The Mavs should have paid him sooner. Brunson's offer was more than reasonable. By the end of negotiations, I think it became more about principle than the money itself. The Mavs' pussyfooting both showed lack of trust in JB and gave him a chance to show glimpses of what he'd become, which is a LOT more than he was asking. To be fair, hindsight is 20/20 though, and even Knicks fans were on the fence with his contract at the time. Never did I think it'd be arguably the best contract in the NBA. As someone whose hometeam is the Knicks, we knew he'd be good, but we didn't think he'd be THIS good. I, for one, thought he might be a low level All-Star, but if you would have asked me back then if I would have thought he'd be arguably a top 10 player in the league and the best Knick since Ewing, I probably would have laughed.

The mavs did right by not paying him. He hadn’t proved to be worth that money before the 2 playoff games when Luka was out. The deadline to sign him early was mid-late regular season. At that time he hadn’t shown anything special to be worth that.

Even more it was not this front office but the previous regime that gave brunson that weird contract that allowed him to be an unrestricted free agent. He should have been a restricted free agent
Absolutely. And hasn't he had other connections to the Knicks org? Like his agent is the GMs son or something? Or someone else is his godfather? I could be wrong, but seems like I've heard other connections that made it seem inevitable.
@Mark-db1ok the head coach is Brunsons God-Father. Plus the Knicks told Brunson they would give him very close to a max contract effectively breaking the no tampering rule. If Mark Cuban wanted to he could have really made more of a big deal about this and probably could have got the deal Knicked (pun intended) because of the tampering.

@@jackchan6624right Brunson to me needs the ball absolutely most of the game to even touch 30 Luka could get the ball in the second half and still get 30
The Brunson thing is a bit more complicated because it was the transition between both front offices. The previous one effed up on Brunson for not making it guaranteed, that way he would have been an RFA instead of a UFA, which changes EVERYTHING. This Front Office mistake was not extending him when they could, but why didn't they do that? First, because Brunson was pretty bad in the Playoffs against the Clippers, he became unplayable so they were not sure if they would extend him or not but also, they delayed the extension offer in order to use him as a trade asset, otherwise by the time they thought of extending him, he would not qualify to be part of trades before the deadline. Once the trade deadline passed the Mavs offered him an extension but then he knew he was worth much more in the open market. Another reason he chose the Knicks is that not only the Mavs didn't match the Knicks offer, Brunson knew that he would be used as a trade chip and he chose the Knicks - with all the Rose and Brunson family connections security - instead of signing with the Mavs just to be traded to a bad team. What the Mavs could have done differently was to offer him something like a MLE-value contract by the time he showed glimpses of what he played in the Playoffs during that WCF run, mainly when Luka was injured during the season, that's the window they had to offer him an extension, at least according to what Brunson and his father said, so take it as it is. They said that had the Mavs offered that value at that time, Brunson would have accepted, but who knows, that might be Rick Brunson saying stuff just for optics. But considering the Mark Cuban component and the amount of things Nico Harrison had to clean up from the previous front office, I think he did a GREAT JOB. I doubt Nico Harrison would have done the KP trade, that effed the Mavs until this season, when the pick finally went to the Knicks and it's over. I think Nico Harrison would have played the team out a bit longer, kept the picks, and seen what they could do before making bold moves. Mark Cuban seems to LOVE big moves that never pan out, he lost the championship roster thinking he could sign big names in free agency, which resulted in a very mediocre team around Dirk. Always going for big trades, big moves, splashy headlines, big contracts, etc. Maybe Luka would already have a chip by now, or at least an MVP - the only thing keeping Luka from winning it has always been team record -, if it wasn't for the KP mistake.
In addition: Cuban not once - but TWICE screwed bringing back Tyson Chandler.. Even when the second time around he said he wouldn't make that mistake again and still did smh... And I don't even want to bring up the rondo trade but I regret letting Brandon Wright go the minute they traded him..back then he was one of our most efficient scorers in the post.. Just glad Nico is turning this team around with the moves he's been making..
Getting Kyrie as a distressed asset, who happens to be one of the most popular players in the league. Once the league saw that he was back. 100% why they got Klay. Remember, KD left Steph to follow Kyrie to Brooklyn. This Phoenix actually wanted Kyrie to go with KD and Booker.
