- Just had an itch to see just how high and fast I could launch off my 3 ft tall ramp. Using the fully M2C'd Arrma Typhon V4, she's a little rocket no doubt! Got a new record at 82ft high at 83mph using the Skyrc GPS. So much fun to push these rigs to see what they are truly capable of! More to come!
-Also used some stellar quality Ceramic Hybrid ABEC-5 bearings that are butter smooth and work great!

Always thought the GSM020 was arcuate normally in 3ft increments, but after the testing Kev and we did im not to sure now, it was just strange how each one reported different heights, that being said just eyeballing you can deffo tell if going stupid high or not, plus the time in air is a huge indicator

@@HardcoreRC I've watched both and I'm wondering if it's because when you and Kevin hit the skatepark your going up and right back down so your only seeing peak elevation for a split second wich isn't enough time for the barometer to register accurately. Where as rcdude is at his high elevation for alot longer. Would be cool to see you guys test it again but on a jump setup like this one
@@ryancarter142 dont think so, technically based on physics no matter what the trajectory the peak elevation will always be for the same time, just as the max height will always be based on the time in the air, length has no impact in that
@@HardcoreRC technically yes but who is to say max wasn't 90ft and it read a little low because like you said your not at peak for long. But when you stretch a arc out this long he would spend more hang time at 82ft than you would if you jumped straight up to 90 ft and fell straight down. I'm not saying he's at peak for the hole jump but if he spends 2.5 seconds in the top 20% of his elevation gain vs the maybe 1 sec you spent at the top 20% of your elevation gain. I stare at altitude in my fpv drone alot and barometers take a second or two to register. And if I do super quick elevation gain it dosent register accurately untill you have at least 1 second of "calmness"

Just absolute insanity man so awesome. Not gonna lie my mouth might have dropped on a couple sends haha. That's such an awesome spot for flying cars too with that grass to help with a good landing pad lol seems bout a foot per mph with is sick lol. I love seeing peoples reactions to the hobby who have never really seem them it's great introducing people to it. It was awesome to see you at that spot again too.i feel like it's been a while. I think everyone should do it on a 4 foot high homemade ramp and your run up be only on pavement. Because there’s a lot of variables when you’re transitioning from grass to concrete at the skateboard ramps But with that being said I’m sure the gate Park ramp is a little taller than yours.
