I have an OVS 270 awning on my Overkill Trailer. First trip in July in Stanley, a gust of wind snapped the the two rear spreader bars! I called OVS when I got home and explained the the problem. They asked for a shipping address and I received the two new poles in a week. No charge! Thats customer service. Now I always use the poles and tie downs. Great awning.
These spots are not cheating at all. Having stuff like that close to home is a big reason why I moved to Boise. It’s just about getting out and enjoying it. This is awesome, dude.
So cool. I wonder if the bald eagle fam was around back then too. Would have loved to see it with the treetop in place. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!!!
Just mentioned in a comment on Fletch's channel that I believe I'm most jealous of you out of all the channels I watch. You are so close to such amazing locations. I've lived in a state pretty much all my life that everyone wants to visit, but it's definitely not for the scenery (FL, and the beach doesn't count cause I hate the beach). Your area is definitely on my list of places I want to get to one day.
This trip was bananas...it blew us away and we live here...these places were only 1 hour from our front door..that's insane...We couldn't ask for a better overlanding hometown...but we don't get the beach....and that's a bucket list thing for me...camping on the beach. Really appreciate you watching and commenting. DM if you are looking for Idaho routes!
Love your channel- especially as I'm from Nampa. My TJ isn't set up for overlanding but you're right - We've got some amazing places right close to home !
So glad to hear this!! I love Nampa…just read about the Notorious Native American from whom the name Nampa came..what a crazy story…and you can bet I’ll feature it in a video 😀. If you’re out in your TJ and you see a white JK with a nerd and a camera…please come say hi! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
We are new to Overlanding and are from Twin Falls. Have a 99 Tahoe at it's early stages of exploring; Planning some trips near and to the East and Western sides of the state. Maybe next year a adventure to Canada by way of Idaho vast Forest Service Rd and as many Historical Museums of our Beautifull State.
Twin Falls is an awesome jumping off point...Craters of the Moon, City of Rocks, Jarbidge NV, Owyhees - all right there! Plus in a just a few hours you're in the Sawtooths and Pioneers!! That's so cool on your adventure plans...thanks for sharing!!! We're actually hitting the Idaho BDR this year, which is 1200 miles of dirt road from Jarbidge NV to the Canadian Border...can't wait! For sure that’s a great route…we’ve driven part of it. From Twin you could drive up to Trinity Mointain via Pine, then hit that section of the BDR all the way to Yellow Pine..or even loop back around to Berdorf and Riggins. You should look at Copper Basin (we have a vid on it) as well.

Videos like this are lifechanging. My brother and his wife are about to have their 3rd child (in a short amount of time. She definitely misses her drinks) and I'm a bit younger but need to get on it (whole 'nuther story). One of the things my brother asked me is to keep "camping" alive in the family.
