I'm in Mason Tx. I arrowhead hunt in Streeter at a friends land 4000acres. We found a cave with indian pictures on the walls , I found 7 mounds under a bunch of cedar trees one day ... all the same size but one.... all about 3ft. By 6ft. But one was much smaller like 2 × 4... his land is so rich with artifacts and mounds.. I wish he was still alive . I have alot of stories about encounters on his land ... and sack fulls of spearheads and arrowheads, tools ect...he passed away a few years ago.. his land went from the junction Highway all the way dead ends to the Llano river.. by the bluehole , or famous swimming hole here..I love the Tx. HILLCOUNTRY
I grew up on the Llano River from Junction to where the river meets the Colorado River in Kingsland, my mama's ashes are that River and what this man is telling you is facts about artifacts. Thanks for sharing Steve.👍
Hi would you like to go on a weekend trip to a petroglyph site ? There are literally hundreds of nice petroglyphs to view and take pics of . I am in central Texas .
Howdy I'd skimmed over your video sometime ago and have now just watched it in his entirety I'm in the Lockhart area near that to you in relative terms it would seem what is it that you found behind The Rock two years prior you had mentioned, and also what do you know about the Caddo people or the dog people? I've collected some fantastic specimens in the recent past few months though I'm taking a break and would like to learn more though I have been researching tirelessly to supplement my field work would love to hear any info you have with regards to the culture or overlap of cultures it would seem that any maps that define any specific tribe to a certain region doesn't seem to be totally accurate in its borders thank you and love the video by the way
No problem Steve, that river is my favorite place on earth. Spent a lot of time out at camp Holland in Mason County as a kid. Now I take my kids out to Slab and Longs when the weather let's us.
Those aren’t plates. There old axe heads. All of them. They all would have been hafted to handles. I’ve found the same tools in mass at a wood harvesting site. Mississippian in age, and none of those big tools were hand tools. They all would have had handles. You’re talking 1400’s or closer in time.

What kind of tepee did they have ?
I wonder what happened that the natives of that area just left everything as is and never and never went back.
What's a rub
Hey somewhere I appreciate your comment also
Live in Kingsland nice video like walking the llamo you ever been to longs
yes i have been to longs camp
I’m in Kingsland too, let’s go
Are you putting on your mask outside alone? 😮
Its Texas and 115 degrees on rocks
It’s to protect from the sun, not the china virus.
No metates?
Outstanding find, right there in plain view. Seems like they just left everything and took off. That’s for the video!
Teepees in Texas?
We’re the tools laying there as you filmed? If so that is truly amazing!
The only thing able to move them off the rock would be either a tornado or a tree falling haha
Pretty much right there especially the larger stuff
I have to say not really believing his theory on the "plates"
leave a comment
A good spot all fact within are correct
Look an Indian tree in the BACKGROUND!
filmed with a potato
That is the funniest reply I have ever received
lmao faf.
Not plates. Geez the masks say a lot.
