Narcs don't understand truth, love and logic. When no-contact is not an option, better to talk in a language that they understand. Tell them the opposite of what you intend to do. Confuse them inside out. Do so in a subtle, calm manner while staying as far away physically and emotionally as you can. This is the best way to defeat a narc.

I don't think so. If it's not your nature, then don't. Narc can damage you forever and never care about it. If you can't ignore or leave a narc as it could be too late, setting up boundaries is a must.

Hi Danish , thank u so much . U have no idea how much u r helping me to overcome 10’years of abuse . Got married to him thinking he is the best person in the world though it was arranged marriage. In just one week he started showing his true colours. Today m here lost my son custody , lost my health , my USA medical PG residency, he didn’t even give my eductional certificates . Came out of this relationship with one set of clothes. He is not even letting me talk to my son it’s been 2 years . M here today thinking if this life is worth living

I have been at the lowest, darkest places in my long life many times due to narcissistic abuse of my mother and siblings. I have felt like giving up thinking my life could never turn around. I am here to tell you, life is worth living. You are unique and special and God loves you. And He loves me. Learn to trust in God, ask Him to strengthen you. Pray for your son, one day you will see him again. Never give up hope. And, use your pain to help others who also hurt.

The way how I deflect to a narcissistic person is that I give her a useless, yet funny answer she cannot do anything with and this way she literally shuts the hell up, or just answers positively and shut her mouth afterwards.

@bjrowell. I do. No one has attacked you premeditatedly I guess. No one has risked the lives of you, and your and their innocent child. It is the ones most vulnerable who are unwittingly always in danger and the ones targeted, often secretly, to hurt covertly. Do you see now ?

    • @bernitacenteno1326
      @bernitacenteno1326 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@@twinkleshineful Who do you agree with ? Narcissists often make it look like an accident or do things just to cause harm to another or their....then it's as if it's your fault that something just happened. Not so. They all are different and use different tactics. They're really really dangerous. I couldn't see at first when I experience it in lots of different ways. I'm clear headed now and free now. I thank God and pray every day and live a normal healthy life, better than I use to.

Hard to say this without being offensive, but you're very naive. These are people who are intent on hurting you for their own gain and pleasure. If you really really wanted to hurt someone, I'm sure you could find a way. Now imagine someone twisted spending all of their time and mental energy trying to come up with ways to hurt someone. I hope this expands your understanding.

Thankyou Danish, this is the Best advice I’ve ever found about this- I have a narcissistic abusive mother and I have been looking for the words to use to protect myself from her for a long time, exact quotes, these are like gold dust to me, I honestly can’t thank you enough for this, it is brilliant. Sometimes escaping isn’t really an option with complex family situations (I left home years ago as soon as I was old enough but I’m 40 now and the abuse continues). Thankyou so much, You are so knowledgeable and clearly understand the difficulties of it all. Much love indeed, you are a wonderful person 💜💜

Thank you for this video. Good solutions. I realised I was part of the problem because I gave her the opportunity to provoke me. All I had to do was to avoid her. Now that I have security cameras, I make sure I scan my space before stepping into it. It's inconvenient but it's worth the effort.
Sometimes it still slips through. They will shout across the road when they see me. It's not just her now but all her gang members + her husband. The trick is to get away as quickly as possible so I am out of earshot. Or to simply not get triggered. They can shout all they want.
    They are desperate for attention.

Tysm for this video..me and my mom are enduring my narcissistic father and his relative. I think this is an ancestoral curse which is passing down. I really don't want to be like father and I will try my best to be a good parent in future. Only grandma and grandpa were the person who were not like them..only due to aunt and uncle's vile narcissism they were made guilty and made everyone against them...they were fighter and fought till their last breath. Now I'm damm sure they all will get karma and just to me, my mom and my grandma and grandpa. Most vile person in family tree is elder aunt who bullied my mom and slutshamed/degraded her..n now her daughters are doing the same, but I'm NOT going to let them trample me easily and my dumb papa is captived by them and believes their crappy lies and manipulation. Even if they go to most niche path to degrade me and mum papa NEVER takes our side and cover ups them. I'm just under him bc he's paying for education dw once I earn I will leave him and my mom will do the same..bc we both have endured so much and my mom endured more than me, she's still enduring so that I can be financially independent and stable in life. As she's not working and just a housewife. Now I don't have doubts of leaving my father in future since he said these 3 things that are so degrading.
    1. I regret listening to your decision about career choice bc you are huge failure when I didn't scored good percentile in mba exam.
    2. To my mum when she told him about my photoshoot and his 1st words was "she must've clicked naked pics (yesterday's situation where my mom dk that I heard and saw everything)" which made my mum absolutely mad.
    3. Scolding and shouting in front of whole cyber cafe and degrading and belittling me in 11th grade who was new to internet and made minor mistake while filling form where every single person was looking at me.
Ik in future he will torture me more dw me being silent and enduring is my biggest weapon and leaving him will be biggest attack.

trying to heal while living with a narcissist is impossible. it’s like trying to dry your hair while standing in the rain. impossible.
let go of the urge to change or control the narcissist. the idiot narcissist is a broken, pathetic person that you cannot fix. control yourself instead and let that be enough. when they cannot take away your self control, it is GAME OVER for them.

Seems to me only about 10% of these comments have any actual real experience with an actual narcissist and have actual narcissist abuse
Someone being mean to you or not agreeing with you is not narcissism...
The pain is indescribable, you literally have no foundation, they steal your dreams and your reality
You go up, should of gone down, go down you should of gone up, do nothing and you should of done something, do something and you should of done nothing
You have no control over anything, and all the while they blame you and destroy your life and every relationship you have... they have you so confused and believing that you are so inferior that you just break...
You are nothing, and they train you to love it
