Hi... I have seen some people are using outer area of base glass to stick side glasses same as like in this video. But some others are putting all side glasses on the top of base glass by reducing the 2 side glasses width by glass thickness..
Which practice is right or which practice is good ? And why ?

What's that thing you have on your index finger? Is it made of rubber? Looks like the silicone doesn't stick to it? Would be great if you could advise where to get them. Also I assume you don't need to clamp the aquarium? The silicone will bond strongly with the glass once it cures? Cheers!

Will silicone still bind after it skins over? I just replaced a glass panel on my aquarium and I had a hard time working the silicone out of the caulk. It may have dried a little before I placed the glass to bind
Try DowSil 881 for silicone, probbably the best one on the market for glass and aquarium builds.

Method is correct. Silicon should be strong. Even ADA tanks come with all top glass connected from side of bottom glass.

Size for the middle 2 glass is wrong.. if it’s 12” * 12” the other side glass will not fix.. it should be 12”-5mm * 12-10mm if it’s 5 mm glass

the thickness of side glass / back and front glass has not be accounted for. which should be subtracted to keep the joints at exactly 90 degree angle

A gentle reminder to anyone thinking of starting fish keeping: you must cycle your aquarium first! Also, goldfish need much bigger tanks than that. Nice job building it, but it should have a filter.
I don't think beginners start off by building their own tanks. Most start of with pre built kits. If they still enjoy their hobby after a while then they may look into stuff like this

Where you bought the glasses??
It’s a good tank but I don’t recommend keeping those fish in there, I’d also put some water conditioner in the water otherwise you’re burning their gills which will cause them to die in 24 hours or less. Also, it doesn’t say how many gallons this tank can hold. Can you please tell me?

The actually tank build isn't all that bad.... until you put that nasty cheap "decoration" down the corners and that god awful lid!! The foam bottom i can understand the requirement, but it could have been cut a lot neater, or used a better material...

man!! I know the purpose of this video was for building fish tank, but you should have ended it up right there. Putting fish in that tank without cycling the tank+ no filter, no water conditioner and quick acclaimation made me wondering for how long these fish can survive?????
Bro there is no need to add contioners bcz i also dont add conditioners in my tank i have just added natural bacteria which cycles new tank in one day i weekly change 20% water and i dont add conditiones bcz my bacteria is there to purify my tank and also my gish are healthy
@@sohaibkhan9568 Conditioner Is used to remove chlorine from water, bacteria can't remove chlorine. The bacteria's only convert the ammonia in your fish tank to nitrates
