In this video, I document my journey of creating a children's storybook using AI and Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). By using the power of AI, specifically ChatGPT and Midjourney, I was able to generate unique storylines, characters, and illustrations for my book.
Using the AI-generated content, I then formatted and published my book on Amazon KDP, which is an online platform that allows authors to self-publish their books and sell them on Amazon. With Amazon KDP, I had full control over the pricing, distribution, and promotion of my book.
After one month, I checked back to see the profit results, and I was thrilled to find out that the book was a best-seller in the children's book category on Amazon. The sales exceeded my expectations, and I was able to make a significant profit from my book.
In this video, I share my process of using AI to generate content, the steps I took to format and publish my book on Amazon KDP, and the strategies I used to promote my book to reach a wider audience. I also provide tips on how to optimize your book listing on Amazon, such as using relevant keywords and categories, creating an eye-catching cover, and soliciting customer reviews.
If you're interested in self-publishing your book, or curious about the potential of AI in the publishing industry, this video is a must-watch. You'll learn how to use AI to generate unique and engaging content, how to self-publish on Amazon KDP, and how to market your book for maximum profits. Don't miss out on this exciting and innovative approach to children's book publishing!

MidJourney has trouble creating more than one descriptive character in a single image. The best thing to do is create both characters independently using separate prompts, and then composite them together with Photoshop (the latest beta of Photoshop also includes AI prompts, and allows you to be more specific about individual areas of the image that you want to focus on. However, that's an additional cost, and requires some skill with Photoshop art editing.

ChatGPT is the simplest and handiest tool; I love it.

How do you credit the book? Do you out yourself as the author? or how do you disclose that it is Ai-generated?

I wish you'd just said you made 0 up front because I actually watched the whole thing through and was going to try it myself

Thank you for sharing your process.
I'm wondering if you're having any better luck with Midjourney character consistency with the new v5.1 version of the software? I haven't used it, but I'm considering it, and one thing I noted from others that are using it is that they were able to get better character consistency by giving the characters names which you may want to try. So, for example, rather than a squirrel and a snail, write the prompt as Alex the squirrel and Snidley the snail and see if that helps.

MidJourney v5.1 is still problematic with generating multiple detailed characters in the same image. The AI technology is still in its infancy, so it should get much better as time goes by. But at the moment, its easier to use separate prompts to create each character individually on a blank canvas, then generate the background (e.g. forest path) by itself, and then composite all of the individual elements together in Photoshop and then use Photoshop Beta's AI text prompt to add details to small targetted areas.

For mid journey I find it helpful to drip feed (if that makes sense). I add what I want in the image one by one. I tend to focus more on what's in the image than what should not be in the image. It seems LLM's are yet to fully understand negative statements.

You can add the --no filter to disinclude elements from an AI picture. If there are multiple things you want omitted, then separate them with commas. For example --no water, humans, backpack
It doesn't always obey, though. You can also add weights to certain things to tell the AI how much influence you want that particular thing to have in the image. Again, not perfect though. I'd like it if they allowed you to use color boxes to drag around the area to show where exactly you'd like certain things added. Like that Nvida AI tech.

If I published my book on kdp so will it appear on Kindle app for readers?

If you create a Kindle e-book, then yes it will be on both.

Hello, I have already uploaded 10 books well-drawn in neural networks with a script from AI. ZERO sales in 30 days. Something does not work. Even better than what you drew. Possibly bad covers

Did he just say “he’s doing all the work”? This is what the human race has come to? Lazy people with no talent pretending the created something because they typed a prompt and flooded an online store with garbage ai books no one wants to read unless they are fooled by the pretend author?

....or you could ask ChatGPT for mid journey prompts. That babe is damn smart if you know what to tell her and how to tell her

ChatGPT doesn't know what MidJourney is, because it's knowledge bank's cutoff date is September 2021. Since MidJourney was released after this, ChaGPT is not familiar with it. We'll need to wait for OpenAI to update ChatGPT with up-to-date data.
