Hello! Don't be a ninja! 🥷 Leave a comment 👇 Edit: Thank you so much for answering my questions and for coming out of the shadows! I have amazing listeners 👏👏👏
Hello Luke , how are you? I'm a designer and an illustrator from Argentina. I've been listening to your podcast on and off for a long time , before Covid lockdown- I'm a C1 level of English student who wants to improve my English not only to pass the CAE exam but also to be able to get a remote job and to be able to be fluent and bilingual for personnal reasons .My favourite episodes are the ones where you read short stories and explain its vocabulary and grammar. Could you show a short sample of your stand up show please ? Unfortunately , I can' go to Paris to see your performance . I hope I 'm not a Ninja any more ... hahah Thanks for your free lessons on TH-cam ! Keep up the good work ! Until next time, bye ! Keep up the good work!
Hi! I’m from Russia. I’ve been listening to you for about 6 or 7 years. It’s a pleasure to listen to your podcasts. I love listening to them when I do some household chores. I’m really happy that I can understand nearly everything. Thanks for your work!❤
I'm from Ukraine. I like listening to your podcasts. Today, I was so glad to hear from you the message to support Ukraine. I really appreciate that. Thank you for your work.
Hello Luke! My name’s Elena . I’m from Yakutia (Siberia) , the coldest place in the world where people live. I’m a LEPster for 5 years already. I’m very grateful to you for your podcast . 🙏🥰❤️
Hello, I am 72 years old from BKK. I've been listening to LEP for many years, mostly in bed , early every morning as I can. I love every poscasts esp. short story, advising the books to read, the jokes ect. You are my favourite, perfect, wonderful teacher. Thank you.
Your podcast is just super good, Luke! You know how to convey the English language in a very interesting, clever and funny way. I enjoyed every minute of it. Have a good time in your previous home. 💗
Hi! I am from Belarus. Your podcast is the best for me. I’ve been listening the LEP for about 5 mounts 🎉 There are short stories, jokes and conversations with people the most interesting for me. Moreover, I listen the BBC 6 minutes LEnPodcast.
Hi Luke! I am from Poland. I have been listening to your podcast for two months. I discovered your podcast by chance on TH-cam. It is hard to describe my English myself. I have improved my English a lot by listening to your podcast. I stuck for a longer with Close Encounter with a Bear. I have memorised the story by working on pronunciation for several weeks. In my opinion, memorising whole sentences is the best way to learn. Besides pronunciation, I also improved my listening skills. I have learned that correct pronunciation automatically helps to understand others. Because I have a long story in learning English, I was surprised that in such a short time, I have been able to see such progress. Of course nothing for free. I spent many hours on it. It was not easy at the beginning. Anyway, there is much more to learn, such as grammar, vocabulary and more. But the most important thing in learning English I know is repetition. There is no shortcut. I enjoy learning English through your podcast Luke, because this is the most effective way for me and at the same time pleasure. And believe me, I had been trying everything to improve my English. There are a lot of podcasts to go through and definitely I will enjoy the crime story. Answering your question of why I want to improve my English, I always wanted to use this language fluently and I think I will need it in future. Thanks for being and your podcasts which are mostly dedicated to English learners.
Hi Luke ! I'm from France and I'm not a ninja or a squeleton at all 😂 but a Lepster addict. I listen to your podcasts for hours and people look at me as if I were completely crasy because I'm laughing out loud in the street, especially when I listen to an episode with Amber and Paul 🥰 Thanks so much for making learning english soooo fun ! Have a nice day 🌻
I’ve been listening to LEP for longtime, I especially love to listen to your short stories while doing my weekly cleaning, but barely leave a comment. This time I would like to leave one to thank you for all the efforts, the great jobs that you did. I love your podcast, your accent, your very clear voice. And again thanks for those carefully explained every time you speak. You are doing great job. Please never change .
Hi Luke, I am from Thailand and have been listening to LEP for about 4 years, not sure if I was a ninja because I think I have commented so far 2 times 😆. I happened to find your channel on TH-cam by chance while scrolling through it, and was really into your way of speaking, I mean your accent, because at the time it might be my first time hearing the British one which I later realised it is quite easier for me in terms of pronoucing words, intonation and so on, than the American one. Currently, I am at the C1 level based on my IELTS result a couple of months ago, and honestly it is really because of LEP. I have learnt so several things from this channel listening to yours while driving and running mostly, Many thanks Luke. The reason why I want to improve my English is because there was a time when I had to go to the USA having some courses, and I felt quite confident in my skills. However, Most natives there could not understand my speaking, I realised it later that the problem was my wrong pronunciation and intonation, so after then I had started learning all the basics and happened to know the phonetics of English and your Channel. It is going to be a long one sorry Luke😂, the episodes I really love are those when you are podcasting with Paul and Ember, the LYING GAME in particular. And the last one lol, my fav colour is BLUE, the asking of the size of the coffee in this ep really made my day, Thanks Luke, by the way, I have been trying to listen to all the eps of LEP on apple podcast app, after succeeding in doing so, the next ones are going to be the premium ones I promise. Hope I could join your stand-up show some day. All the best, Luke
Dear and lovely Luke , l will only say: You are my main vitamin everyday, it is not just because of your English skills, it is because of you! simple , JUST to listen to you, you always bring my espírit up! So, please don’t let us donwn ever! ❤❤❤❤ From Mexico city by the way.