Knicks literally got draft picks taken for tampering for Brunson. Crazy how nobody remembers that happening. There’s a very selective memory when it comes to anything that could possibly be perceived as a slight against the mavericks. In translation people will use literally any ammunition they can think up against the mavericks even if it’s invalid
@@Andrew-gs2ps , the Knicks lost a 2nd round pick in 2025. That's it, a single second round pick next year. It might have been something if Bronny had stay in college one more year.

Here is the main, and I mean MAIN reason this new FO does so much things right for the last 1.5 years... Cuban stays out of the decision making! Let me explain it more in detail: 1st lets look at the first view things Harris did when he took over the GM job: Traded the 26th pick and some role players for Wood, resigned THJ for 75/4, signed McGee to a 3 year contrat, didnt offer an extension to Brunson. All those decisions have turned out to be mistakes. I am sure that Harrison didnt do them alone, if at all. I am sure Cuban told him what to do here. Not litterally, but something like "Get this Wood player in here, Houston is open to trade talks!" or "Keep THJ here, he is important for our team", or "We do not extend Brunson right now, lets wait till the deadline and see how he does"... Cause thats exactly what he did for decades. Just a view things Nelson (former Dallas GM) wanted, or didnt want, to do: Draft Giannis, but Cuban told him to trade down. Draft Bane, but Cuban told him to draft Green. Trade Curry for Richardson, cause Cuban wanted more defense. Trade for Rondo, same reason as the Richardson trade. ... the list goes on. Cubans last real decision was the Kyrie trade. After that he basically wasnt really involved in FO decisions anymore, cause he started the talks with the Sands Group about selling the team. Means for the first time a GM had free range to do what he thought was the best for the team. So the Bertans+10th for 12th trade was Harrisons sole decision, the Holmes+24th for TPE trade was as well, so was the DJJ signing, the Exum signing, the Williams S&T, the Williams for PJ trade, the Holmes for Gafford trade... Harrison (together with Kidd and Finley) looked what worked and what is needed. And they immediately react as soon as they see some things that do not work. Williams wasnt able to play the role the franchise hoped he can, so they immediately traded him for a more athletic defender. They hoped Holmes can get back to his best days, but he was just not working out, so they traded him as soon as a better option was available. They saw that shooting was our biggest problem in the finals, so they immediately got one of the best shooters in NBA history on the team, and upgraded the wing positions overall with more shooting. They saw that DJJ changed agents and acted strange after the Dallas offer (they offered him the Marshall contract). So instead of waiting and talking they looked for a replacement and signed Marshall. They saw that the Team was macking a 3rd good playmaker, so they brought in Dinwiddie, who they know works good next to Luka off the bench. I would bet a lot of money, that a lot of those things wouldnt happen if Cuban would still hold all the strings.

@@DunningKrugerJnr No... just no! But because you like copy&paste... What are you talking about? Get your facts straight! Donnie gave him 4 guaranteed years. That meant Brunson was an uFA in 2022. Brunsons father became assistant coach in late June of 2022, so shortly before free agency. At that point Brunson already (and rightfully so) made up his mind about leaving. And yes, New York offered more money and way more job security. Cause it was clear that Dallas would use Brunson (on a low contract) as a trade asset again for a star. So yes, Nico did f** it up in 2021. He couldve given Brunson the 55/4 extension that summer, or at least try to negotiate and lower the price. But he didnt even talk to him. The current squad is great, but one could only imagine a team with Luka, Brunson, OG, Giannis, and Jokic (if they didn't trade away their picks). That probably would have been the greatest non-Olympic lineup ever assembled.
Agreed. Cuban wanted to pay players he liked on a personal level. Chandler Parsons being the worst example of this. Powell and Maxi are another couple examples. Decent enough players, but not worth 10 million per year.

Mavs and Celtics is a lock as a rematch. The only team that can challenge Dallas is OKC and they are not ready without another real scoring option. Caruso and Hartenstein are great but they don’t fix them standing around watching Shai… Twolves and Mavs will be another 5 game series, Denver is not on the same tier as the Mavs either..
Why the Klay move works so well im Dallas is they can be matchup specific and keep klay fresh...Hes gonna get the Livel/ Gafford treatment where he shares close to equal time with Naji Marshal unless hes hot...or Naji is working better for the night then whoever is working out for en generally in a particular gake is gonna get slightly more minutes for that game... It'll allow Klay to just go balls out whenever hes in there and hes gonna have so many open looks here I expect another couple of scorche Klay signature games when he gets going r
One thing I think you guys missed is when the dust cleared they worked it so that they upgraded at three spots where the players had definite roles in their road to the finals with better players...One to One...Klay>THJ, Naji Marshall>Derrick Jones Jr, and Quinton Grimes>Josh Bell.... that's incredible because those were useful players that they made huge upgrades over considering that Klay has always been his whole career the guy they were hoping and praying THJ was a lesser but erdective version of and he wasnt at the end.
