Beauty is what I see through out of the whole performance. Beauty in Dimash's voice, in the melody, the lyrics and background story, the stage, lighting, camera angles, his suit, hat and scarf and himself. There is so much beauty here in this performance that can move us to tears!

I get the sensation of being taken up by the melody line then going wherever it leads. If it is very beautiful or has a high note or crescendo then the sensation becomes flight. That is what happens to me when I listen to Dimash. Every time he hits a high note, I feel like a feather that has been blown way up into the air and is held aloft by the wind, only to be blown ever higher as Dimash's voice goes from one unbelievable note to the next. It is so enjoyable that it immediately becomes addictive, so there is the need to listen to every song he ever sang to look for more of these beautiful songs.
That is a very accurate description of the feeling you get when listening to a performance like this with such a special person performing it. Very few artists has the ability to transcend you to a different world and make you forget about logic and instead just feel and be in the moment, so i'm really glad I've found one of them. It seems like there's always an intention with every note as well, not just to impress, but to make the song complete! I'm excited to watch the next performance. For me it is simply the most beautiful song I have ever heard and I listen to it every night before bed. Many times it still brings tears to my eyes. Dimash’s voice and way of performing is mesmerizing and hypnotizing. There are many Dears (Dimash’s nickname for his fans) who tell the stories of how Dimash’s voice has healed or helped to heal their physical and mental maladies...including me. I have never been a member of a fan club until I found Dimash. My fellow Dear, Rae Ward, was pretty much restricted to bed due to stage 4 cancer when she found Dimash. He brought back to her a vitality and purpose she hadn’t felt in a long time. She dreamed of seeing Dimash in concert . Her dream became a reality when she traveled to China with another Dear who is a physician. Not only did they attend the concert but they also met Dimash and extended their vacation to include a trip to Kazakhstan. The story is so heartwarming!

Our Dimash has the gift of taking us on a journey every time he sings. He transfers his feeling and emotions to us through his beautiful voice. Dimash always knows the story of a song before he sings it, no matter the language so that he can sing with the passion and emotions of the story. This was D's first attempt to sing in Mandarin and had to learn this very difficult language in less than a week. e is indeed a very gifted young man. It really penetrates my soul. I've watched this performance for more than a hundred times, and it always has the same effect on me: I'm in tears. Nobody can teach me how to cry. But Dimash's singing just has that effect on me. There are English subtitles, but I don't need them, nor do I usually read them. Even if they were in my native language, I would not read them, and the effect would be the same.
This song really got to me as well, and like you said, I don't even need to understand the words to feel the song and what it is about! This is definitely one of my favourite performances of Dimash that I've watched so far! :)

The original is the Japanese version by the title 行かないで by Koji Tamaki in 1989. In 1990, a Cantonese Chinese version by the title 李香蘭 was released by Jackie Cheung in Hong Kong, and later was translated to Mandarin Chinese for the Mandarin-speaking markets by the same singer, for places like Taiwan. The lyrics are actually slightly different from the Japanese version, as the Chinese version was more about a broken heart/love lost, while the Japanese version is about the sorrow of what happened to the Chinese born Japanese singer. The version sang by Dimash was the Mandarin version, obviously since the show was on Hunan TV in China. You might notice an audience member was lip-singing to Dimash, because this song is well known by Chinese

This is probably my third favorite of his performances. I listened to this song growing up as a child, I watched some of the clips of the actress (my grandparents had VHR tapes). It's a beautiful song to begin with (the singer that sang the Chinese version originally is also an amazing singer in his own right), and the way he sang this was so tender and mournful. I definitely cried like a little baby when I heard this rendition the first time.
Definitely one of my favourite performances of him so far- it really touched me which is not very easy! I need to look up the original version and give that one a listen for sure! :)

There are many Dears (Dimash’s nickname for his fans) who tell the stories of how Dimash’s voice has healed or helped to heal their physical and mental maladies...including me. I have never been a member of a fan club until I found Dimash. My fellow Dear, Rae Ward, was pretty much restricted to bed due to stage 4 cancer when she found Dimash. He brought back to her a vitality and purpose she hadn’t felt in a long time. She dreamed of seeing Dimash in concert . Her dream became a reality when she traveled to China with another Dear who is a physician. Not only did they attend the concert but they also met Dimash and extended their vacation to include a trip to Kazakhstan. The story is so heartwarming!
I really loved this performance! Such a beautiful and emotional song and the execution of it made it come alive! He's got so many dimensions and layers to his voice that makes every performance different and unique! This has become one of my favorite performances of Dimash i have watched so far! Thank you for sharing that with me. It's a beautiful story and it's so nice to hear that he can have such a positive effect on people and bring purpose back into their lives! :)

Our Dimash has the gift of taking us on a journey every time he sings. He transfers his feeling and emotions to us through his beautiful voice. This was D's first attempt to sing in Mandarin and had to learn this very difficult language in less than a week. e is indeed a very gifted young man. It really penetrates my soul. I've watched this performance for more than a hundred times, and it always has the same effect on me: I'm in tears. Nobody can teach me how to cry. But Dimash's singing just has that effect on me. There are English subtitles, but I don't need them, nor do I usually read them. Even if they were in my native language, I would not read them, and the effect would be the same.
This song really got to me as well, and like you said, I don't even need to understand the words to feel the song and what it is about! This is definitely one of my favourite performances of Dimash that I've watched so far! :)

The original is the Japanese version by the title 行かないで by Koji Tamaki in 1989. In 1990, a Cantonese Chinese version by the title 李香蘭 was released by Jackie Cheung in Hong Kong, and later was translated to Mandarin Chinese for the Mandarin-speaking markets by the same singer, for places like Taiwan. The lyrics are actually slightly different from the Japanese version, as the Chinese version was more about a broken heart/love lost, while the Japanese version is about the sorrow of what happened to the Chinese born Japanese singer. The version sang by Dimash was the Mandarin version, obviously since the show was on Hunan TV in China. You might notice an audience member was lip-singing to Dimash, because this song is well known by Chinese

This is probably my third favorite of his performances. I listened to this song growing up as a child, I watched some of the clips of the actress (my grandparents had VHR tapes). It's a beautiful song to begin with (the singer that sang the Chinese version originally is also an amazing singer in his own right), and the way he sang this was so tender and mournful. I definitely cried like a little baby when I heard this rendition the first time.
Definitely one of my favourite performances of him so far- it really touched me which is not very easy! I need to look up the original version and give that one a listen for sure! :)

Episode 4 of the singer was a direct attack on everyone's soul. The only one who didn't sing a sad song was Tia Ray, the rest was heart breaking, soul wrecking songs. I spent that entire hour crying T_T
