I just love how Dimash likes to make us use our imaginations trying to figure out what's going on and surprises us at the end, just like in When I've Got You! So funny and entertaining as well as blowing us away with his voice! He adds so much dimension to my life, I just am so grateful for all the love and life he infuses us with! Hey, you don't have the latest information, Dimash didn't take a course at a film school in LA. He gave this place to another talented Kazakh and started producing his music himself. He benefits from his connections in the USA, he has great friends in the film industry, and that's why he makes more and more interesting music videos😍
@@klikakateThanks ! Who's the Kazakh student ? I wasn't aware. He's been CEO and sole head of the production company, and creative source since grad school graduation, his Dad runs daily operations, once the foremost music producer in Eurasia and successful vocalist himself. I grew up there, my dad's a petroleum engineer there and my sister went to uni with him. Our parents friends working on charities together and to my knowledge they have had representation in the US and abroad for years. After Under One Sky dropped, within weeks LA top executives and artists were knocking on his door and at their invitation, he spent 3 weeks with David Foster and his peers there cementing past relationships and future projects. Years ago they did an international search and hired a strategic planning firm that shared their personal perspective and values. A plan for his educational and career path was drawn and as far as I know he has adhered to it with few deviations ( covid) and still works closely with the firm. He remained a FULL-TIME honors student and performed at the same time his entire career ! Now writing his Doctoral thesis for his PhD in Composition, a task so difficult it often takes years. Few qualify for the program, fewer complete it, and works full-time. No doubt he will complete it in record time Ha ! My very best wishes to you and those you cherish ! ❤️
@@klikakate Who is the Kazakh student ? According to his Mother in private, and his favorite teacher in a Kazakh TV interview it's him ! Flying in and out for concerts and meetings carefully scheduled around his studies. Years ago, they did an international search and hired a strategic planning firm to map out an educational and career plan, film school a part and to my knowledge, with the exception of covid, he's stayed on target and has had US representation for years. He's been producing for years as well, he and his production company filmed for a German TV special featuring 5 young adults from around the world who are drastically changing their industries and at David Foster's (multi Grammy winner) and other high level executives and artist's invitations, spent 3 weeks in LA last year cementing relationships and future deals.

How can you not fall in love with Dimash when he is a bad boy, of course without socks, in (devilish) red and with sensual movements that make the girls dance for him like on strings (like in the performance video) ... and that voice! It gets into you and you become addicted and just want more Dimash. Even evil gangsters forget everything when listening to Agent DQ's “siren song” and just want to dance. (Official Music Video)

Excerpts from the DimashNews (DN) interview with music producer Dmytro Gordon (DG):
DN: Dmytro, for 8 years you have been working alongside Walter Afanasieff in his company WallyWorld as a lead orchestrator and arranger, and you both have also written music for films.
(Dimash's friend and world-famous American music producer Walter Afanassieff plays a small role in the video: He wears a checked blue shirt over a white shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses and is one of the gangsters who drive up in the car and bring the drugs.)
What are the similarities and differences between producing music for renowned artists in the US and working with Dimash?
DG: „I would say that Dimash is much more open to experimentation than any other artist I have had the pleasure of working with so far. When it comes to an established artist with an existing fan base, they and their label are usually very cautious about trying new styles, new vocal techniques or anything that might confuse or alienate their core audience. And that makes sense, but the catch is that after a while their repertoire stagnates.
Dimash is the bravest artist I know to date: he deeply respects and cares about his dears, but he's not afraid to try new things, which he proves time and time again, including his latest releases. On a personal level, our collaboration has also evolved into a friendship, for which I'm forever grateful. It's much more authentic and fun to make music as friends, rather than just as collaborators. Ask the Beatles.
SMOKE... is completely modern, even experimental in certain aspects. Yes, it has an operatic vocalise in the choruses, but the context in which we hear it makes it impossible to pigeonhole it into a genre. It's also minimalist and open when it comes to the vocal melodies, harmonic content and instrumental textures (though it's not easy, and Dimash's unique vocal skills still shine through). Every musical decision in Smoke is super precise: take one thing away, and the song falls apart. Add another element - and it becomes oversaturated. That's how I would describe it.
... It's such a joy and an incredible privilege to work with Dimash, who I truly consider to be one of the best musicians in human history.
And then to receive all the love and gratitude from his fan base just feels heavenly. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported these new releases and who took the risk with us to open their hearts and ears to the new, unknown sides of Dimash. As for the new works - I don't want to spoil any surprises yet. But to quote a classic: «Soon!»
