This 2wd Trucks class should be renamed "Funnytrucks class"
I think it was back in an the early 2000's, ATPA referred to them as funny trucks when they use to be on ESPN/ESPN 2.

Is the tank on the front of the trucks filled with gas or water?
Steel or lead. The water tanks and fuel tank are usually up there also. Anything to get weight on the front end.

I dont know to much about sled pulling but kinda sucks watching the gassers out pull the diesels
