The one way clutch on the reaction member is a roller ramp type in this case. A sprague uses s shaped segments to lock up in one direction.

I read in the owners manual of a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck automatic in a case of emergency you can push start it like on a standard transmission. Anybody wish to comment on this. Thanks

hi, it also has a rear pump that allows you to be able to push start...but with a heavy vehicle like that good luck. cheers