Hello, Luke! I've been one of your ninjas for a year, and I think it's time to come out of the shadows by answering the questions you suggested in this episode. I'm a 20-year-old student from Ukraine, and I discovered your podcast by accident when I was looking for materials to learn English after suddenly moving to another country. My level of English was terrible-I couldn't even link words into a sentence and didn't understand much spoken English. By the way, now I live in Lapland, which is kind of ironic when you ask, "How is it in LEPland?" I've tried many materials and podcasts but couldn't stick to any except yours. I appreciate the length of the episodes, variety of topics, and constancy. I'm more of a listener than a viewer because it gives me the opportunity to do other things: I listen to you at work, at home, while walking, and while cooking. But sometimes I also like to watch the video version, as it helps me to catch words properly. I used to use the Google Podcasts app, but it's not available anymore, so I've installed the LEP app, which is quite convenient to use, I must admit. I'm not a premium listener yet, but I'm going to become one as soon as I figure out how to subscribe because your work is truly impressive and deserves support. I feel like my level of English is somewhere between B1 and B2 now, and it's a big improvement all thanks to you. I could listen to you all day, and even though I haven't been a LEPster for very long, it feels like I've known you forever. You're a truly inspiring person who knows his stuff. I wish to meet you one day and thank you personally because you have had the most significant influence on my English learning journey. The best way to learn a language for me is through listening, shadowing, and writing down new vocabulary. It helps me a lot. I like your rambling episodes and the ones where you explain jokes, but my favorites are the episodes with Amber and Paul (the citizenship tests, lying games, and the one about toilets are the best!). The moments I really enjoy on the podcast are the humour, guitar playing, imitating other voices and accents, and also repeating phrases from other episodes, such as 'I have a very particular set of skills😎.' All of that makes the whole atmosphere really cozy and homely, like talking to an old friend. I usually manage to listen all the way to the end of each episode in one go because I really enjoy listening for as long as possible (sometimes even 3-4 episodes in one go, so I guess I'm that one crazy nerd skeleton). My dream is to improve my English a bit more to the level of understanding jokes and come to one of your stand-up shows one day. Your constancy and passion for your work are really impressive. I wish you all the best and hope you never lose that spark of creativity that makes you yourself. And for whatever this information is needed for...my favorite color is blue, and the average wing speed of a fully laden African swallow obviously depends on the weight of the sea urchin. Have a good holiday time in advance!
I have been listening your podcast for 2 years. I enjoy your short stories, your way of telling, your voice. Thank you for your help in learning English
Hello, teacher Luke! I am from Argentina and I want to tell you that I am not a ninja because I had written to you my comments and I had received likes for them which made me feel happy, knowing that someone had read. I have been listening to LEP for about two years and it started when I found your LEP by chance, on the youtube channel, while I was searching how to refresh my English. I am 64 and I had my Certificate of Merit as a Professor of English when I was 19, as you see, a long time ago. Now I want to improve my English in order to prevent my brain from terrible illness like Alzheimer or madness and the best way is by listening to your podcasts that are always interesting and useful because you are not only the best English teacher that I have ever heard but also a genuine and authentic human being. I do not like s.fiction genre at all but The Simulation was a good one, principally by the non ending final. This is a good strategy to improve the creative and writting of your learners. Referring to the moments of your Episodes, I must say that the introductions are the best. The presentation makes listeners keep their attention along the whole story and is the way that a good teacher starts the classes. Sometime, when the Episode is too long, I break it up into section and return listening later. I have forgotten to tell you that my favourite colour is light blue. Thanks again, teacher Luke for sharing your kindness and knowledge! Enjoy your holidays, have happiness and love, you deserve them!
Hi Luke. I'm a Brit living in France like you. I've been here 33 years now. I don't need to learn English, but I just love watching your videos because of the interesting subjects and guests and your wonderful sense of humour (a bit like Stewart Lee sometimes?). I like all your videos, although I haven't watched them all - there are far too many. There's always something interesting about them, and they are always well prepared. Sometimes, I even learn some English grammar as well. As a typical Brit, I make mistakes sometimes, and it's useful to go over the rules. Anyway, keep up the good work and all the best.
