Was only a couple of years ago think a goldfish probably would even remember imagine Scott and Shane as a wildcard at Bathurst even after this long out after practice they'd be both at the top in a dieing category
I remember the year Whincup Trashed Scotty’s fabulous Volvo V8 run with an extremely dangerous redress manoeuvre that had he waited probably would have Seen Scotty Win … but he persevered and won a few … keep it up Scotty !
I think we are in for a real special Indy 500 this year, especially when you got that Rick Mears livery leading the field to green!

I became a Scotty Mac fan several years ago when I watched him beat Shane Van Gisbergen to claim his first SuperCars title. When I heard of him leaving SuperCars and going IndyCar racing, I knew what was going happen and this is the first step, win next Sunday? I hope so, he has earned it. GO SCOTTY MAC!!!!!!!

A new four-lap pole record. Alex Palou had a faster single lap in his pole run last year.
And Arie Luyendyk set a 4-lap average of 236.9 back in 1996 during practice. It's still the 10-mile record during an Indy 500 sanctioned event.

Honestly Indy qualifying is special but that lap was something else. You knew that was something special it just looked spot on. A thing of beauty. Reminds me of why I love motorsport. Poetry in motion.
Will Power thought Scotty could of trimmed it more after his run, so if he did it would of been quicker again.

Coming out of 2, on lap 2, ...the tail wiggled stylishly, and he kept the Throttle buried for a back stretch fast run... Indy is everything in May for Old Guys who have gone there their whole lives, both on TV, and in the stands, it is the GREAT AMERICAN RACE