The brunson situation is really complicated 1. He really want to go to the Knicks, when his father sign a job there it's almost a guarantee 2. Let's not forget how JB has been played off the court during the first 2 first round series against the Clippers, those series make the previous front office hesitate to give him that extension 3. And during the 2022 WCF run JB was still off the bench and become full time starter until the end of December when THJ gets injured, that's just when JB showed immense improvement
There was a lot of ppl saying eight months ago that this summer was going to be difficult for mavs to do improvements due to changes in trading rules. They were wrong
Nico is the king of bargain shopping. Klay 16M, DJJ vet min, Exum vet min, Dinwiddie vet min, Marshall 9M, Kryie (less than the max). Offloading THJ and getting Grimes. Offloading Bertans and getting the Lively pick,. Taking on the Holmes contract to get the Omax pick, Swapping picks with OKC to get the 2024 first rounder that was traded to get Gafford. None of these guys were the top free agent available, but the aggregated moves have made the Mavs significantly better.
Now all the sudden it’s really easy for front office to look good with Luka Doncic…LOL. How many big time FA’s has Dallas signed….like ever? They traded for Kyrie and that changed everything. What people do not want to admit is that with Luka there are so many more good open looks for shots than any team in the league. Why more FA’s do not sign with this team is a mystery to me. Klay Thompson could see this.
Grimes and Naji are not as athletic as DJJ. But are good defenders, who can dribble meaning they can actually attack closeouts. I'm not a big a fan of the Klay signing, but it is what it is.
The Jaylen Brunson thing does not count. Nico came in and it was already too late. The previous front office botched it. And if you blame him for JB then you have to give him credit for the Spencer dinwiddie trade deadline that bolstered the roster and got them to the WCF in Nico’s FIRST YEAR.
I didn't get through all of the comments but the Brunson thing is not completely on the Mavericks... besides him wanting NY, everyone forgets him getting benched the year before the WCF run and he started the year coming off the bench. The Mavs didn't extend him in the last year of his contract in case they needed to trade him at that deadline. Once they decided it was KP that ws going to be moved it was too late to extend Brunson.... Mavs loved Brunson but they were realistic. He had been played off the court the year before his contract year.
mark cuban was an owner. he doesn’t recruit players. that was and still is nico’s job. Nico & Brad are the 2 best presidents in the NBA & it’s not even close. Nico basically trade porzingis for PJ, Gafford, Livley.. and they are all under 25 and under contract for cheap lol
What kind of presentation is this?? Yall are just talking basketball intelligently, respectfully, and calmly. Don't you know you're supposed to be arguing and yelling over each other and having manufactured fights, while spitting out ridiculous hot take after hot take? (maybe with a hip hop music bed playing under it all?) That's what espn tells me sports talk is supposed to be... It's also why they lost me. But you all just earned a new sub. Well done, guys!
Y'all still going for that stupid Brunson argument? Brunson was never near half of what he is now when they were discussing the contract extension. The only reason Brunson were able to showcase his skills fully is when Tim Hardaway Jr. got injured so coming from 6th man he became the starter of course his minutes went up equals more opportunity. And not to mention Mavs front office were hesitant to offer him the extension cause he was a non-factor that got DNP's during the last playoffs before the extension talks. Plus his rookie contract was kinda stupid in the first place instead of restricted free agent that the most rookies got on their contracts he got unrestricted so Mavs don't got any chance to match offers from the Knicks or any team. And of course Knicks tampered by signing his dad as an assistant coach and Knicks GM Leon Rose is his Godfather
Cuban "innovative" and "out of the bow thinking" was working well in the 2000s, but it got stale and stagnated the team in the late Dirk years. He liked big splashy moves, trying to outsmart people with analytics, like when he gutted the team assets for Porzingis, and that didn't work because the guy was promised a 1a 1b status but was never healthy enough to deliver. The new FO regime is the opposite Best decision Cuban ever made was to sell the team when he realied other team caught up and were outsmarting him. His public presence was a big problem to get free agents.