Hi. It's nice to know, that there are also native British LEPsters here. I was wondering about it, as I realised that not only language learning keeps me waiting for a new episode every week. Cheers!
Hello, i’m one of that ninjas. From Iran. Walking to my workplace right now and listening to u. Mostly can’t listen to your podcast completely but I enjoy it very much. Story ones are my favorite. And congrats to your efforts and your amazing work. Have a good day and life❤
I admire the culture, the food, the language and the great literature of iran. Hopefully one day I will be there Which city do you live in? And have you ever been in other countries?
Hello Luke! This is a LEPster from Peru. It has been almost 1 year now since I discorvered your podcast on TH-cam. And I am grateful to you for LEP. I don't why but somehow after listening to your podcasts I just happened to have a little bit of the Brittish accent on mu speech although I'm used to American's. And it is awesome having three accents (Peruvian, American, and Brittish) hahaha.
Hello Luke. My name Is Luke as well. I am a retired guy from the outskirts of Milan, Italy. I studied english in my youth but I ended up to work in a place where the knowledge of english was not important. Now I have more spare time and more opportunities on the web and why not brushing up my loved idiom. I found your you tube podcast two months ago and besides following your current episodes since them I am stolling your previous ones .I know it will take years to finish them but I am ready to face the ride. I love licterature so my preferred episodes are the english stories. Then I like a lot the dialogues with your parents about politics and current life in England. I am not a ninja and since I joined you I have been writing comments. I conferm that you read them all and leave your answer to them. I am very pleased of that. I am colourblind and I prefer Yellow and Blue which I can distinguish perfectly. Your work is amazing and I thank you for your passion and proficiency. Now that I found you, I ' ll be a true follower and I have already suggested your podcast to some friends of mines. Thanks again and take care
LEP is gold. No teacher is better than Luke. I love a good ramble. I’m crazy about any current events in the world. Always follow my master to be informed.
I have listened this episode 3 times at leat. How incredibly amusing and clever it is! The negotiation between the robber and the cop is utterly hilarious!! Thank you Luke for such a gift!!
Hey, Luke! I’m from Russia and I’ve been listening to your podcast since 2019! I discovered your app (which you don’t use anymore) in a video by an English teacher from Russia. She recommended you for intermediate English learners to improve vocabulary and boost listening skills. I want to thank you for your work and sense of humour! Your podcast still helps me a lot to take my mind off things and get better at English. Sending love to you and your family ♥️ My listening skills in 2019 were pretty bad, I remember that I didn’t really understand your brother 😂 but now I do! I’m so happy about it! LEP made it possible for me to enjoy other podcasts and now I’m the biggest fan of different types of podcasts. I listen to discussions about my favourite tv series, popular science lectures, history, relationships and psychology. Now I can use English as a tool to learn things that I’m interested in. My favourite episode of LEP is the one where you and your brother talk about swearing 😂 that was amazing! I like stories from your life and I absolutely love it when Amber and Paul are on the podcast 🎉 I am 24 years old by the way 😂
Hello 👋 I've been listening to LEP for 4 years. I was looking for a podcast to improve my listening skills. The first episode I listened to was 657 "Why do Brits sing with American accents?" I was so amazed by Luke's style of podcasting and communicating with his audience ❤ It's a great resource for all learners of English around the world!
Hello people of the world! Hello dear teacher Luke! I have put the video on the pause to say huge thank you for this special opportunity to improve language skills and sound more like a native! I absolutely love your approach how you treat your multinational audience: with love, respect and much care! ❤ I've been a devoted lepster for 4 years already:)
Hi Luke, I usually break your podcasts into parts and listen to them in the morning while i m having breakfast and getting ready for work. It's a habit that has slowly grown on me and that I find to be rather soothing (even when you just ramble or talk about time travel :)). thank you and keep up doing this awesome podcast for at least 15 years more, please!
Luke, you are inspiring me. My morning starts with you and your videos. During two years I have been listening you, every day. Thanks. Hello from Ukraine
Luke, in episode 807. of your podcast, Jon Stewart PhD stated that Luke's English Podcast is great, and those who listen to it have found a great teacher. I can only add: Thank you very much, Luke, for everything you do for us - Lepsters! I've been a LEPster for over a year. I stumbled upon the podcast while searching for something to listen to in English, and it was like a revelation! Since then, I've been watching videos on TH-cam and listening to audio on Pocket Casts. I've listened to or watched all the archived episodes, some of them several times. I'm up to date with the new episodes. The format of your podcast, with its variety, is brilliant! You’re right in saying that there is a method to this madness🙂 Have a nice holiday🏕🏖🏞🌅🌄
Beautifully written❤ I've also been a lepster for over a year now. I first came across Luke's podcast in the interview with Lucy and when I checked out his channel, it was love at first sight. Since then I don't watch too much of others youtube english learning content, he kind of checks all the boxes for me!
