No metates?
random rocks lol. also there are no indian tools in the US. Go to india for that.
lmao faf.
What kind of tepee did they have ?
I hunt here in Milam Texas I found three arrow heads yesterday and also a pestle
Those aren’t plates. There old axe heads. All of them. They all would have been hafted to handles. I’ve found the same tools in mass at a wood harvesting site. Mississippian in age, and none of those big tools were hand tools. They all would have had handles. You’re talking 1400’s or closer in time.
I wonder what happened that the natives of that area just left everything as is and never and never went back.
Im just taking a guess but the tooth is a a tooth not 2. Looks like the root an fom something carnivores. Amazing find ❤
Not plates. Geez the masks say a lot.
115 degrees in texas that's why the mask
Are we really not going to discuss the perfectly straight carved lines in the rock at the 2 min mark?!???🤔
What's a rub
Your rock is not a shaft straighter. I have the very same edition of that book.
My people call it corn.
Thank you for sharing this video . 👍
maybe rubbing hides ,stretching hides buckskin production
Amazing
Are you putting on your mask outside alone? 😮
Its Texas and 115 degrees on rocks
It’s to protect from the sun, not the china virus.
great video enjoyed seeing the finds
Beavers as relentlessly destructive as democrats.
That book must be super old because it's wrong. The only way to straighten wood is with heat. How could that even work straightening wood? I think you found two geo facts. Those "groove's" don't look intentional. The points look good though.
Another crackpot not one of those are a artifact
I'm in Mason Tx. I arrowhead hunt in Streeter at a friends land 4000acres. We found a cave with indian pictures on the walls , I found 7 mounds under a bunch of cedar trees one day ... all the same size but one.... all about 3ft. By 6ft. But one was much smaller like 2 × 4... his land is so rich with artifacts and mounds.. I wish he was still alive . I have alot of stories about encounters on his land ... and sack fulls of spearheads and arrowheads, tools ect...he passed away a few years ago.. his land went from the junction Highway all the way dead ends to the Llano river.. by the bluehole , or famous swimming hole here..I love the Tx. HILLCOUNTRY
Very cool
I have to say not really believing his theory on the "plates"
Howdy I'd skimmed over your video sometime ago and have now just watched it in his entirety I'm in the Lockhart area near that to you in relative terms it would seem what is it that you found behind The Rock two years prior you had mentioned, and also what do you know about the Caddo people or the dog people? I've collected some fantastic specimens in the recent past few months though I'm taking a break and would like to learn more though I have been researching tirelessly to supplement my field work would love to hear any info you have with regards to the culture or overlap of cultures it would seem that any maps that define any specific tribe to a certain region doesn't seem to be totally accurate in its borders thank you and love the video by the way
Because of wild animals, Indians never cook, clean, nor store meat where they sleep
Thank you Steve ! Appreciate your knowledge ! Take care !🙏🏻🖖🏻
Video in landscape please.
Stupid
GOOD FINDS
OK dude.
Teepees in Texas?
Very interesting Mate, It's much better if you hold your phone in landscape (sideways) not portrait. I'd love to live in Texas I'm sick of Australia haha ✌️💚🍄
What's great is you are showing this stuff still right in the field where they lived. Context is everything.
Love your vids. Tip: Hold phone sideways when outside.
Ok thanks
Wow, great stuff. Thanks.
Thanks for doing this. Very informative. More : )
We’re the tools laying there as you filmed? If so that is truly amazing!
The only thing able to move them off the rock would be either a tornado or a tree falling haha
Pretty much right there especially the larger stuff
How you holding up old man?
Outstanding find, right there in plain view. Seems like they just left everything and took off. That’s for the video!
Thanks for this , I am about ready to change the filter out on my WM35. Did you have to bleed air from the fuel filter and press the manual fuel feed pump ? ( I am reading through the maintenance manual ) thanks
I look forward to comments so feel free to leave one after viewing Thanks
Hey somewhere I appreciate your comment also
Hey Justin I appreciate your comment
No problem Steve, that river is my favorite place on earth. Spent a lot of time out at camp Holland in Mason County as a kid. Now I take my kids out to Slab and Longs when the weather let's us.
The game ball that you found in Pearsall where was the general area you were in?
I was on a state dove hunt lease dont exactly remember but I could pin point everything else in my collection
I grew up on the Llano River from Junction to where the river meets the Colorado River in Kingsland, my mama's ashes are that River and what this man is telling you is facts about artifacts. Thanks for sharing Steve.👍
Thanks justin
Wow I've learned so much in this video than any other video I've ever seen. Thank you Steve!
Interesting!
Don't overlook the big stuff. Sometimes we become so focused on finding points that the larger tools go unnoticed. Thanks for sharing your finds, best of luck in future searches. Happy hunting! And fishing.
Thanks for taking the time to vid and post this. Maybe not useful to a lot of people, but I have a WM 40 and this was just what I needed! This filter engineering a fail but otherwise love the tractor and ease of maintenance.
Big sumbiches haha