It was the previous front office that botched the Brunson thing Wes…Donnie Nelson waived his RFA rights because he thought Giannis would leave MIL and Jalen’s dad was already in place at the Knicks by the time Nico started…do your research on a topic before you speak on it
People love to throw shade about the whole Brunson situation which I think is ridiculous. You can't just say omg look how good he is now with the Knicks the Mavs were stupid... Because realistically, there's an incredibly high chance that he would have never became the caliber of player he is now if he would have stayed in Dallas with Luka and the style of game the Mavs play. On top of that the roster would be completely different, and with how they look now I think they made the right choice. Not just for themselves but for Brunson as well ! To say it was still a mistake today I just think is wrong.
Brunson is a 40% usage rate PG. Same as Luka. He wanted his own team. From the moment the Knicks hired his father...Although it is weird how Cuban could lose a RESTRICTED free agent.
Mavs FO has been incompetent for 2 decades. The second Cuban sells the team, they start making genius level moves. That’s not a coincidence. All hail Nico.
Negative dude, you do know that we won a title in 2011 right? Did you miss when we won 50+ games a season for over a decade? Nico has clearly been an upgrade, but calling the Mavs front office incompetent for the last 2 decades is a ridiculous, casual fan take.
@@lylegillean5477I’m sorry but Mark doesn’t get much credit for that 1 chip when he immediately blew up the squad right after. Dirk is a top 20 all time player. We should have had multiple chips but cuban thinks he’s better at building a roster than his GM.

Okay, Wes Goldberg has no business being in sports media WHATSOEVER. Absolutely ridiculous and disgraceful opinion with no regard for facts. Jalen always wanted to be a Knick and he took a pay cut to make that happen. There was literally nothing the Mavericks could do no matter who was in charge. This has been news for years now and is nothing new or convoluted. That man has some nerve coming off as some expert who thinks their opinion has value. He apparently didn’t even listen to Jalen’s own words or even consider his father was a member of the Knicks organization. That’s horrible journalism.

In addition: Cuban not once
- but TWICE screwed bringing back Tyson Chandler..
Brunson wanted to go to the Knicks, he took $113M less over 4 years to help make the Knicks great.
And Brunson's father is working for the Knicks.
@@michaelpickering1039 i mean tbh tampering goes on with probably every single FA signing that’s ever happened
@Andrew-gs2ps just like folks make every effort to down Luka who just played over 100 games this past season and with national team, they literally don't understand without Luka that team wouldn't be close to a wcf and finals. He was too hurt to continue playing imo but folks love to crap on his performance not mentioning his injuries, but ignore how bad ky was in boston series. It's bias. And worse
Just the fact that Nico in some of the trades has also been able to acquire draft picks is top tier general managing.
Nico heading for GOAT status. Btw I don't think Nico was GM when Brunson left? Brunson wanted to go anyway.
Here is the main, and I mean MAIN reason this new FO does so much things right for the last 1.5 years...
Cuban stays out of the decision making! Let me explain it more in detail:
1st lets look at the first view things Harris did when he took over the GM job: Traded the 26th pick and some role players for Wood, resigned THJ for 75/4, signed McGee to a 3 year contrat, didnt offer an extension to Brunson.
Nico didn’t mess up the Brunson thing…Donnie waived his RFA rights to save some bucks for Giannis in free agency…Jalen’s dad was already in place at the Knicks when Nico arrived and it was all done and dusted
Hi Smido,agree 100%.
@@DunningKrugerJnr No... just no! But because you like copy&paste...
What are you talking about? Get your facts straight! Donnie gave him 4 guaranteed years. That meant Brunson was an uFA in 2022. Had he given him 4 years with the 4th being a team option, he couldve been a rFA in 2021. Who decited to give him 4 guaranteed instead of 3+1? Thats pure speculation. I think Cuban did.
And Brunson asked for an extension in the Summer of 2021. Means he asked NICO and Cuban. Noone even talked to him. Then he asked again in January of 2022, after he became starter, and he still didnt get the extension. Then, after the FO and Nico couldnt find a trade package around him to bring in a star, they offered him the 55/4 extension (same as they did with DFS) and Brunson said no.
Do I think that Cuban gave Nico that order? Clearly. Cause Cuban made all decisions. Still Nico was already GM. So how do you know it was Nelsons decision to give Brunson the 4 year contract, not the 3+1? I think that was Cuban as well... cause Cuban (untill last year) made all decisions.