Hi I'm from Haifa, Israel. Most of people in Israel speak English very well but i don't. I started to learn English in the basic school in Russia and continued for years but my English still very poor. Few time ago I watched "The game of Thrones" (in russian translation) and became a big fan of it. It gave me motivation to start to read a book of G.Martin. It was very difficult for me at first but now it's pretty simple because i started to understand new words from the context. I'm very grateful for your podcast because now i need more listening practice. I usually listen in TH-cam when i do my chores or physicall work. I love Short English stories very much. Most of podcasts i listen in some pitches of 20-30 minutes. Thanks a lot for your doing
Hello 👋🏼 I am from Serbia and I have been listening 🎧 this podcast about 5-6 day's and I can tell you you are very interesting. I hope that I will be able to improve my English language by listening to this podcast and yours story 🎉 Cheers 🥂😊
Hi Luke! I’m a long term LEPster and also a premium subscriber. I’ve been listening to your podcasts for several years and it really became an important part of my life! I’m from Poland, my name is Gosia and I’m also an English teacher. Your podcast helped me a lot - it gave me confidence and fluency in speaking. I can’t imagine my life without listening to your podcast on regular basis 😊 Thank you so much for what you’re doing! ❤
Hello Luke! I came across your podcasts about 4 years ago. I couldn’t understand much but I got that you were the main character on the stage of English teachers. I like all your episodes, especially with Paul and Amber #866, 809, 791, 753, with Zdenek #849, with Stephen Devincenzi 861, 862, all the episodes with a short story of course, rambling episodes. Actually it’s hard to choose the best ones. I watch video versions when I’m at home and listen to on Spotify when being outside. I’ve been a ninja for quite a lot time because I’m very shy. But suddenly I realized that it had been unfair to enjoy your job and say nothing. Thanks a million! I always look forward to every next episode. My favourite colour is blue as the sky in fair weather condition. Have a nice holiday and come back to your lepsters! 😊
Hello, Luke!!! I'm from Azerbaijan . I have been listening your amazing podcasts for 5-6 months. I want to say you that your podcasts help me very much with learning English,I want to thank you for everything .
Hello Teacher Luke. I really enjoy listening to your podcasts. Also your Dad is a great person. Like father like son. I love listening to you both. I appreciate what you do 🤗😊
I am from Argentina and I have been listening to your podcasts for eight month. I am very grateful because they have been very useful and funny. I enjoy them a lot.
Hi Luke! I am Abderrahmane. I am a Moroccan guy. I will start teaching English next September. I have been listening to LEP for nearly 5-6 years. I find it so interesting because you are one of the rare PODCASTERS who mix learning with fun and humour. I also like it that you invite other English speakers onto your podcast, which is by far one of the best things to do simply because conversations foster learning and help accelerate the learning process. In addition to that, we get to listen to your monologues, i.e Rambling Episodes, as you like to call them. I have to admit that I love your parents. Listening to them speak makes me relaxed and absolutely willing to hear more from them. Greetings to you and your parents! I would love to meet you one day for a bit of a chinwag. Big up yourself, Mr. Thompson! like Jack said in that comment to David Crystal in episode 455.
Hello, Luke🎉listening to you right now I made a really hard decision to leave my comfortable place and drop something on here. I am Maria, an English teacher and a big fan of you and the great job you have been doing for a pretty long time. I have been listening to the podcast for 3years already. It is such a great inspiration for everyone to keep learning the language. Thank you a lot!!! 🎉
Hi, Luke. You look very nice in that T-shirt. I love the colour. I'm a teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I started watching you on You tube premium this year, but I can't remember when! I enjoy listening to you because your modern RP English is fantastic, you have a beautiful soothing voice and you are good -tempered, funny and very clever. I want to improve my listening skills, enlarge my vocab and revise what I have forgotten, since I 've been teaching pre-teens for the last fifteen years or so. The level is pre-intermediate, so I've forgotten many things. I am fond of various shorts of episodes. (My favourite colour is darker than light blue and lighter than blue). I enjoyed the episode where you were showing París, an old one where you talked about your late teenage, where you travelled to, what career you took up, your favourite band and so on. I liked the way you planned the class about the short story at the campsite, the episode about Gordon Ramsey, lol, the one where you talked about films, lol, the one where Paul Amber copied accents, lol, the one where your father talked about politics, it was very interesting, I liked the one where your mother said that Charles had sausage fingers, etc etc. I thank you so much for your kindness, your HARD work and pleasant talk. I wish you the best, well- deserved holidays on an earthly paradise like the Maldives 😅. I'd love to go there but It's too expensive for me. I'm looking forward to watching your new episode about London. And many others, if possible. I'd like to know about your experience in Italy, please!!!I had an Italian grandma. I would write much more but I think you are too busy to read even longer comments. Cheers🎉🎉🎉
Hallo, Luke. I'm from Ukraine and I've been listening to your podcasts for 1,5 years. We've been living in Nederland for a bit more than 2 years, so speaking English is necessary for me, for making my life. I am video viewer. I really like the ramble episodes and the short stories ❤. And i'm so grateful for you!
