She certainly had a beautiful home !!! But In my heart I thought something was missing!! beautiful WOMAN!!! She was only around 40!! When this taped( by the way)!!!
The moments when she is surprised by her houseplant, walking into it as if she'd never seen it before...and the next question is "How long have you lived there?" "Oh, about six years ..."
Such a beautiful, articulate and creative lady! Yes, I agree there is an undercurrent of sadness about Peggy Lee...the entertainment business was/is very tough on marriage relationships. I grew up on her songs, incredibly sweet voice and clever phrasing.