Nico traded for Wood, how did that work out? He signed McGee to that awfull 3 year contract, he resigned THJ to that 75/4 contract, he didnt extend Brunson... all things that happened BEFORE Cuban started the discussions about selling the team. He wasnt involved in the day to day operations since March/April of 2023. So the Kyrie trade was basically the last time Cuban was really involved. Everything after that was Nico, without Cuban interference... We never saw Donnie without Nico interference at all.
Is Nico a great GM? Yes, no question whatsoever. I am glad as hell we have him. I think he is a Top3 GM in the league right now. But I hate all the shi** that wannabe Mavs experts say about Donnie. Cause Cuban never allowed him to really do his job. Just one example, Donnie wanted to draft Giannis, but Cuban told him to trade down to save money for free agency. You know... "Keep the powder dry!" That wasnt Donnies decision, same as it wasnt Nicos decision to not extend Brunson.
This is the front office after Brunson. Coach and GM is new after Bronson left
That is not correct. Brunson played under Kidd and Nico for one season.
No? Coach and GM came in in June of 2021, Brunson left in the Summer of 2022.
Not true but Mark Cuban was still meddling in everything just like he always has. It’s his fault Brunson walked.

Hmmm maybe it's only one team that scares me and that's the Denver Nuggets
Nico headhunts for renegade types
should have taken draymond too😎
Why the Klay move works so well im Dallas is they can be matchup specific and keep klay fresh...Hes gonna get the Livel/ Gafford treatment where he shares close to equal time with Naji Marshal unless hes hot...or Naji is working better for the night then whoever is working out for en generally in a particular gake is gonna get slightly more minutes for that game... It'll allow Klay to just go balls out whenever hes in there and hes gonna have so many open looks here I expect another couple of scorche Klay signature games when he gets going r
Who does Wes think is the best front office in the NBA currently?
Probably okc’s
They have not done anything in trades or free agency until this year.
Wes talked about the timing of the moves the Mavs made.
Well the other teams could’ve also tried and get same players but they didn’t🤷🏽♂️
The brunson situation is really complicated
1. He really want to go to the Knicks, when his father sign a job there it's almost a guarantee
2. Let's not forget how JB has been played off the court during the first 2 first round series against the Clippers, those series make the previous front office hesitate to give him that extension
3. And during the 2022 WCF run JB was still off the bench and become full time starter until the end of December when THJ gets injured, that's just when JB showed immense improvement
If Nico can bring AD next season, he will deserve a statue next to Dirks.
Didn’t the Mavs add Spencer Dinwiddie again?
Brendan, I think Omax is still another year off getting 10mins
Jalen Brunson was never staying.
Jalen Brunson Trade was before Nico Harrison... This is a fairly new Front office
Never listened to this podcast but immediately recognised the first voice I heard as we loved trolling the Suns
Grimes and Naji are not as athletic as DJJ. But are good defenders, who can dribble meaning they can actually attack closeouts. I'm not a big a fan of the Klay signing, but it is what it is.
The Porzingis trade was prior to Nico too
The Jaylen Brunson thing does not count. Nico came in and it was already too late. The previous front office botched it. And if you blame him for JB then you have to give him credit for the Spencer dinwiddie trade deadline that bolstered the roster and got them to the WCF in Nico’s FIRST YEAR.
Luka got DJJ a bag, he was tricked by clutch to sign at LAC. Next season his production will be down
I didn't get through all of the comments but the Brunson thing is not completely on the Mavericks... besides him wanting NY, everyone forgets him getting benched the year before the WCF run and he started the year coming off the bench. The Mavs didn't extend him in the last year of his contract in case they needed to trade him at that deadline. Once they decided it was KP that ws going to be moved it was too late to extend Brunson.... Mavs loved Brunson but they were realistic. He had been played off the court the year before his contract year.
They have literally guaranteed Klay the starting role with guaranteed mins. He’s starting.
In all fairness The Brunson thing got screwed up from the previous front office onwards.
50M coming off the Bench? 27M Starting? Doesn't Make Sense
If they can become a good defense team, they can be a team to beat
The Brunson thing was 90% the previous front office.
Idk how jerry west wasnt mentioned man could aquire talent
mark cuban was an owner. he doesn’t recruit players. that was and still is nico’s job. Nico & Brad are the 2 best presidents in the NBA & it’s not even close. Nico basically trade porzingis for PJ, Gafford, Livley.. and they are all under 25 and under contract for cheap lol
This must before they picked back up Spencer
What kind of presentation is this?? Yall are just talking basketball intelligently, respectfully, and calmly. Don't you know you're supposed to be arguing and yelling over each other and having manufactured fights, while spitting out ridiculous hot take after hot take? (maybe with a hip hop music bed playing under it all?)