Hi Luke, i was a ninja but now I decided to leave a comment, couldn’t resist. I have been living in Sydney for 12 years, only came across your Podcast 2 weeks ago but have been listening to you nonstop as I do like your authenitc style, like your rambling, like your personality, like your humor. Please be you and don’t change a thing. These days we are lacking of human connection, you are a real person on the other end of the world, love to have you around. You are so genuine and down to earth! By the way, congratulations on your recent success of stand up comedy in Paris. Hope one day I can be an audience in the room to cheer you up.
I’ve been listening your podcast since lockdown😊it’s really helpful and actually I feel like family member, I like most every episode, you work hard for everyone to make easier to learn English. Thank you for the intentional work that goes into each podcast. Today's podcast is an example of that❤👍
Hello, Luke! I am one of those ninjas. I have discovered your podcast a few months ago when I was looking for TOEFL materials and could not help but been listening to them ever since on a daily basis. I listen to your podcasts for enjoyment mostly; however, I have learned a good amount of new vocabulary, reading strategies, text analysis, inferencing etc. (despite having received my higher education in the UK). Listening to your podcast, feels like having a conversation with an intelligent friend with a good sense of humour. While listening to your stories, I experience the widest spectrum of emotions - I find myself smiling, laughing, and sometimes crying. The stories you tell are sometimes very eye opening and thought provoking. Your time and energy spent to make each episode are highly valued! Please keep up the amazing work you are doing. By the way, I listen to you from Tajikistan, Central Asia🙂
Hiiiii , Luke! I'm from Belarus and I"ve been listening to your podcast for year+ .and I'm so happy to be a part of LEPland. I love to listen your podcasts from youtube while I'm painting. You are so charismatic, thanks a lot 💜
Hi Luke, I am an Indian living in India. English is my third language. I have been listening to you for two years. Your teaching helped me pick up English fast. Thanks Thomas V. A.
Hi Luke, I really believe you are the best. Very clever idea to teach English with short stories. Your podcast program is absolutely excellent. My regards from Greece-Athens.
Hello, I am from Argentina. I´ve been listening since 2022, I found you by chance and my favourite are short story and rambling about now and then. Grateful to learn with you. Best wishes for you and your lovely family!
I'm 64 and I've been listening to LED for about three years by now. Basically, I like almost all Luke's content but short stories and walk & talk in Paris I like the most. Thanks, Luke, for such interesting and memorable English lessons!
I have decided not to be a ninja anymore because of two reasons. Firstly, I appreciate your podcast, Luke. But the most important reason was the awareness that writing comments here lets me develop my English. I have no idea when I started to listen to Luke`s English Podcast. But I meet you in the episode with your conversation with Lucy, from English with Lucy. I visited your TH-cam channel because of her but stayed for a long time. I follow your channel because of many reasons. I like your sense of humor, your voice tone is very nice and peaceful, and your English is understandable. Otherwise, I share your view about learning English. It is not only about the language. It is also about experiencing interesting and amusing content and you deliver it. I appreciate all episodes with guests. They give a variety of different accents and kinds of speaking English. Sometimes it is difficult for me to catch, but I try to be ready to understand various accents - not everyone speaks as clearly as you. But guests also bring a diversity of topics, backgrounds, and experiences. It makes my perspective wider and lets me choose content that is more interesting for me. I love Amber and Paul episodes. The chemistry between you is natural and nice. Your conversations are dynamic and funny. I also like episodes with members of your family. I`m especially grateful for so personal interview with your wife after your son's birth. I still have in my mind the episode, where you discuss with someone about broad games, especially about Eurobusiness. I also like ‘Learn English through a story’ episodes. I appreciate that you try to choose rides that are not only language-useful but also interesting. I still remember the story about an antique dealer, who pretends a priest, and the story created by AI about the world controlled by AI. Thank you for your work. Your content indeed influences my English skills.
