So true! There's something about problem solving on the trail that gives you a different kind of wisdom than just getting the right answer on a test. So glad you're liking the series..I literally can't wait to create the next two vids..they are such amazing memories of a very very wild Idaho.
Thanks for the great video. Been going around those areas since 2003 and they certainly have become more populated as you mentioned. However there are still great places to go if one is willing to go off the beaten path.
I so agree. I grew up here, and left for a bit after college, so I've seen just how much more crowded it has become. That said...it's still Idaho...still LOTS of places to go find yourself alone on a mountain or river. Love this place.
Timing is everything, this area is top of my list for next summer's trip and here you are giving me planning inspiration, thank you! Your all around video quality is out of the park!
Thank you!!! Soooo much more to come on this trip..it's really an incredible route...so many stories to learn along the way..and so much is very very wild. It's really cool to hear you're digging the videos!!
Thank you! The Boise river(s) are one of our favorite places to explore. It always beautiful back there! Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment!!
woo that last campsite was gorgeous. great job capturing the moment 👏. thanks for sharing the adventure. I also really like how you add the way points on the map during your video. such a great animation that clues us in to the general area. looking forward to the next video, and podcast 😀.
Keep ‘em comin’, my man. This video is awesome. The Middle Fork area and that one spot in particular is incredible. Those shots took me back to our trip there earlier this year.
You missed some great views across Banner Ridge and going down Archie Creek. There is a few of those road closed signs that I think they just forgot about. We run into them all the time while hunting and exploring the area. It looks like you got to meet my mom also, she works at the Lowman gas station in the summer. Saw her car when you pulled in.
The gas station used to be just a little more than Garden Valley until it got new owners. They are squeezing every penny. I now haul extra gas and pass by. Love stopping and supporting business, but it's just a little to "gougy" for me. Deadwood is awesome!
I feel ya there. I think I paid $9/gallon. But I literally had no choice. I love Deadwood - but in the summer, it's overrun with people and ATVs. I've stayed there multiple times, and this time was by far the most crowded...so I think next time we might stop for a swim, but stay somewhere on the outskirts. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!!
Hey, found your channel randomly and loving the content! Now I'm binge watching your videos chronologically, lol. Keep up the great work ✌️💪 Quick question, did you lose monetization by using those songs in that video, even for a few seconds?
@@Venture2Roam I will bring it down if my truck is sliding a bit. Midway to Robinson's Creek, I had stopped because the traction was little to be desired. I am more careful if I am dealing with a cliffside. Sometimes if the road is rough, but an open plain like in Wyoming, I will roll with full psi.
100% the first two sections can be done by a sprinter-type camper van or sportsmobile. I wouldn't try to take it to the top of Golden Gate Mountain outside of Yellow pine...but there were a ton of campgrounds all over that would work great for a van. Thanks for watching Chance!!
@@Beauty_and_TheBeard yep. It’s nice to have the extra traction when going fast, and when things get dicey, I’d rather already be in 4WD. I never understand why people brag about not using 4WD…it’s a massive reason we drive the rigs we have, and I’m of the mindset that we shouldn’t use it sparingly when on dirt.
@@Beauty_and_TheBeard It's just a different way of thinking about it. Yes things might wear out if they are used more...but I'd rather replace a driveshaft 3/4 of the way through a trip than slide of a ledge on a flat road sharp corner, or get hung up on boulder during a climb. To each their own...it's just my way of off-road driving, and I don't think there is a 100% right or wrong way to do it.
You never live if you don't adventure, problems only lead to more experience!! I'm absolutely loving this series

Finally someone plays good music. Not sad tunes. 👍
Thanks! Overlanding is definitely not a sad activity 😂
Best video yet! Absolutely perfect… that’s the formula right there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dang man…that’s a huge compliment. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Music choices are spot on! Love it - bring on Part 3
Thank you! Music is so hard lol. Part 3 coming soon!!!!
dude, your edits are on point 👊
Thank you sir..learning from the best
Binge watching this series at the moment (30 days with no TH-cam 😂). Awesome stuff Will, really enjoying this!

You continue to capture the heart and soul of this trip! Great job brother!!
Thanks bro. What an adventure we had.
Looking forward to many more!

Another great video! Idaho will definitely be in the bucket list for future trips.
Thank you!! It’s a fantastic overland trip. More coming soon!
Yes! Here we go!
❤❤❤
Incredible! We're baffled how you get all that footage and travel!
Lol thank you. We had a lot of cameras going on that trip…but it still never feels like enough!
This is a great channel! I live in Eagle Idaho and are relatively new to overlanding. This content is def motivational.
Thank you! So glad to hear a local is watching!
What amazing video footage. Wish I could have been there for the whole thing!!!! Beautiful 🤩
Me too!!

Thanks Nick!! Ya - the Boise River is such an incredible asset on our backyard. Looking forward to editing our recent trips!!
@@Venture2Roam Where I drive in Idaho, roads aren't such that you can drive over 20mph and many places are best done at under 5mph.
@@PatrickThreewit I drive many of those types of roads too. It’s nice to have variety.
You put on a nice production! Inspires me to get out and explore.
Thank you! Hope you get out there soon. Really appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Lets goooo!!!!! Watching tonight Will 🤙🏻🔥
Right on!!! Hope you enjoy!
Awesome video Will! Edit was on point and man wish I could’ve joined you guys. Looking for more videos of this trip 🙌🏽
Thanks Gari. Definitely getting up to BC to hang sometime.
I'm a bit behind and catching up ... nice work

So glad to,hear it!! I use a licensing service that has charted songs, so I don’t lose monetization.
@@Venture2Roam Thanks for responding! ✌️
you could stop in mccall and get gaws from yellowpine to warren
That scenario actually plays out a bit in Part 3.
What was your air psi in your tires for this trip?
We were running somewhere between 10 and 15 for most of the route.
@@Venture2Roam That is low. I was thinking 25. I will run 10 to 15 when I head out there. Thanks.
@@DHaworth100 I aimed for 15, but temps and elevation made it fluctuate. I never thought it felt too low.

So do you think a camper van can travel along the road? No real obstacles?
Looks like a good trip!

Why 4 high
Traction.
@@Venture2Roam for that long on mostly flat dirt roads

What do you mean "We Journey to the Unkown Parts of Idaho"? You are telling me there are parts of Idaho that no one knew existed?
“Unknown” is used as a relative adjective, not an absolute one.
It’s part of the new world update. What version are you currently running?
I didn't know any of these places, having never been before.
not being a karen sounds great with the tunes........but how are you able to play legit tunes on your videos /
I use a licensing service that provides these types of songs. It’s called Lick’d.
Good video
Thank you!!
