I have an electric gate that uses old style type Linear Multi-code 10 digit receiver/ remotes. I had no trouble using them until recently when some are broken and need to be replaced. I started buying new remotes that look exactly the same but do not work with the code any ideas?

What model of radio receiver do you have? What model of remote do you have? You can find the make/model information printed on the back of the radio receiver and remotes. - Brian

I’m using the a Clicker Model Klik 10 remote with a Delta 3 Digital Linear receiver. I will check the settings and try again to connect to the Homelink in the car. Thanks

Brian Homelink was not able to help with connecting my Linear Digital Delta 3 receiver to my vehicle. Could you provide additional help.

You could try these instructions using your remote:
For first time training, press and hold the two outer HomeLink® buttons, releasing only when the HomeLink indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds. (Do not perform this step when training the additional HomeLink buttons.)
Position the hand-held transmitter 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink surface (usually located on your visor, overhead console, or mirror), keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view.
Using both hands, simultaneously press and hold both the desired HomeLink button and hand held transmitter button. DO NOT release until the HomeLink indicator light flashes slowly and then rapidly. When the indicator light flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released. (The rapid flashing indicates successful training.)

Hey there, I'm having some trouble getting the MDR/U to work with my Marantec Synergy 380.
I have programmed two remotes to the MDR, but when attempting to actually wire the MDR into the Marantec, it doesn't seem to actually do anything.
I can hear the MDR react to the button presses from the two remotes which signals that it is working, and even though the diagram says it doesn't matter the polarity of the wires being used, I've tried switching them around and wiring them directly into ports 4 and 3 on my Marantec, which is for the wall button unit, still no go.
The Marantec becomes unresponsive to its own remotes and the wall unit and won't function until I detach the MDR from it after a power cycle.
    Please advise.

Curious why you are trying to hook up a Linear MDRU receiver to a Marantec Synergy 380?
I've never attached an MDRU to a Synergy model operator so I'm not sure. You could try connecting the 2 wires from the MDRU to the back of the wall station. The wall station wires also go to 3 and 4 but maybe connecting to them will bypass an issue the logic board is having with the 2 MDRU wires being connected directly to 3 & 4.

@@Garagedoorzone Thank you for the response.
Long story somewhat shorter, after much quoting from several companies, my several times repaired garage door opener (Lift Master) finally kicked the bucket and the cheapest replacement overall (with labor) was this Marantec as this company did sell Chamberlain/Lift Master units.
The downside is it obviously won't work with MyQ app anymore since Chamberlain took away the Linear functionality. This was my first option and then I heard the integration was broken again.
I was hoping to use this Linear switch to enable functionality of two separate remote clickers I bought for two cars in my household that don't have Homelink functionality. The universal clickers work with up to two different brands, however, Marantec being Marantec, they have a locked ecosystem.
I was hoping to circumvent that by wiring this Linear MDR directly into the terminals because the Linear was able to respond to the universal remotes.

@@VivaLaTony06 So if I'm understanding you, you have two garage door operators and one's Marantec Synergy and the other is Liftmaster and you want to be able to control both of them with the 2-button universal remotes you have. Is that correct?

    • @VivaLaTony06
      @VivaLaTony06 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Garagedoorzone That is correct. Instead of having different remotes for each brand, I'd like to have one remote that controls both. It looks like it should be possible, but it's proving difficult

@@VivaLaTony06 Did you try attaching the wires directly to the wall station?
Hindsight is 20/20 but it probably would've worked better to attach a Marantec radio receiver to the Liftmaster operator and then use the 2-button Marantec remote to control both.
I'll test the MDRU on the Synergy operator when I get a chance and get back to you with the results. Perhaps there's something I'm not thinking of that may work.
