@@HardcoreRC I've watched both and I'm wondering if it's because when you and Kevin hit the skatepark your going up and right back down so your only seeing peak elevation for a split second wich isn't enough time for the barometer to register accurately. Where as rcdude is at his high elevation for alot longer. Would be cool to see you guys test it again but on a jump setup like this one
@@ryancarter142 dont think so, technically based on physics no matter what the trajectory the peak elevation will always be for the same time, just as the max height will always be based on the time in the air, length has no impact in that
@@HardcoreRC technically yes but who is to say max wasn't 90ft and it read a little low because like you said your not at peak for long. But when you stretch a arc out this long he would spend more hang time at 82ft than you would if you jumped straight up to 90 ft and fell straight down. I'm not saying he's at peak for the hole jump but if he spends 2.5 seconds in the top 20% of his elevation gain vs the maybe 1 sec you spent at the top 20% of your elevation gain. I stare at altitude in my fpv drone alot and barometers take a second or two to register. And if I do super quick elevation gain it dosent register accurately untill you have at least 1 second of "calmness"

Not better actually a bit harder since there is very little rotating mass but it does keep the buggy straighter in the air. I ran them bc of the speed I was going regular tires would blow out.😜👊👊
@@RCDUDE81 I bet 👌, I want to try to reach about 150ft with my Tekno and so far I was able to reach 110 now at about 50mph 4s but I’d like to try to launch at realistically 70mph but just realized that my duratrax posse cant even take 60mph I have some old style katars that def can stay composed but tbh I’ve found air control kinda difficult with them on 4s that is, due to their lack of ballooning they can’t pull the nose up or even backflip on 20t pinion I bet in 6s that will be different but definitely not what I’m used to i always barely land it, found gone bananas foams for truggy but doubt I’ll even get that much speed I also carpeted my ramp and man it made a difference, hardly need too much of a Runup now would def recommend, I’m waiting for you to get 200+ soon👌

I think everyone should do it on a 4 foot high homemade ramp and your run up be only on pavement. Because there’s a lot of variables when you’re transitioning from grass to concrete at the skateboard ramps But with that being said I’m sure the gate Park ramp is a little taller than yours. My v5 typhon esc melted. It burnt a motor wire off. HH wants the truck back, I don't want to send it. Please recommend a new esc with ec5 battery connection on 6s.

My v5 typhon esc melted. It burnt a motor wire off. HH wants the truck back, I don't want to send it. Please recommend a new esc with ec5 battery connection on 6s.
