I love my A-List membership. ❤ As for the lines, I go in the A-List line and when they ask for people, I'm ready and move to a register and hold my own against the other line. So far, no one has challenged me, because I know I am A-List and 6'1, so I make my presence known. 🤣
You did a great video explaining the program, one thing you didn't mention that I see people ask questions about, is that even though you get three movies a week, you only get three reserves at any given time. So now in January and say there are three movies in February you want to see, you are able to book those movies in advance but then it fills all your reserve slots, and you would be able to reserve any other movies even if they are for the current week, unless you cancel one of the reserves or wait until you seen those movies. So if you want to reserve future movies, always leave at least one reserve slot open, so once you see a movie the reserve slot will open back up, therefore allowing you to have up to two future movies reserves and still be able to see three movies for the current week.
I signed up today after being on the fence about it for a long time. The AMC in my area is a little more out of the way and i actually never went until today lol. I usually only go to my Marcus Conemas on Tuesday nights when it’s $6 for tickets. I’m glad I’ll at least go during the weekends and not plan my life around the cheap day. Thanks for the video!
I’m a member as of today! Im super stoked because I go to the movies A LOT. Only thing that really sucks is that i think you mentioned that we can’t use two free tickets for the same showing if I wanted to bring a friend with me. I appreciate the clarification and heads up!
This is my first time enjoying your TH-cam channel. Great content! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Your video was so informative. Thank you so much!
I love AMC A-list, get to see all my horror movies in the theaters for "free" now, I recommend doing a video covering regal unlimited because it is like this but with caveats.
I feel like you should be able to share your ticket with another account member like costco, The oddly count of 3 tickets means you'd only be able to take your partner to one movie a week leaving 1 vacant ticket anyway. That's pretty much the only gripe I have with it. At the end of the day you still save tons of money tho
It’s an amazing deal if you go to the movies often and want to see it in the best format. Add in the fact that I can reserve seats and it’s a dream come true.
You are good at oration. I bet you have a background in giving presentation or maybe sales or customer service for sure. You are natural talented. Anyway, so if I get AMC Stub and want to take my GF to AMC (she doesn't have it) is it easy to go on and pay for her? Also, it is free when I just book on app? Finally does having this nix all online fees when I pay for my GF and myself b/c thosw fees are hefty?
Thanks! I spent many years working in customer service call centers 😂 Yup- easy to add someone else. Just select your number of tickets. If the “choose as one of my A-List reservations” box is checked it will subtract off the cost of your ticket but charge for the others. And all the online fees are waived so no charge to get tix online (including buying for non-A Listers).
@@ShallISeeIt I do interviews with TH-camr. I did it for Rama's Screen and Kimmel Irish Pub. You can look that up. It is for fun for all (not a charge or this isn't a sales BS thing I am just a guy who loves movies). I would love to do it w/ you b/c I see you are a movie critic as well and are well spoken. What you think sir?
I think the thing I'm most curious is, if the theater doesn't check the ID am I able to use 2 of the 3 free tickets on the same showing or would it lock it out?
I was an A-List member for 2023 and canceled around January 2024. I read all the terms and conditions but I missed one important part…cancellation wait period. I was unaware you have to wait half a year before being eligible to sign up again. Personally, I think a 6 month waiting period is excessive.

@@ShallISeeIt yeah but I canceled A-List because I won t get a fee when I buy my tickets for my family there will have a fee for tickets so I will just buy tickets without A-List
I think its stupid that you can't use alll three for the same showing. Like seriously? Why don't these companies understand that if im paying for something, I should be able to use it the way i fucking want

Yup- thanks for bringing that up. That definitely is an issue and something I’ve run into when trying to book ahead for future weeks.

Doesn’t matter if you travel to different states if you live in CA your only option is $24.99 😂

Thank you Matt, this is one of the best explanation of a topic, the only thing that I did not like it is the ID at beggining but I understand. Thanks!

AMC theaters is the best theater ever. The one by me is top notch

Totally would but there aren’t Regal theatres near me so I can’t try it firsthand.

Good review, and good explanation. I was really hesitant because it sounded to good to be true

Hey man! Do they offer any student discounts? I am an MBA student in NY
Weird recommendation. You should do food reviews of amc. Or the microwave popcorn tasting.
Love the content bro
Hmm… could make a spin off called Shall I Taste It? 😂
@@ShallISeeIt yes please do, I will watch!!!!!!!!!
Can u go 2 any amc or only just 1 location? And if am in new york but put i live in Alabama do i pay less or do they check tht?
You can go to any AMC if you have the $25 plan. Any AMC in any state.
I think the thing I'm most curious is, if the theater doesn't check the ID am I able to use 2 of the 3 free tickets on the same showing or would it lock it out?
I don’t think the system would let you book 2 tickets to the same showing, even if they don’t check your ID.
@@ShallISeeIt yeah I saw that the earliest for the next booking is 2 hrs, so you're unable to do it
Can you go to all 3 movies in one day?
Yup!
Yes
