First I thought it was bizarre with open bathroom, but when I saw the shower walls I completely understood. They were amazing. I also LOVED the bamboo by the gym window. They gave shadow and privacy but also let in a very pleasant daylight through the leaves which looked very cozy.
The moss and plants in the entrance are not alive and that is why they don't need water.. Preserved moss / plant wall were once living and have since had their water content replaced with a non-toxic preservative like glycerol so that it may retain its fluffy consistency - food-grade dye is then used to either change or enhance colour.
just amazing someone could actually afford these houses - they just dont feel like something you'd live in more like something to visit or entertain in

I actually picked up a Tsar Bomba carbon red/black watch. Was surprised at how well its finished for the price point. It's deffinatley a nice addition to my budget box watch collection. Along with a PRX, Citizen Axion Eco drive and some other pieces!

I second that. This house is all class. Beautifully styled. I couldn't fault the furniture choices. I can't help but notice in some houses that the furniture was an afterthought and bought on the cheap. Aside from the Loos and a beer tap for Adam, the place is spectacular.
Yes, if I had the money AND lived in the US, but the annual taxes are so huge…..you have to be super wealthy just to run the house each year let alone live with all other expenses. Would be lovely to live somewhere like this and not have to worry about those pesky taxes you have to pay!
Adam was correct, the whole purpose to have a potfiller above the cooking top is to reach all pots without having to lift them. It seems this potfiller is not centered enough to reach the far right one.

you have to know that no matter what state the local economey is in, there are still large sectors of afluent individuals and families who's money never disppears from their accounts or contingent upon the status of the economy. That is a fact. They are unaffected by it.
Constant expensive maintenance on such old properties. Unhealthy materials like lead. Sketchy electrical. Folks with 25M for a home don't want to bother. 1/3 the price sounds right.