Hello .. I don’t want to be a ninja anymore😂… I have been listening to your podcast for around a year now !!! Congrats you are a great teacher and artist ❤
Hello Luke! I've been listening to your podcast for about 5 years and I couldn't imagine what would I've been doing without it, honestly!!! Moreover, I coaxed my mom to become a LEP listener as well 😅, she particularly likes stories such as The invitation, the umbrella man and doppelganger. So keep on going, since we are always looking forward to learning something fascinating from your labors!!! Cheers!!!
Hello, I am from Turkiye but live in UK for 3 years and I have been listening your podcast for 3 years as well. You are the best podcaster in the world for english, Luke. Thanks for everything you did so far for us.
Hi Luke, I'm a master degree student in translation...I wait your episodes eagerly every time. I get benefits so much, thank you and keep going. I from Syria by the way.
Luke, thanks a lot for your very inspiring podcasts!!!! Your podcasts are really necessary for all those who are keen on learning English. I look forward to your next podcasts! I wish you all the best! Helen
Hello, I am a new ninja as I have begun listening to your podcast just a week ago. Cambridge teacher Ben Gill recommended you among some others in his channel, and I find your rambling very entertaining and useful. I am a 63 student of C1 level from Argentina, who listens to podcasts while doing the housework, which has become not so dull now. So thank you! Another podcast that I find very amusing and good for my English input is "The Wittering Whitehalls". I don't know if I've answered all of your questions but taking into account my ninja personality please consider this quite a success😅Looking forward to listening to as many of your chapters as I humanely can, I say goodbye and thank you before returning back to the shadows
Hi !!! I am a LEPster from Argentina! I love listening to your podcasts mostly stories and jokes. Sometimes I listen you rambling until I fall asleep I dont remember when I started following you, but it was though Lucy 's videos. I listen on TH-cam
Hi Luke! I am not sure you read all of the comments here) but you asked some questions and I'll answer them with great pleasure. I'm an English teacher from Ukraine. I HAVE BEEN LISTENING to your podcast about 3 years. I like your short stories best of all, but each of episodes I'd listened to were very interesting. I used to watch your episods here on TH-cam and it's great that you often give the text on the screen. I usually listen to your podcast while knitting 🧶 so I can listen to the whole episode from the beginning to the end. You make a very easy and comfortable atmosophere wich is very importent on these times especially in my country. I realy like your light and smart sense of humour. I wish your children always have such a perfect teachers as you are😊 May God bless all of us with peace and love❤
Hello, Luke! My name is Dmitriy. I'm 40. I'm a ninja. I am from Russia and Ukraine both. Since 2014 I live in Russia. I've been listening to your podcasts for 10 years. There were several time I had breaks and I was not in listening to you. Once I tried to become a premium listener, but I wasn't manage to do the payment. Often I listened before falling a sleep and then your voice sounded all night long. To my opinion best episodes are this and that one about pink gorilla and I had heard it many times in a good time. Well, once I was sleeping and then through the dream I began to hear ping gorilla episode and it was about in the middle of the story. So, I was dreaming cartoons with pink gorilla. Every sentence was transforming into a picture. It was just once but it is what I good remember.😊
Hi Luke, I'm Enrique from Argentina. I've been listening to your episodes since 2020. I started with your early episodes, where you spoke a bit robotic, and look at you now-you're like the Jimi Hendrix of English. Cheers, Luke!
Hi Luke l am from USA thank you very much for your amazing lessons. Since I have been listening to your lessons l improving English and vocabulary. You are the best teacher. Thank you so much God bless you and your beautiful family ❤
Hi dear Luke. I'm Jesica from Córdoba, Argentina. Thanks a lot for your teaching with humor 😂❤ you certainty have a gift 💫 My level of English is "Understanding Luke when he is by himself", trying to reach "I can understand Luke's friends" level 😅
Hello there. Im from Russia. I've been listening your podcasts for about four years. Thank you very much for helping me out with improving my English ❤.
Hi Luke, I've been listening to your podcast for over a year now and, I have to admit, I'm a ninja and this is my first comment. My name is Asia and I'm from Poland (Poznań). You do a REALLY great job and I love your sense of humour. I like the series "Learn English with a short story" the most, but also conversations with guests. Every topic is interestingly discussed, whether it is about politics, movies, daily life, or tips on how to learn English effectively. Ramble episodes are perfect too. I most often listen to the podcast while training on the elliptical trainer and it is absolutely the best hour spent. Thank you for your work and please don't stop 💙
I tremendously enjoyed the ROBOCOP story! With the nuances of the story, with your unexpected performance at playing one of the best cyborgs the cinema universe has ever known... in a nutshell, it was brilliant! Ps_ The Claire lines were hilarious, I was in tears laughing!
