  • Here are 5 signs that you might have pelvic floor dysfunction.
To be certain, book an assessment with a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I practice out of Mississauga, Ontario. You can submit a booking request here: www.ecophysio....

I think mine is acting up again. I was diagnosed with it before and I have most signs except the first one. Doc confirmed this week I don’t have any infections with DNA swab tests so it’s back to my pelvic floor stretches

Which doctor do you see for this? A urologist? I am on my 4th urologist. None of them can fix erectile dysfunction.
Or maybe it's better to see a uro gyno doctor?
I was wondering why I have hip tightness but only my right hip and Testicle pain and urine leakage?

Can it cause so much pain that you are stuck lying in bed? Mine moves around. My bladder will have pressure over it and i can’t empty and it aches at the end of trying to go. Then when i sit my bottom can hurt. Then once i relieve the constipation I can feel relief, but it will return 10 minutes later as an ache in back of pelvic region amd maybe up to lower back. And when i sit my bladder can have pressure on it. It feels best when sit on my feet, knees out, and lean forward with face on the ground. Also, all the exercises I’ve done naturally, but the relief is super temporary. This halts almost my entire day. 😢 I saw a myofascial therapist once and she relieved the bladder pressure for three days and alleviated the coccyx pain permanently. I will see her again the moment i have the funds.

@@evol311ve3 pain can make many things difficult. Working with people is helpful and having things you can work on at home is great. I will often tell my clients if you find something that helps, even if temporary. Practice that more. Or have a longer practice. These things can help you do other things and your world slowly begins to expand over time, rather than diminish. Quick „fixes” often don’t last. The slow and steady progress often wins the race.

Some other things I have are “skinnier and flatter” stools, horrible groin flexibly (when I do say the butterfly stretch) and when I pee sometimes it flows out then kinda stops or slows down then out of no where comes out quick. I also have a pilonial cyst, my doctor said because I’m muscular it’s created tightness in that region forcing it to rub, but I’m curious if he’s wrong and that this could had occurred as a “by symptom” of pelvic floor tightness.

What about us males who have pelvic floor disfunction with incontance. Who also now have or must catheter to drain out bladder and settle somewhat the horrid 24-7 urgency, with also Prudendal neurologia. Ive have the prudenal nerve block with not much any possitive results. I just had a ganling impar nerve steroidal injection has been in physical Therapy for 15 months straight 3 to 4 x a week to include dry needling in my pelvic floor. I am desperate to stop this pain 🥺🥹🥺🥹🥺

@@MikeConner.akaRadio this sounds like a more complicated case that typically requires a multidisciplinary approach and what we call a biopsychosocial approach that takes into consideration not just the physical symptoms but also social and environmental influences. Stress management and nervous system regulation are also important factors when dealing with chronic symptoms. Speak with your physiotherapist more about it.

    • @MikeConner.akaRadio

@Ecophysio I was injured, and when I was my lower back, I got messed up. Went through a series of injections as well as an ablasion on 4 nerves on each side of my lower back. Before the ablasion is when it started, I slowly could no longer drain my bladder and started to suffer incontance at the same time. I've also had botox injections on the inside of my bladder and a urodynamic study of my bladder and all the muscles inside my pelvic floor. They constantly fire, or trigger, causing 24/7 spasms, and when they spasm at the same time they pull so hard I buckle over and it feels like I am bearing down harder than a woman does durring child birth. That's what the study and the graphs show its so so painful and makes it so I can't breathe. I've recently had to file disability retirement from work, because it's gotten so bad I can't work

Find a pelvic floor physio therapist
Or go to a chiropractor and tell them that you have a tight pelvic floor and it hurts
And take sitz bath and put hot packs on the pain affected area and never put ice packs
