Honestly don’t be nervous, just be your normal self. And typically I tell the customers jokes just to make there day go smoother. Just be yourself and try to make the customer happy (remember that this is a special occasion for them)

Yes! I was usher before quarantine and i liked it its chill except when its busy and we had to work faster but i liked it better that any other position

But at the start of the video, I saw your Wilde Lake shirt (I'm from MD originally) and I was like no wayyyyyy she's about to be at AMC Columbia 14 and sure enough lol So many memories at that theatre and that mall 🥲
I work at a small local 1 screen movie theater, I started right after valentines day, and I might try to replace that job with AMC next summer because the opportunity for free movies will be better at AMC.
Anytime they don’t call back, I’d highly recommend you call back and follow up. Make sure they know that you are really interested in the position. Also, the most important thing in any interview isn’t having the most experience or being the best qualified… It’s being liked, people hire people that can see themselves working with. So focus on making a positive connection with the interviewer, always thank them for the opportunity and always follow up. One last recommendation, don’t make a career at AMC or any job that pays that low (even first level managers don’t make much there). Sure work there when you are in school but after make sure to go to a job that actually pays well. Basically, any government job will pay well, so personally I’d recommend government jobs for the pay, benefits and retirement.
i've worked at regal cinemas for 7 years and now just got hired at amc after not working cuz of covid lmaooo. Ask me any questions. I was a lead at Regal.

I used to work at AMC. I loved that job except for concessions. I hated that. My favorite was usher and cleaning theatres. Best job ive had so far.

As a movie theater employee myself, I can say managers really don't care for employees using cell phones. There is always cleaning that can be done.
