    Men's Hoka One One Bondi 7 Running Shoe - The most cushioned shoe in the HOKA road-shoe lineup, the game-changing Bondi 7 delivers a smooth, balanced ride over any distance. Engineered with the same full EVA midsole, breathable mesh upper and signature Meta-Rocker technology as its predecessor, the Bondi 7 is updated with a supremely plush collar. Made from ultra-soft memory foam designed to accommodate a narrower heel, the collar conforms to a wide variety of ankles, cradling the Achilles in cushy comfort. Unquestionably, the Bondi 7 will take you far and wide.
    DETAILS Best For:
    Surface: Road, Gyms, Flats
    Category: Neutral Cushioned - Intended for runners who have a higher, more stable arch that does not pronate excessively(roll inwards) or may even supinate(roll outwards). Neutral Cushioned shoes offer very little or no structure or pronation support and are generally more flexible than stability shoes. Runners who require a neutral shoe tend to notice more excessive wear on the lateral(outside) side of the soles of their running shoes. Neutral shoes can vary from lightweight and minimal cushioning to maximum levels of cushioning depending on the needs and preferences of the runner. Runners with high/stable arches tend to notice pain on the outside(lateral side) of their shins and knees and may also battle plantar fasciitis if not wearing a neutral cushioned shoe.
    Benefits Include:
    Open-engineered mesh construction delivers breathable comfort
    Memory foam collar cradles ankle in plush comfort
    TPU overlays offer additional midfoot structure and support
    Internal heel counter provides a supportive, locked-in fit
    Full-length compression-molded EVA midsole
    Refined early-stage Meta-Rocker for a smooth ride
    Beveled heel design offers a smooth transition and increased durability
    Rubber outsole minimizes weight and maximizes durability
    Specifications:
    Weight: 10.7oz
    Heel-to-Toe Offset: 4mm
    Cushion Level: Max Cushion
    Pronation Support Level: Neutral
    Style: 1110518-BMMO

    I know this is old, but if anyone is wondering, most cushioned shoes have a ton of cushion at the back but the thin out towards the forefoot. Because of this I get pain at the balls of my feet and the hoka and asics nimbus are really good for this because they're cushioned all over

    Loved getting your opinion on running shoes. Is nice getting a view from outside the running world. Going from least cushion to most: rincon, clifton 6 and 7, and bondi models all have good reviews from runners. You got a great price on the bondi 7. I got the 6's on sale last week for just over 100, and I've been waiting forever! I'll throw out some more max cushion shoes: saucony triumph 17, new balance 1080v10, nike react infinity run flyknit, nike react miler, and asics novablast. I have the miler coming soon, but the asics novablast is a weird one that has great reviews this year that no one saw coming, and it might be my fav max cushion shoe. Def doesn't feel like boost though as it's super bouncy. You've prob felt react foam before, but word is that nike is doing something diff with the react in the react infinity run flyknit because it feels softer. Hopefully the bondi 7 grew on you though!

    6.45pm January 2023😊,
    I got the one one bondi 7 last year. It was after I had a Liz Frank fracture. I broke my right foot in 11 places including the ankle. It was miserable, trying to find a good fit. I put the shoes on and walked. I was in heaven, and fortunately it seem like the shoe has shrunk a little. I can’t wear socks, my right toe will scratch the end of the shoe. Even though it’s winter now it doesn’t matter. I still wear them without socks hopefully this year I’ll be able to get a new pair.

    Omg, he did it...he compared them to the 93/17's. Sold.

    • @gilbertoflores7397
      @gilbertoflores7397 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      But the 93/17s aren't/weren't that much more comfortable that the regular ultraboost. It had more boost but wasn't underfoot, but just more boost widening the base, making it very bulky with not direct benefit; like how the alphaboost looks like it had a lot of boost, but most of it you don't feel because your foot sinks into it like a bowl. And the boost your foot felt was just s standard layer.

    • @matthew04101
      @matthew04101 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's been awhile. i think he forgets how eqt 93/17 feels like.
      i just finished watching this video and immediately looked up the shoes. and AL's sporting goods just happens to have it and it's 3 minutes from where i live. so i immediately went there to try them and other popular shoes ( might as well right? ). shoes i tried, Hoka One Bondi 7/6, Clifton 6, Nike Zoom/react, New Balance Fresh Foam. they all feel just like every other foam techs i've tried. nowhere near Adidas EQT 93/17.
      and i own 5 pairs of EQT 93/17. one of them is EQT 93/17 " Bait " and it's the best one out of all 5 pairs i got.
      if you weigh around 135 lb, nothing can beat EQT 93/17 " Bait " version.

    • @RetroKid
      @RetroKid 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@matthew04101 I copped the 93/17 on Hes' recommendation of it being the boostiest boost shoe that ever boosted...and he was right. I own Ultraboost, nmd v2's, pure boosts, solar boosts energy boosts and everything in between, but nothing matches the 93/17 in terms of that sheer feeling of sinking into the midsole.
      I've been searching for something comparable or better since my first pair of 93/17's, and have only found the Peak Tai Chi and New Balance Fuel Cell to be anywhere close.
      Everything I've tried is soft and mushy, but I still haven't found mushier than the 93/17.

    • @matthew04101
      @matthew04101 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RetroKid i don't know which 93/17 you copped but the upper part of 93/17 Bait is a lot better than the regular 93/17.
      i own 3 pairs of Ultraboost and didn't like them. they're too stiff for me. nmd and solar boosts energy are even stiffer, so i didn't bother to cop them.
      i have one pair of Adidas SenseBoost Go and i find the boost is softer than UltraBoost. Adidas SenseBoost Go looks more " normal " than 93/17 and they feel nice and i got them in exclusive Nordstrom colors which look nice, so i ended up wearing them most the time.
      i literally just bought Peak Tai Chi today. i'm excited to try them when they come.

    • @matthew04101

      @@nerdbamarich2063 There's a difference between being on your feet all day, and walking all day, I can do up to 20,000 steps per shift, the Hoka Bondi are super comfy, feel great, but by the end of a shift with lots of walking, your legs ache, because I think as they as much softer, your legs have to work harder, where the Brooks addiction walker are a little firmer and more natural for actual walking I believe. Between bondi 7 and 6, the midsole is same. Slight changes to upper. I bought bondi 6 for clearance. Bought it for running, but it’s too plush for me. Could be great for jogging. Doing half marathon in them feels like nothing. I just can’t pick pace in them.

    1km strip of white sandy beach has rightly earned its reputation as one of Australia's top surfing & sunning spots. Crikey, you bunch of drongos - it's BON / DIE - like; "If this BS keeps up someone's going to *die* ." The *Hoka Bondi* sneaker is named after Bondi beach! Māori are the islanders who are part of New Zealand & Australia & is the language that gave rise to 'Hoka One One' (OH-NAY OH-NAY) i.e. _"to fly over the earth"_ G'day

    Do they have any proprietary technology? Like, adidas has boost, puma has nrgy/ignite, Nike has various air variants etc etc. Hoka seems to just use the basic EVA, exept it's super thick?
    And crocs foam is also proprietary.

    Was just at the running shoe store to try on some Hokas (Arahi) - as I have flat feet. Echo the cushion-feel that everyone else is saying. It almost feels like hollow air is present in a different way than Ultra Boosts - and have a significant rolling motion where your feet are never fully flat against the ground. Ultimately thought they felt good, but perhaps not my cup of tea from a "casual perspective." I could see myself getting a Hoka for trails/hiking though.
