Great vid, ive been using prolific for a long while now and find its perfect for having in the background while you study, the extension is a must and the spare time you have is perfect to finish off what you're doing and get to the study to complete it.
Another excellent video pal. Really like the way you research and share your experiences honestly and clearly without faff.

How you doing on prolific now I finally got accepted after waiting 3 months but im a bit disappointed with it not very prolific with amount of studies you get 3 days in £20 working on it all day waiting (12 hours a day checking it) had one of them was £11.90 paid take that out its £3 pound a day

On your spreadsheet the calculation for the hourly rate is incorrect. I see how you got £12.46, but if you earned £28.81 in 3hrs and 3mins your actual hourly rate is £9.45.
Thanks man :) And the £12.46 you're seeing is the average hourly wage of the surveys, you're right the total hourly rate would be £9.45, but average of the surveys I did was £12.46, I should've explained that in the video my bad :)

I still don't understand the hourly wage part on prolific. I only ever get the guaranteed amount unless the study says there's a bonus.
Can i maximize the time? like if the survey maximize time is 30minutes but the average is 6 minutes? can i make i slow?

It does . It used to auto convert through PayPal when it got put in your PayPal account. Recently they started paying Americans in USD to cut back on the confusion

How slow are you in taking surveys? I've been with Prolific since 2018 and I make $1000 a month with them and I've never had a survey take over 30 min. And that's like a $10 survey

I tried a couple of times a while ago to join Prolific but I never even got a reply let alone a refusal. Should it really be that hard to join? Please have you any advice? Could I be going about it the wrong way?
It takes months to get off the waiting list, so that may be why.

As long as it's from prolific. They are a reputable company and sometimes need info like that for tax purposes or other fraud prevention purposes. If you're doing a survey and the survey asks for it it's not safe. If that happens report the survey because the researcher who created the survey might be trying to scam you

Hlw bro...my cousin..her name is nowmi...she have a prolific account...for work rejection they blocked her....can she open a another account by using same identity?
She can't they require ID and if she is banned sadly it will tell her that
Why would they block her unless they noticed she wasn’t answering truthfully because they do random “attention check” questions she must’ve got red flagged and banned.

You can if you fail certain attention check questions which they sometimes use to make sure your paying attention and not just clicking random answers