That's what espn tells me sports talk is supposed to be...
His public presence was a big problem to get free agents.
it was before niko!
It was the previous front office that botched the Brunson thing Wes…Donnie Nelson waived his RFA rights because he thought Giannis would leave MIL and Jalen’s dad was already in place at the Knicks by the time Nico started…do your research on a topic before you speak on it
Starting klay does not mean a bulk of the minutes come from klay. He can start and still play less minutes than the 6th man
People love to throw shade about the whole Brunson situation which I think is ridiculous.
Mavs are gunna be a Juggernaut 😤
Dallas mavericks are guaranteed 2025 champions
Can’t forgive them Losing Brunson but have recovered With trades and draft picks. They have to go all in or Luka Leaves.
Brunson is a 40% usage rate PG. Same as Luka. He wanted his own team. From the moment the Knicks hired his father...Although it is weird how Cuban could lose a RESTRICTED free agent.
Cuban still owns 23% of the Mavs and is over basketball operations. He sold them to bring casinos to the DFW
Nico Harrison was also a Cuban hire during his tenure he gave him a chance outside the norm. Cuban also has done great things as a owner
@@lylegillean5477I’m sorry but Mark doesn’t get much credit for that 1 chip when he immediately blew up the squad right after. Dirk is a top 20 all time player. We should have had multiple chips but cuban thinks he’s better at building a roster than his GM.
@@Joe_Ma99 Of course Mark gets credit for the chip. This isn't a mobile game where a bad disappears a good. Both exist. Does he get any credit for the 06 finals run where we had the better team and should have won that chip? Or the 07 roster where we got the 1 seed?
Tires groupthink narrative…Nico rebuilt the team in his first two seasons whereas Cuban only left halfway through his third…I do think Cuban got in the way but I don’t think you should tell lies to make the point
Brunson was botched before Nico
And now the Mavs have Dinwiddie....
Wes, I ll never believe that Mavs screwed up Brunson.Maybe Donnie did with the last year of original contract. I ll always believe Nico and co. decided to let JB walk & okie doked the Knicks into giving JB the contract they did,as a thank you to JB.Kidd said he was going to help JB a bag.Mission accomplished.I still don t think JB was worth the contract he got based on his body of work at that time.He never was going to become what he has playing with Luka. Bottom line JB has worked out for everyone,so I d really love to hear everyone lay off with the Mavs f d up with with JB. Results really say otherwise
I’m tired of hearing about this damn Brunson narrative he wanted to go back home play with his dad and his best friends. You can clearly see that now how the team is constructed please drop it Jesus Christ.
Mavs 100% had the opportunity to sign Brunson to a much cheaper deal the season BEFORE all of this went down where Brunson to the Knicks was essentially inevitable. Before Brunson really started to break out.
@@dundaliswhile that may be true, understand that Brunson hadn’t really proven himself until that season. No one but Jalen knew how that would turn out.
At the time, they weren’t even sure if he was a good fit.
We didnt botch brunson, he just wasnt that guy at the time and the fit wasnt great
Harrison makes some good moves yes Kudos to him. But he went and got Williams and praised him as 3rd star. Proven wrong made the trade for PJ and Gafford. I rather have Brunson than Irving younger better ball in hand than Irving freeing up Luka to play some off ball. I think Klay should be a great pickup time will tell. Liv great pickup. Turning THJ & Bertains terrble contracts key. Then we keep Morris & Powell both of which were totally unplayable in playoffs. Omax time will tell. Overall i give Nico a B+ and Kidd a C. Hopefully all will improve 15% and this will be another great year.
klay won't move the needle cause his best days are long gone
Plz dallas fans, explain your weaknesses and how you filled the void. Assuming klay will resume his star play is a leap. Jones had a decent year but bad playoffs. The finals might be the real Washington. The offense you run is basically Luka, without him they miss the playoffs. The defense didn’t get better and 5 out teams will crush this team.
umm no - boston does. and i am mavs fan
Do you know how much they’re paying for that roster?
Yeah maybe…things could get ugly very quickly with that squad if they’re not careful…how much longer can Horford cover for KP injuries? They’re way over the 2nd apron and can’t change their squad at all…good on them for winning last year but it has come at a price 😮
I don't believe you're a Mavs fan
Brunson was never signing back.
