I've been reflecting on how tech continues to leap forward at breathtaking speed, and yet the impulse to create remains constant.
I used to make Super 8 movies and then moved on to Betamax/VHS, which took a LOT more money and effort than nowadays -- and only friends and family got to see them.
Sharing stories and life experiences is just worth doing. :)
I agree with you Sky. Just the fact you have the ability to make these positive vlogs day in and day out without it seeming repetitive is an absolute superpower.

I have a boating and adventures channel in Florida and it takes me on average one hour to edit a minute of video,my goal is to make 10-12 min videos, what advise would you give me to simplify my process? Am I over editing videos?
Whatever you are doing it is working. 2 weeks ago I had no idea who you were, and then you landed right on my Homepage as a suggested video. I clicked it and was so glad I did, since that I've been catching up on all your past videos. I guess my point is the TH-cam Algorhythm is definitely suggesting your videos to people, so I feel in the coming weeks you will experience a lot of growth in the channel. The question segment is great as it's cool to hear what others want to know.
I joined TH-cam on 5th June 2007, but didn't upload anything for a long long time.
I started do do regular uploads at the end of January 2023.
I enjoy the whole process of creating and editing the videos and don't mind too much if not a lot of people watch them as I mainly do it to learn.
I have always had the kind of mind that needs to be constantly learning about new things.
Now you already know I watched till the end🥷🏽😎 but no man, I completely agree with the mindset that somebody, somewhere needs each and every video you post even if it's one person. As I always say.. keep thriving and being a ninja boss man !!👏🏽

But seriously, we share the same sentiments. I made a vid similar to this some time ago, and even my latest vid speaks a little to it (especially the no one watching part).
But it's ok because I love this. I will continue as long as it's fun for me. Plus, as you mentioned, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE needed to hear or see what I have created. These are wins.
I've completed 4 vlogs and am ready to move on to the next one. Thank you! The sky's the limit.

I put videos online if there is something I want to say or show which might help someone or entertain someone. Emphasis on 'might' And often views are tiny but that is ok. You can never tell whether you changed the whole life of the one viewer! On my channel I think my most viewed video is a one minute clip from the security camera in my garden showing everything shaking when we had an earthquake. Effort to make, zero. Such is life. Yours always look zero effort, off the cuff stuff, but I can tell that a huge amount of work goes into each one. But your workflow is streamlined and efficient. Mine... Isn't.

I feel the same way. I have this one video that has so few views (ok, let's be honest, a lot of videos with super little views... almost all) but this specific one is about writing letters. I knew it wasn't going to get views when I scripted it, filmed it, edited it, all the things. The point was to inspire just one person to write a letter... and to my surprise yesterday I got two letters in the mail!!! So awesome. I love that you said that you're just grateful to make videos, and love how much effort you put into your work.