Hello, thank you for your TH-cam podcast. I have been listening it for about 5-6 months. It’s my favourite channel for listening and learning English ❤
What the masterpiece have I just heard?😂 Luke, this bank robber negotiations are even funnier than the boat waving etiquette! And I haven’t even listened to the end yet
Hi Luke, I’m one of the ninjas. I am from Myanmar and currenty in UK. I have been listening your podcast for 3 years. I love your rambling episodes and story episodes, especially when you explain the language. Thank you so much for making learning english more fun! Cheers!
Hello there!✨✨from Belarus 🇧🇾 Istarted listening to Luke English Podcast about 2 years ago after listening to an episode on The Level Up English by Michael Lavers where you were a guest there, and I was so glad that chances led me to listen to Michael’s Episode with you because there was when I became a Lepster😄
Hello, dear Luke! I am from Maringá. Paraná, Brazil. I've been listening LEP for about 2 months. I discovered LEP on TH-cam and I am very glad, then I have been trying to speak English since I had my first English class at school, almost 50 years ago.I never had such a good english class as yours. Listening to your podcasts has helped me a lot. You speak so clearly.
Hi Luke, I have been listening your podcasts since 2023. Great opportunity to ameliorate listening skills. Thank you for your effort and passion. I am vivid listener of your podcasts. 👍👍👍
- Hello, I am from Iraq. I have been listening to your podcast for several months. It's so useful. - I discovered LEP by coincidence when I was looking for lessons to improve my English. - LEP helped me to develop my English, with your podcast, I went from A2 to B1. I'm now somewhere between B1 and B2, and I hope to level up. - I enjoy story episodes to learn English and spend a lot of time with them. but the main problem (( you already know that )) is that the length of the story episodes is so long if it is shorter, that will be good. But, overall, it is not a big or unfixed problem. I always download the PDF, re-read the story write it and check the words meaning and vocabulary, and solve the exercise when it exists. -The style and method of delivery are beautiful and make the follower (especially through video) interact with the story, sure that because you are a teacher and have a lot of experience. - I have a suggestion or request if you add a series or method to teach how you can speak English, because that is the real problem for a foreign person more of them can understand English and maybe write but can't speak ( at least who I know them). Because when we try to talk, we don't know how to spontaneously recall words, even though most of them are memorized. Maybe because we translate from the native to English or something else, I don't know exactly, so if you do that or guide us in a useful way that would be great and we would be grateful to you. - I listened to several podcasts before, but now just listen to yours. - Keep going, I hope more and more success for you. - NOTE (just for fun) {Please stop saying (bay bay bay In the end),(that is just an opinion)}
Just finished another amazing rambling episode. I did the transcribing while listening and watching, which is why it took me two weeks to finish this episode. Thank you, Luke-your podcasts are the best in the world.
Hello, Luke! I'm a brazilian, 19 years old. I started to listen your podcast this year and I'm enjoying too much, thank you for your support, its helping me a lot!
Hello Luke, greetings from Germany! I've been listening to your podcast for about six month now. To be honest, I discovered it by random while surfing on TH-cam. A video of yours, "The Mountain," was recommended to me, and that was also my first video. I listen to both: the audio versions and the TH-cam videos. For me, English, alongside my mother tongue (Hungarian), is probably one of the most beautiful languages ever... and nowadays, you can't avoid English: it's the language of science, business, and entertainment. Among your episodes, I especially enjoy those with your family and, of course, Amber and Paul, as they give me the opportunity to listen to natural conversations between native speakers and pick up some vocabulary and expressions. It has happened to me so many times that I burst out laughing while listening and got some strange looks from other passengers on the train or bus; but Paul's laughter is just so infectious. There are so many episodes that have stayed in my memory; such as Touching the Void, the Sick in Japan episode, your tribute to your grandfather Dennis, the birth of your children, your travel reports and my all-time favorite, Toilets, Titanic, and TikTok. Yes, I also listen to other Podcasts like Teacher Zdenek and The Level Up English Podcast (although not as frequently). I am incredibly grateful and happy (and I believe I speak on behalf of many other LEP‘sters) for the opportunity to learn English in such an entertaining and enriching way. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday and hope you all come back healthy and refreshed. Best regards.

I am from Myanmar.Do you know my country how to listen podcast. The whole podcast are you understand .
Hello Luke. I'm one of the ninjas, I'm from Russia. I've been listening to your podcast for about two years. You're an excellent teacher. Thank you!
Have a nice day 🌻
Hi do you teach French? How can I learn French..?
And the last one lol, my fav colour is BLUE, the asking of the size of the coffee in this ep really made my day,
Thanks Luke, by the way, I have been trying to listen to all the eps of LEP on apple podcast app, after succeeding in doing so, the next ones are going to be the premium ones I promise.

By the way, now I live in Lapland, which is kind of ironic when you ask, "How is it in LEPland?"
I've tried many materials and podcasts but couldn't stick to any except yours.
