Have to say that I think his performance video was better for me. It was so cool and sexy. No shade on this mv though; the man is just so talented
I prefer the performance video too, sexy and classy . But this MV caught me off guard in a good way, I had a great laugh at the end
They’re calling it a performance video, but obviously it was done in the studio, with the dance part done separately. It’s amazing-and I agree, I like it better, just because there’s nothing to distract from his singing, and the dancers complement it. I’m looking forward to seeing a video of him doing it in concert, though, because I really love seeing performers doing their thing in real time. We all know Dimash is incredible in concert-he really vibes with an audience.

Loved your reaction to Dimash's Smoke MV. Saw your comment on his Smoke page, too. Agree with everything you said....I really loved the outro when he said "Easy" and the tone he used. I also repeated that part, too, before rewatching it a few more times. That part made the lyrics make sense...that this "bad boy/gangster" image was a "cover." So cool!! Loved that the "easy" was his soaring vocals mesmerizing the bad guys followed by that cool dombra beat and his backing vocals until the cops came. Brilliant...Dimash..."de-man." I love that you get the humor. It's such a fun side of him and he carries it off so well and in such creative ways! And I love the contrast between this and the performance video he released earlier in the month which felt far more serious. It's like how he had a stark contrast between his premiere of "When I've Got You" in Hong Kong where he was all in white and then he released the MV which was dark and a totally different feel!
