the car in the first half of the season.

When he said "dreamt of doing this since I was a kid", I remember being 8 years old sitting in class and Scott was doing show and tell(we were in the same class) he had a kmart racing Holden Commodore diecast, Murph one offcorse, and he was telling the class that when he grows up he wanted to race cars like this. Amazing to see that hes won it several times now.

Scotty was also the only driver to feature twice in Landos reaction video & Scottys other overtake got a 9.5 from the kid. Hope Scotty gets a seat in F1. Particularly McLaren with their New Zealand History. Would be awesome to see
I was at Bathurst, I said during the top ten shoot out Scotty will brake the lap record and I actually said " he will do a 203.8 " and a jury of my peers called bullsit. After he crossed the finish line I said "told ya". What a talent as a statement, is an understatement