😊

I am ukrainian and I adore your podcast!
I totally agree
Sending love to you and your family ♥️
My listening skills in 2019 were pretty bad, I remember that I didn’t really understand your brother 😂 but now I do!
I love your rambling episode. I love~❤
I've been listening to LEP for 7months.
Hi, Luke. I am Noura from Saudi Arabia. I have been listening to LEP for around a year, and I really appreciate your work.
I'm not a ninja anymore..
Hello people of the world!
Hello dear teacher Luke!
I have put the video on the pause to say huge thank you for this special opportunity to improve language skills and sound more like a native!
I absolutely love your approach how you treat your multinational audience: with love, respect and much care! ❤
I've been a devoted lepster for 4 years already:)
You’re right in saying that there is a method to this madness🙂
Have a nice holiday🏕🏖🏞🌅🌄
Beautifully written❤ I've also been a lepster for over a year now. I first came across Luke's podcast in the interview with Lucy and when I checked out his channel, it was love at first sight. Since then I don't watch too much of others youtube english learning content, he kind of checks all the boxes for me!
Hi
I'm from Haifa, Israel.

I appreciate what you do 🤗😊
Hello, I am 21 years old from UZB. I have been listening for about 5 minutes 😄 I like this podcast ❤👍
I am from Argentina and I have been listening to your podcasts for eight month. I am very grateful because they have been very useful and funny. I enjoy them a lot.
Hi Luke . I’m from Russia and I’ve been listening to you about a year . Im always glad to hear your jokes and ramblings.
Your cop-bank rober made my day Luke! Thank you very much! I will never forget what hedging language is after this class!
Thank you, Luke. I bumped into your podcast a few weeks ago and it's been a blessing for me. It's entertaining, useful and fun. Thank you very much.
Hi Luke... I'm Shihab from Iraq ..I want to thank you for your podcast... it's present perfect continuous..❤❤

Hi, Luke. I'm from Germany and I've been listening to your podcasts for about 2 years. You're perfect 😍🤩🤩

Moreover, I coaxed my mom to become a LEP listener as well 😅, she particularly likes stories such as The invitation, the umbrella man and doppelganger. So keep on going, since we are always looking forward to learning something fascinating from your labors!!! Cheers!!!

I like your sense of humor. You are a boy in your soul.
Thx so much❤🎉
Hi !!! I am a LEPster from Argentina! I love listening to your podcasts mostly stories and jokes. Sometimes I listen you rambling until I fall asleep

Hi Luke,
I'm Enrique from Argentina. I've been listening to your episodes since 2020. I started with your early episodes, where you spoke a bit robotic, and look at you now-you're like the Jimi Hendrix of English.
Cheers, Luke!

Hello: Luke l'm grateful for your podcast. l'm still learning by listening to your podcast. Thanks!
Cheers!

And what is your eng level now 🙂
Hi, I am from Vietnam.I have been listening to LEP for more than one year. I really like your stories episodes the most. Thanks teacher Luke.
I do not want to be a ninja anymore. I have been listening to your podcast for about 2 months and I love it. I am mexican. Thank you Luke.
Hi Luke, I have been listening your podcasts since 2023. Great opportunity to ameliorate listening skills. Thank you for your effort and passion. I am vivid listener of your podcasts. 👍👍👍
- Hello, I am from Iraq. I have been listening to your podcast for several months. It's so useful.
- I discovered LEP by coincidence when I was looking for lessons to improve my English.
- LEP helped me to develop my English, with your podcast, I went from A2 to B1. I'm now somewhere between B1 and B2, and I hope to level up.
- I enjoy story episodes to learn English and spend a lot of time with them. but the main problem (( you already know that )) is that the length of the story episodes is so long if it is shorter, that will be good. But, overall, it is not a big or unfixed problem. I always download the PDF, re-read the story write it and check the words meaning and vocabulary, and solve the exercise when it exists.
-The style and method of delivery are beautiful and make the follower (especially through video) interact with the story, sure that because you are a teacher and have a lot of experience.
- I have a suggestion or request if you add a series or method to teach how you can speak English, because that is the real problem for a foreign person more of them can understand English and maybe write but can't speak ( at least who I know them). Because when we try to talk, we don't know how to spontaneously recall words, even though most of them are memorized. Maybe because we translate from the native to English or something else, I don't know exactly, so if you do that or guide us in a useful way that would be great and we would be grateful to you.
- I listened to several podcasts before, but now just listen to yours.
- Keep going, I hope more and more success for you.
- NOTE (just for fun)
{Please stop saying (bay bay bay In the end),(that is just an opinion)}
I have been listening LEP for about three years and very happy to met your contents thanks a lot Luke!🙏✨
