Loid does fully accept Yors strength and superhuman abilities. He doesnt suspect theres anything behind precisely because shes so bad at hiding them. As a spy he is so accustomed to dealing with complicated lies, shadiness and subterfuge that Yors genuine clumsiness, straightforwardness and emotionality completely messes up his radar and lowers his walls. In his mind he has decided long ago to trust her as he sees no way someone like her could have survived to this point while trying to live a secondary life. Therefore, her excuse of being a war orphan (he is one too) that needed to become strong in order to raise her brother on her own is more than enough for him.
Plus the one time he did try investigating her left him feeling uncomfortably guilty.
Either that or he's just blinded by love. He admits that being around Yor (and Anya) throws him off his game.

Twilight saw her strength in different occasions. First time episode 2 when she kicked one of the men. He saw it in castle when she was drunk and thought he was a bad guy and went all out. He saw it when she finished the cow. He even experienced her strength while practicing tennis with hr off screen which is why he told Fiona not to go with the challenge.
I think he just sees it as a girl that lost her parents when she was a teenager and had to fend for herself and her brother and learned martial arts like she told him. He knows that since he had to fend for himself as a mere five year old when he lost everyone.

Kinda funny Fiona would’ve win if she just let the ball go, it clearly was about to go straight to the tree without hitting the field and went out of line.
She thought at least though that if she didn't try to hit the ball it was going to kill her.

The fact that Fiona said it went faster than sound and yet still had time to react to it is impressive to both parties. Even if it wasn't actually going that fast, still impressive thought-reaction time.
And besides, Nightfall would try to hit the ball no matter the direction it went
She would probably see evading the ball as admiting being weaker than Yor

Yeah, Loid's seen a few times that Yor is super strong and also probably a good fighter. In the second episode, as you mentioned, and also like when Yor got super drunk during Anya's palace party and was supposed to play-fight with Loid but he recognized she was about to kill him, lol. The reasoning she gave is that she became an expert in self-defense, and for comedic purposes Loid just obliviously believes that and I guess lumped in super-strength as well.
I don't think it's for comedic purposes, I genuinely feel like Loid has no reason to suspect Yor. He's on the lookout for spies not uber assassins. Therefore, he's always trying to pick up lies, deceitful behavior and general sneakiness in people and Yor is kind of the opposite of that. I mean seriously, even if he thought she had to have some kind of extreme hand-to-hand training to pull off what she does or even if he thinks she might be doped up like the brothers in the tennis competition, he has no real reason to care about any of that. Being strong doesn't make you a spy. Yor is extremely earnest and she sucks at lying, she'd never be able to make a good spy and to Loid that's all that matters.
I have theory that Yor is also the result of an experiment like Anya. Like normal people aren't strong to the point of launching a tennis ball at mach speed.
Also Fiona is fast. Like she was able to move out of the way.
She is a member of an organization of assassins, so that theory could be correct.
The problem with Yor is that she’s always doubting herself no matter what Loid says. How many times did he tell her she’s a great wife and mother? Even in front of Fiona in their apartment he said the same thing. He always complements her and lifts her spirits. It’s not his fault she has a self-esteem problem. Even before the match between her and Fiona started he literally told her he won thanks to her. He already validated her before her match with Fiona. He already sees her as amazing regardless of the result of this match. She got the better complement before that match which is so great of Loid. She didn’t even need to win the stupid thing with Fiona, yet she’s so caught up in her own self sabotage nothing is enough. I am talking from experience here. The way she’s feeling is all on her now. Loid did everything he could and more. It’s not fair to expect so much from him all the time. She expect that without even communicating what’s bothering her. This man is working 24/7 and she knows that. He’s there for her yet it’s still not enough. She needs to communicate. She needs to rationalize her inner feelings. Only her can do that. It bothers me that everyone is blaming Loid when he’s doing everything he can for her. He can barely stand on his feet yet everyone around him just keeps wanting more from him. He’s only human.
Exactly, and I like it because it's a pretty realistic picture of people who struggle with self confidence and have no relationship experience. We can't fully hold it against Yor because she is a late bloomer who struggled socially and it's literally the very fist time she navigates through this type of relationship.
@@hikari9433 people definitely shouldn’t hold it again Twilight/Loid too that’s for sure. He is doing his part and way more than his part. I am not holding it against her , I am just pointing out that what she feels is her fault not Loid’s fault. I feel bad for Loid the most in this situation. He’s stuck trying to please everyone while both women fail to see his own struggles.
Yor’s not a “late bloomer,” in the traditional sense; her emotional growth is completely stunted.
We never see her go to school, only get taught from Yuri. She has no friends before she meets Twilight. She’s an orphan. Oh, and she was RAISED AS AN ASSASSIN.

Erm, have you missed the fact that pretty much every caring/supportive thing 'Loid' says to Yor and Anya is a lie?
Twilight says those nice things because that's part of the role he's playing for his mission. Nightfall picked up on the fact that despite his realistic smile, there were still tells (like the way he was holding his hands) when he was reassuring Yor what a great job she was doing, etc.
Yor may not know on a conscious level that Twilight is being dishonest, but she can probably sense it on an unconscious level. It's just like in real-life when someone keeps telling you things that should be perfectly believable if you take them at face value, but your gut tells you something is off.
So Yor is actually completely correct to feel doubt when she's being lied to all the time.
@@user-te5zc9of5s Wow, never in my life did I read a post that literally misunderstood the whole point of the manga/show. I think you should rewatch/reread the whole thing. Twilight dedicated his whole life to the people around him. He’s not lying when it comes to caring about them. He’s literally the most selfless person. Also, you truly need to watch/read that nightfall episode/chapter because she literally said that even though Twilight is smiling that practiced smile, real emotions were literally shining through which is what made her very jealous because she thinks she’s losing Twilight to Yor and Anya. So no, Twilight has nothing to do with Yor self sabotaging. It’s Yor’s own problem.

Yeah, Loid knows Yor is super strong but he doesn't really see that as suspicious. Loid is on the lookout for enemy spies and he does that by identifying lies and shady behaviors. Like he did with Yuri. But Yor is extremely straightforward and almost never lies to him so he's just not seeing her as deceitful because, well, Yor isn't really trying to deceive him. The fact that she doesn't really try to hide her strength and fighting skills just makes them not really suspicious to Loid. After all, Loid is on the lookout for spies not uber assassins and, let's admit it, Yor would get found out immediately if she tried to fake her identity like spies always do.
Many miss it but Fiona could have dodged Yor's ball if she really wanted to to win.
But she knows that for Loid's love, she is willing to take it.
Hate Fiona all you want, but that alone deserves respect.
Consider Fiona as one who represents everyone out there simping for Loid, lol...

In terms of physical strength, absolutely not.
Yor is 100% the strongest character in the series thus far, by a notable margin.
Yor severed Fiona Hadoken or Kamehameha. I loved that❤️❤️ Yor definitely wanted praised Loid and my man better step in game up in that department.
Loid owns Yor nothing. He did more than he has to do. she’s the one who asked for this marriage because it’s important to keep her cover. She needs this family for her cover and to keep her brother from worrying about her. She knows this is a fake marriage and she asked for it, so if she suddenly wants more she needs to be up front about it because as it stands, she has no right to be asking for real marriage commitment when she’s the one who asked for a pretend marriage of convenience in the first place.
I think she’s definitely jealous of Nightfall and definitely doesn’t want to lose her position. She needs to communicate though instead of just expecting something that wasn’t part of the deal.
