This is by far the best review of this camera by far! Its so nice to see them side by side. I know the wolfang is only 50 quid but compaired to the gopro its like a recording from an old phone its chalk and cheese. I still have my 720P first gen HD hero and I think that will be as good as the wolfang. I think this has made my mind up that im just going to save up for a Gopro as the saying goes by cheap by twice really. Cheers!

But GoPro them selves have a offer on the Hero 9 it's only 200 notes brand new. I might buy a wolfang as a spare or outside vehicle camera. Look forward to seeing the other camera mind.

I started with a cheap £50 action camera, it did the job, it allowed me to get started, it wasn't long before i was upgrading to a GoPro, and when watching my old cheap GoPro videos back, they're almost unwatchable lol, great honest review mate, ideal for kids etc 👍

Thanks for the vid. Just bought one on sale for 35 bucks for my kids. Happy it's a good starter and if it breaks, well they've broken more expensive things.
Im not gonna lie some of you saying "night and day" but i think the wolfang does really well its smooth and not really noticeable if the oerson doesn't know what camera your using anyway. The go pro mainly has more vibrant colors. But u could add thaat in editing. Im getting wolfang thanks for this video
Great review! As you say this is not up to GoPro standard but i think its not made to be. For £50 sounds it seems like a good deal for someone on a budget.
Definitely not going to rival the GoPro however it can very well be used as a vlogging camera especially if you have some editing skills or even if you don't. It's certainly a excellent little inexpensive device to use on family vacations and such
I just bought this wolfang off a fella at work , brand new unopened for £20 it’s just for a bit of fun on holidays and I’ll use 4K as I’ll use it hand held for some photos videos that’s it . And like you said if I lost it damaged it or even knicked lol o could laugh it off
now I've got sad, I really need a cam to use for my vlogs but the budget is too tight 😢 I thought wolfang could help 🙃. Thanks for this video. very informative. take care and Godspeed ❤
If you gat the wolfang on the waterproof case, you will no record audio that is the reason the you get an extra cover the is no waterproof like that you can recording audio with the waterproof case on it
All the audio you hear on my vlogs is from the GoPro with a media mod attached, no external mic. This gives a better mic but does cost about £80. For me it’s worth it.
Wolfang can not compete with GoPro in tech specs and image quality. However for me every GoPro is a looser when compared with similarly priced action cams from other brands. I never had a GoPro and I'll never buy one for one simple reason - most important for me is reliability and GoPro is unreliable unlike my Sony and DJI cameras which work every time all the time. So regarding conclusion of this review I would suggest to recommend DJI Osmo Action - first generation - it's quite cheap used and it works, I know because I have two of them and use them frequently alongside my Sony Action Cams.
Interesting comment, I've never used a DJI Osmo Action so can't give an opinion but I would agree with you about the Gopro's reliability, it's terrible. My dubious record for my Gopro 10 to freeze is 5, on just one bike ride! Very frustrating.
i used a denver 5030w. cheap action cam. in caves and give good results. that model is not maked anymore. please look for results to: wandelen met johan. (you can see a cheap action cam in a dark and difficult area with much water in the air)

I have just bought the GA100 and I’m having trouble with audio 😢 it’s so jumpy!
Audio is poor, I used my GoPro to get round that issue

When doing the video footage comparison the ga100 was in the waterproof case which would distort some detail
My son took a similarly cheap action camera on a school skiing trip and got some great memories. Not great quality but worth having in the future

Just bought one of these purely for underwater use. First impressions are good however it doesn’t appear to come with a SD card
Having to think back, don’t think it came with an SD card but as I already had quite a few I didn’t pick up on this

Does this have bluetoooth
You can connect the camera using bluetooth to an app, but I never used it, so can't comment on how well it works.

So, the audio from the gopro is built in, there is no external microphone hid up your shirt, everything we hear from your vlogs are from internal mic?

What body mount is that you are using and does it fit the wolfang
I was using a GoPro chest mount which does fit with the Wolfang
No, but cheapo's are more than adequate for most people, if you want the silky smooth video still looks like you need to outlay a bit (a lot) more.
I did try & say that, but think depending on the situation it will do fine.
For the money the cheaper camera is great but the go pro is clearly a better product overall

Go pros are over rated, i bought the wolfang ga200 and i think its better than my go pro.
